Always scampi chips and mushy peas. With a latte. Always busy so be prepared to wait. The kids menu is also good. All prices are very reasonable. Staff can be a little off hand But I think this is as there never seems to be enough of them. Doing so many jobs. Come on Tesco you need more cafe staff

Ordered a bacon roll and a coffee on a recent visit. Everything was spot on and the staff were very friendly.

We visit the cafe most Friday mornings before doing our shopping and we are always greeted by Carly, who always has a smile on her face, is very friendly and her customer service is 100% The breakfasts and coffees are very good. The cafe is very clean and well stocked. Keep up the good work Tesco.

Came in one Sat afternoon and despite well within opening hours they started serving drinks in ‘paper cups’ and NO hot food as they ‘needed time to clean up’ over half an hour before it CLOSES!!! All staff were therefore repeatedly saying this to every customer and MOANING and being quite HOSTILE like they hated being there!!! Especially the more senior lady with short hair! Nasty!! Even in daytime the staff are abrupt and stand moaning when dirty tables need sorting? Shame because food is ok?

The cafe sells proper food that is reasonably priced. I personally, would like softer seats to sit on, the sofa is lovely and usually full up.

Tesco at Clay Cross today were unable to provide food using sliced bread. Apparently bread is shopped for each morning but they can't buy anymore during the day. Therefore I was unable to get my usual beans on toast even though there were countless loaves in the shop. What a stupid situation when the cafe doesn't have access to bread except first thing in the morning.

Dirty tables Had to clean one ourselves which we didn't mind but we shouldn't have too Dirty knives and forks was only put in water and wiped with napkin Very expensive especially £2.95 for a can of coke Was told can't do an all day breakfast which is hilarious when there in a supermarket why call it all day when it isn't Very understaffed and rushed of there feet However food is nice that is a upside to this very poor run cafe

Please save your money! Food is not cooked correct. It’s slimy eggs And cold. 3 times I tried it first time full English,snotty egg and cold. Not even warm! Lady on front is abrupt and rude! Had 2 pieces of toast today and I am elegiac to margarine. I asked for butter she insisted it was butter. 3 people tried it and it definitely wasn’t butter. They don’t care. I just left the toast Tracey windley.

The food is great. However, it's expensive for what it is and they are severely understaffed meaning there are only 2 people run off their feet and the last time we went couldn't cook most of the food and could only make the light bites.

Went in Tesco cafe clay cross I wanted a chip cob they said they don't do them till 1130am which was two hours away so had poached eggs on tost the tost and eggs when it came it was cold the eggs ware the smallest I've ever seen and it tasted awful and it's expensive I won't be going again they can keep there cold food my advice is avoid avoid

Went to tescorps cafe the food wasn't right we had poached egg and toast the was cold the eggs was cold the eggs was like bantee eggs you couldn't cut the toast you couldn't get what we really wonted because they wouldn't cook it till 11.30 all in all very bad avoid avoid avoid

I have always found the staff to be very helpful and cheerful, I do however find the bacon in the breakfast meal rather under cooked, but otherwise OK

They are very helpful, friendly and rushed off their feet . Emma made a special effort to make soya drink because she knows her customers. Thanks for your hard work

Today visited tesco shop at clay cross and found the disabled toilets filthy with urine on the floor, no paper in the toilets no soap or hand cleaner. The shop was not overly busy but queues at the 4 tills that were manned were 6 trolleys long. Staff milling about but no one making any attempts to open more tills. Trolleys all over the car park not collected. There appeared to be a total lack of interest by the staff with many shelves especially the freezers empty, all in all a very bad experience.

called in yesterday for a meal, service was great as it always is, Jo and Jay are two nice ladies.

I bought a take out cup of tea. Tea drank on the premises is £1.70 but the girl serving added 10p to my bill with no explanation! So, apparently, it costs more to takeaway?! Almost double the cost of Morrisons cafe.

This is the 3rd time I have visited the cafe with my elderly father in the last 4 weeks. All the staff are cheerful, nothing is too much trouble for them. Dad is disabled and the staff go out of their way to make sure any adjustments that he needs are made. On each of these visits the food has arrived quickly, tasted lovely and I think is good value for money. I would highly recommend.

Positives - food was served quick. Food was hot and tasted ok. Restaurant was clean and condiments / cutlery /napkins were well stocked. Negatives - staff member handled raw eggs while stood in front of a huge sign saying "wash hands after handling raw eggs" he didnt wash his hands, and just wiped his fingers on a tissue, grabbed a plate of cooked food and took it to a customer. Food hygiene is important, Tesco.

Called into the cafe for a quick drink and snack. Very limited food so opted for a sausage sandwich on bloomer bread. Tesco’s idea of bloomer bread is two slices of ordinary sliced bread! The two sausages were dried out and tasteless. The coffee was ok but definitely wouldn’t eat here again

Only have a coffee but is always a good cup, and is very clean. Lovely staff.

Well what can I say? It was a joke.....disinterested staff serving luke warm food. Should have taken a pic of my so called breakfast.......anyway took my reciept to the service desk and got a refund. "Every little helps"
