Great visit, the menu is more than just a supermarket...Claire on the order station really friendly & helpful..the lattes are hot with a lovely pattern on which even highstreet coffee shops dont always do. Food nice shame no sweet potato fries anymore. But overall a great visit

Really, if they can't manage to make a proper cappuccino they should take it off the menu. They were just flat coffees basically. When we asked why they weren't frothy they said that's as frothy as they can do it. Well there was no froth at all. Terrible

Popped in for a bite to eat and a drink approx 2pm. There was only 1 lady taking orders, making drinks, and taking payments.Obviously it was not the ladies fault, they were so short staffed.Managers need ti seriously look at staffing over peak times. Cheese and ham toastie,was just about edible- if you like eating food that tastes like soggy cardboard and looks anaemic. Chicken strips and fries....so over done they were positively crunchy . Can of coke £2.05 Tables full of used crockery - a complete disaster area. Top tip - eat before you visit, and save your money and taste buds!

Quick bite to eat with my son . Friendly staff. Wasn’t planning on eating here, but we was both hungry. Cheap enough.

Staff are lovely, we r both disabled and 1 of us has Parkinsons, they were so kind. Food was piping hot and served with a smile, coffee lattes wonderful. Force down another coffee and then to the seafront.. THANK YOU TESCOS MERESIDE

So its not important to have a drink but shopping with my 87 year old mother i needed one. We went into your store cafe we were greeted by claire ask how we were, served our drinks offered us hot or cold milk & put our sugars in so we didnt have to mess. Alot of store staff dont have time to even say hello but claire made it for us we have never been in the cafe before but looking at the menu we will be back after lockdown.

Walked in but was met by an extremely rude woman who marched towards me with her hand up to make me walk back. Then demanded if I had the track and trace app, I told her no. She then demanded my name and number. I have certainly no problem with supplying that but the manner in which she asked was atrocious. Absolutely no people skills, no friendly greeting whatsoever. Tesco need to train their staff to be courteous to customers and not use covid as an excuse to order people about in a Nazi style way.

Very good choice of food but I don’t like onions with my tuna and also my support worker Adele is my support bubble with me having a disability I need to have support with me at All times I have globel learning difficulties and West syndrome where my left side of my brain doesn’t function properly and also definitely coming back again whenever am in Blackpool very good track and trace and got served and seated very quickly but had to wait for a table but the food was brilliant

Absolute crap tesco,the customer service is terrible.was going to a till and the assistant glared at me as if to say dont come to my till,went to the self scans the girl on there(10.45 am 10th june 2020 biggish girl with dark hair)was having a chat with a customer and because I cudnt find a bar code on a pair of shorts she held it up to me like I was stupid then carried on talking,wanted 3 tags taking of my clothing which I had bought she took them off never spoke to me and nearly threw the items at me,needs to sort her attitude out.

Ok so it may be just a supermarket cafe but we were really surprised. Myself, partner & toddler stopped off for something to eat before heading to our hotel for the wkend. It was busy the 2 ladies on the time 1 i believe was the manager were working non stop but also chatting to the customers, we didnt know the system till the lady took the time to ecplain it. The small black trays dont hold many items so the lady for kindly helped with the items i couldnt get. She even came bk to us with colours & colouring sheet for our son. You dont see much good customer service nowadays but here we did the food we ordered was good, shames its a £1 for a slice of bacon tho but overall really good visit and my hubby was impressed thankyou blackpool 😀

After going to another Tesco cafe and really enjoying it, we decided to try the one at Blackpool. We didn't think it could be that much different. How wrong were we! There were 2 tills open and still people were queuing. There was only one till open at the other Tesco Cafe but there were no queues there, even if it was roughly the same time. The staff at Blackpool we unfriendly, unhelpful and sullen. The tables were dirty and people were reserving these (God knows why) by putting their bags on the seats as you would on a sun lounger when on holiday. The food, when it eventually arrived, was awful. Cold and I think thrown together by the aforementioned sullen staff. Wouldn't return.......EVER!!!

what can i say you couldnt cut the breakfast with the knife and fork my mum had a sausage toastie with no butter on the bread dry as an old boot and my breakfast was cold as and couldnt cut it with the crap cutlery...the staffwhere pleasent though i saw on the other table two builders left the majority off there breakfast but girl who served us was nice and waitress shame about food wish i took a photo

Jacket potato overcooked! Dry, burned and hard skin! Not allowed to be served with butter?? Very small amount of beans and big chunk of strong cheese melted on top leaving loads of grease swimming around. Served with a side of very sad looking, small amount of lettuce which is covered in grease from the cheese! Won’t bother next time I’m shopping. Friend had all day breakfast which looked a lot more appealing, just a shame they don’t offer a smaller size breakfast.

we go there when do are shopping as its been hot lately only wanted drinks this time all ok . coffee can be good but depend who makes it with which milk food is what you would expect from this type of cafe

Quite often call in for cake n coffee, sometimes coffee Luke warm and they have changed suppliers of scones, new ones no where near as good

not as good as when run by costa, cheaper brands of coffee and tea now served. scones are always nice big and fresh, and food is basic but usually well cooked and hot !!

Review of cafe. Was a Costa now a Tesco own cafe now. Okay food okay value okay service. Okay in summary.

We've been here before and it used to be ok but the place has gone down hill! We had the vegetarian breakfast and it was awful. The quorn sausages were so hard you would need a saw to cut them! The tomato was hard and hardly cooked at all, the toast was the cheapest white bread with margarine on and it was burnt. The eggs were overdone too! Will not be returning here, even the setting has gone downhill, they used to have lovely faux plants dotted around the cafe but these have all disappeared. I recommend going to Morrisons cafe on Amy Johnson way instead where the food is amazing and the cafe is too!

I have been coming to Tesco Cafe for many years, usually with my now 2 year old daughter.

Dear Mr Tesco, this store stinks! The smell of drains is absolutely horrendous, particularly towards the fish counter and by the end of the cheese isle. The smell is so bad it actually made me bork. This can not be hygienic in a food sales environment. It's been like this for months, surely someone else has complained?

No longer my fave place to shop stopped goin g for two reasons 1. It had a strange smell like blocked drains with put me off buying food 2. They no longer have clubcard boost in store a promotion I used to look forward to every year.

Breakfast is terrible bacon swimming in grease and had black bits stuck to it from the griddle when I took it back the woman looked at me and tutted Would highly recommend NOT to eat there.

Excellent shop normally and today was no exception, however, I followed a cafe team leader out of the ladies who forgot to use soap to wash her hands (disgusted!!) I shall eat elsewhere in future.

Been twice now before shopping, only had coffee n toasted tea cake and coffee and scone this week. Just have to say service really quick they are really friendly and this week I had the best scone ever, really fresh and homemade(not from Tesco). Meals look good too very inexpensive let's hope it stays this way

Went to the Ascent trampolining and needed to get the girls some lunch. Which isn't ideal on a Sunday afternoon with early closing. So tesco cafe was the nearest, it was busy and a little noisy, so when ordering the staff didn't hear my full order and my daughters food was missed off (she was the birthday girl!) Her friends wanted toasted sandwiches so I asked if they did children's, just cheese, she checked and came back and she said yes! I was charged full price even though it was just cheese. When the meals came, my daughter had to wait due to her order bein missed!! When I've been before its been great, and this time the main reason was to have the lovely fresh made pizzas but was told they don't do them on Sundays...

I wouldn't usually even think to write a review on a supermarket however I was so shocked when I went into this Tesco, we have a Tesco Extra locally which is huge but nothing like this. There is no much choice and variety and I was very surprised to see the beauty area.

You get what you expect from a good Tesco, great customer service and plenty to choose from. Good do with more GIN options but that's my personal choice.

When entering Blackpool this Tesco is so easy to find and great for picking up any essentials you might need to add. It is also fantastic for beauty treatments too. Having it's own salon and nail bar which is great.

Smiles cost nothing, staff could be a little more friendly and helpful, only one or two spoke more than two words to us and were pleasant.

It is a very busy restaurant but we always seem to find a seat. The food is very good whether you want a full meal or just a snack or even just coffee. The staff are always helpful and cheerful and keep a high standard of cleanliness.

The café is large and we never have a problem getting seated. The food is varied from main meals to snacks, children catered for. The staff are very good and efficient always cheerful. The food is of a good standard and served hot.
