Lewis and Tina served our delicious breakfast. The service we received was exceptional . Both were so helpful and courteous and are an absolute credit to the Company.

Went into the cafe hungry, I ordered two baps for myself, one bacon and egg bap, and the other was a sausage bap with mushrooms and cheese. The latter of the two is my favourite and often get it different places. They arrived at my table and the egg and bacon was good, not great but ok, but the sausage bap came out with a slice of burger cheese which I wasn’t expecting as most places use real cheese even if it’s just the cheap grated stuff, and on top of that was a whole flat mushroom. I asked the “chef” if they had mushrooms and he said he would do something with it, but all he did was take my bap apart and slice the mushroom…I told him I didn’t want it and I’ll pop up to the till and get a refund. I don’t like flat mushrooms, they are not the type of mushrooms to have inside a bap, and if I was made aware that that’s what the mushroom was at the time of ordering them I wouldn’t have bothered wasting my time. And then after the chef/employee gave me a refund he stormed off throwing a tantrum talking about me in the kitchen which I could hear, he must’ve thought he was being like marco Pierre or Gordon but ended up coming across as a child. Very unprofessional is an understatement, although he came to my table with the refund which was not expected as I had already said I’ll pop up to the till, but I said thank you and wished him s good day but only got his back (which also I have to point out had food smudges like dried egg or something) at that point my face screwed up and wanted to get out as quickly as possible. Terrible cafe, terrible service and and all in all a terrible experience. Avoid this place!!

The food was beautifully presented, cooked, and everything was good quality. Swift service and great value for money. Would recommend Test Cafe. Thank you Tesco cafe staff.

i went for lunch and think I had the driest most flavourless baked potato I've ever had! The cheese had no taste at all. My friend had a panini with cheese, which weirdly was a base covered in melted cheese with the lid to one side. Came with a tiny bit of sale covered I a truly foul dressing. I'd go for coffee again but def not to eat!!

So sorry to have say this but This has got to be the worst lunch I have ever experienced. The service was fine it was just the terrible food. Places like this need to be closed down I will never go there again and would highly recommend they sack the chef. What a shame it is a good looking idealy positioned restaurant.

When Tesco lost it's way and started selling off the bits it couldn't hold onto anymore that also included Giraffe which is what this Cafe replaced. You walk in, make an order, get given a stick with a number on it and they bring you what you have ordered. That in itself is fine but the problem lies in the food and drink. All of what they serve is like a polished greasy spoon. Burgers, paninis ect... oh, and don't forget Costa coffee. No cheap eatery is complete without the 'proud to provide Costa Coffee' like that is anything special. I ordered Goat's cheese and caramelised onion on focaccia bread. It tasted nice enough but with only two ingredients it'd take a special kind of idiot to get that wrong. The focaccia bread looked (and tasted) more like a slice of white bread with the crusts cut off. What they should have done is got a real coffee chain in to make a good go of it. Instead what you get is like what Tesco used to do before Giraffe only with a brioche bun on their frozen burger and someone attempting (and failing) to make coffee. I don't think i'd go again.

This spot was just lovely: clean, great menu, fast service! The dishes were well made and very tasty. Fast and friendly service. My two decades and an half of catering/customer service/private service and commerce professional training and experience makes me decide to give, as it is now, a 9 on 10! I hope they will continue to do so. Merci to the team!

Evitar.

this was a very not conventional hotel. they charged me for things no person working at a hotel or similar facility would ever consider charging a guest for like basic internet connection to the guest network which came at a daily rate of £5 and could only be used on one device and a £50 private landlord style "deposit" (lol) that they charged me for basically nothing that I'm not even sure I will ever get back. In hindsight, a hotel charging its guests a "deposit" like they were a letting agency or a private landlord renting out a studio room or a shared accommodation may not even be legal. Room was nice though other than a curtain covered in heavy mould and the fact that the room was outside of range of the wifi signals of the guest network which due to the £5 daily access fee I didn't use anyway.
