Tesco Cafe in Bristol, City of

we decided to try the breakfast in the Tesco as I have not eaten there for years, very reasonably priced large or small compared to high street cafes, great value for money 💰

The price and quality of food is good. The dining area is spacious.

Awful experience. Young girl trying to prepare online orders whilst serving in store customers was bullied by older colleague. Needs a proper manager or close it down.

Absolutely awful food, cold toast , gone off smelly egg, dry pancakes , missing ingredients. The staff wearing masks touching them constantly then serving and preparing food without washing their hands, transferring germs from the dirty masks onto people's plates. Taking off masks, coughing and spluttering everywhere then putting them back on again. One staff member preparing and serving food only. Long waiting times. Staff shouting at each other. Don't eat there, unhygienic, horrible food. I'm surprised the health and safety executive allow them to operate.

Kelsie and Kirsty in the Brislington, Bristol cafe were an absolute delight. Kind and friendly. It was very clean and the food was lovely. Thank you ladies.

The very inexperienced person you have cooking your food on Sunday the 9th of October needs to be taught how to cook very simple bits of food.

We ordered The Breakfast and Maple Syrup and Streaky bacon Waffles. The server was blunt never asked us if would like any choice of toast or fried bread or any extras, when we got served the waffles are not belgian waffles as advertised neither was this streaky bacon. Also barely any maple syrup on top so waffles were dry. STOP FAKE ADVERTISING! Youre lying to your customers! Next time if you haven't got the items or run out, stop selling it so people won't get disappointed. We used come here often and the food used to be delicious, now its unbelievably bad. I dont what happened but we are not coming back.

Went for a quick bite on Sunday as website says open until 4pm. When I got there I was told I could only order a drink because they close at 3pm. What is this called nowadays, misinformation, disinformation, fake news?

Staff are super friendly at this store they couldn’t do enough to help us and the food was amazing highly recommended this cafe

Lovely staff, food cooked well love going there for breakfast with my daughter before school as its always been nice. Customer service is amazing, they ladies that work there always interact with my daughter and treat her with respect like an adult.

Great service, flexible about changes made to set breakfast, staff friendly, could do with more staff to help clean table in busy periods 😀

Was given warm milkshakes and when asked to be swapped for cold ones we were told that's just how they are, food came and it was a mix of over and under done but staff told us that they can't control how it's cooked. Customer service was poor they did not seem to want to be there. Would not come back at all very disappointing.

Normally I'd leave a pic and a review on my food but after watching all the people that were behind me in the queue receive their food which was around half hour I went up to enquire where our food was only to find that they hadn't got my order much less done or started it.....I had a refund as we couldn't stay and wait any longer,,,,,,,,,just of late they seem to be making to many mistakes ,,,,the staff are lovely as a rule,,,,,,food is usually good,,, if ya get it that is,,,whatever ya do don't get a panini they're soggy more like microwaved not toasted ( I've saw crispier and stiffer socks) and the filling is so meagre (I've saw an ant carry more than what's in them)it's a waste of money ,,,twice I've ordered them and both times they've been awful,,,never again not even if I was starved and that was all there was to eat

Did not know they had a cafe, staff this after noon were very helpful and a credit to tesco didn't have any pies left we only wanted a drink and a little snack, so they made us cheese on toast. What service we'll done we will be using them more often.

El chico detrás del mostrador no sabía la diferencia entre una taza grande y una pequeña. Cuando conseguimos nuestras bebidas, las bebidas estaban muy calientes y agradables, pero las tazas no estaban muy limpias.

First time here, pleasantly surprised. Nice cuppa tea and a lovely tea cake. And only £2.75, bargain. Staff very friendly. Upstairs so not great for access, but their is a lift. Also, hidden away a bit at the back of the store.

Only has a cup of tea but found the cups had very small handles which made them difficult to hold.

Friendly, obliging staff, clean and quite nice food. There were some newspapers to read on the table, which was handy as I was waiting for a lift.

Breakfast ok, including catering for slimmers with a 325 calorie grilled breakfast. Coffee very nice.

Mientras compraba en nuestro Tesco local, decidimos tomar un desayuno rápido en la cafetería de arriba Mi esposa tenía un sándwich de salchicha tostada que se había echado a perder demasiado y demasiado dulce encurtido dentro Yo mismo fui por los huevos Royale (pensé que me arriesgaría después de todo lo que estábamos en un supermercado) cuando llegó, era de primera clase hasta los centros de huevos estándar y blandos. Recomendaría a cualquiera que elija esto para el desayuno.

The staff at the café in Tesco Brizlington are lovely and very accommodating I'm disabled and they can't do enough for me the food is cooked to order and is very nice

Massive thank you to the staff at Callington Rd, Bristol who served me a much needed coffee with seconds before closing and let me sit and charge my phone as I was stranded with a broken down car. Much appreciated, lovely, latte as well!

Absolute joke, I asked for a flat white with coconut milk and this is what I ended up with, when I asked for a new one, the guy said “what’s the problem? Is it not coconut milk?” I asked for a refund, never going back here again. Thank god I didn’t ask for food.

Service is long... Need one person taking order on till and one doing hot drinks waited like 10 mins to be served due to person taking orders also having to make hot drinks revisited again on 26/04/19 and same issue occurred this time I dint get.to have a breakfast normally the nice lady would get the guy to make the breakfast if I mentioned that I wanted a breakfast this time.she told.me.to wait as she needs to ring it Through. I also rang tesco customers service he was quite rude told me that how cafe are which is not the case as I've worked in busy cafe with 4 staff, Personally in my opinion after taking part I many hygiene courses, the person handling money should not be doing any catering as money carrys germs... On today's visit I also seen the one preparing food pick up the hash browns out the fryer drainer and put them onto a customers plate. When he should really be using tongs.. I understand people have to wait and there are queues my main issue is that waiting to be long to be served at the till if there is four ppl at the till it should not take over 10/15 minutes to put your order in just because till person has to make numerous amount of hot drinks. food can't be made until the order has been rang through its aslo slightly annoying that the food normally come quicker than the time it takes to actually order it.

Nice burger, only issue is it came with cheese as standard whereas the menu just said beefburger.

My daughter loves the kids breakfast and asks to visit here every weekend. The place is all spic and span, friendly staff, freshly prepared food on order and served to you. Do your shopping in Tesco, park the trolley and barge in for a big brunch. Coffee is great and plenty of food options to choose from. Not pricey and definitely recommended.

Have always found the girls very friendly and helpful. Coffee good also.

Absolutely love this cafe the staff are amazing every time. The prices are great and the food is brilliant. Would highly recommend this place when doing your shopping. As with all Tesco cafes there is a place you can put your trolley.

I have been to the cafe at Tesco, the food takes a long time to arrive, and the cutlery and teapots are always dirty, they could do with a really good clean.

Ordered Pancakes served with maple syrup, bananas and blueberries. I received 2 mini pancakes which re impossible to eat as they are like plastic. No bananas.

One of the best breakfast I've had for a long time, well cook and nice and hot food. Good service from all the staff.

Ate here today with my hubby. Drinks were lovely, as always, but though I'd try something to eat. Had the all day breakfast, price was good, but i felt the food was poor. The bacon & beans were tastless, the sausages were okay and the eggs tasted a bit like fish! Chips were nice though. I don't think i'd eat here again, but will always come back for a drink. Nice and cosy place, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Nice and clean and plenty of space. They also provide free wifi and there are some chairs next to power sockets for you to use.

I've now used the Tesco Cafe half a dozen times over the last few years and have found them very good value for money, good clean basic food and drinks. Sure they are not perfect but that is reflected in the cheaper prices 'you get what you pay for' and their staff have always been welcoming to any feedback from me and always willing to help. They have vegetarian options which is always a plus for me, yes I'm a veggie. To sum up I think they are undiscovered gem of West Brislington perfect for cooked breakfast or a coffee.

They entice you in with a photograph of a plentifully stacked triple-decker toastie stuffed with ham and cheese, then in reality serve you up a meagre, pathetic-looking, virtually non-existent single-decker sandwich containing one slice of the thinnest-cut ham conceivable, and have the cheek to charge you £3.45! (They take the money first, of course - there's no way you'd pay that if you saw it first.) Typical Tesco, I guess I should have known. They should be prosecuted for false advertising.
