Great customer service; forgot to order chips & someone rang to check in with me, ended up paying separately when the delivery arrived. Great quality too, will definitely order again.

When you just fancy a nice bag of chips with loads of salt and vinegar they serve you a bag of chip scratchings....absolutely poor quality not worth a visit as a chippy's signature dish is fish and chips the chips are horrible

even though there was a bit of confusion with the order, they sorted it out quickly and delivered what I ordered... beautiful food in the end

Fish and chips came and was undercooked.. clearly in a rush and took them out too early.. batter and chips nearly white... maybe they have changed whose coooking the stuff but whatever not good. On the other meal not enough salad... these guys need to remember the price they are charging for this stuff..

I ordered fish & chips for tea last night. They were good. Opened the still-sealed box containing cheesecake today, ate half of it, then noticed "movement". It was an earwig on a mission. Needless to say, I won't be ordering again!

would recomemd only putting on the pictures what your ordering, a picture with fish and chips and sauce you'd think you'd be getting everything not just fish, food was lovely just false advertised.

only half a fish received on one of them and was sent 2 mixed meat and chips when orderd one and donner meat and chips.

Shocking I live in a flat and opened the communal door but the driver refused to come in. I went down and said when the buzzer goes it is open with which he said we don’t bring food up it’s not my job it’s yours. He was also rude to my 7 year old son. I told him I would report him and he said go ahead nothing will be done. At least he was right about one thing I spoke to the shop and said I deserve a refund and they ignored me and just said sorry needless to say I will NEVER be ordering from here again plus our food is cold

The WORST take away I have ever had. Totally inedible chicken which had been fried and re-fried a number of times resulting in burnt, greasy, fowl tasting chicken and a chicken burger that was the complete opposite and actually pink in the middle. Had to throw it all away. Partners pizza was nice, and the chips were too; but would never order from here again!!

This is the first time we've ordered from this place, but I don't think it will be the last. The portions were nice and big and a large portion of chips was easily enough for two of us to share. I added a not to ask if we could also have some scraps and those came too. Everything was so tasty! The fish was lovely and white and beautifully flaky. If you're reading reviews before deciding where to order from, go with Popeyes 2 - you can't go far wrong!

Great food always quick delivery and always correct order

Cod not cooked it was a small cod not a large had to microwave cod rest of order ok ,I will never order cod again from here this has happened three times in the past year

I ordered the mixed chicken and lamb done and a chicken piece. my partner had a chicken doner. This morning I'm not well. my partner is fine. Possibly the chicken, chicken wasn't great anyway but the kebabs were really nice. hence the 3 stars.

Food came cold, I ordered a hawaiian pizza and got a cheese pizza that was not cut very well, and I ordered fries on the side, which they also forgot, when I have takeout, I always order from this place so it's annoying to see it come out like this.

Used popeyes for the first time tonight and will not go again EVER! Fish was over cooked and batter soggy,chip’s weren’t any better.They were undercooked and not nice,mushy peas had a unpleasant after taste.Most of the meal went in the bin,so £12.50 wasted

ordered fish and chips came with approximately 7 chips and what came were under cooks absolutely shocking

8.50 for this ? About 6 chips 🤔 really poor !

Stated on the menu that when spending £25 or more a free garlic bread is issued! We have placed an order for £48 and received no garlic bread... May seem petty, but when rung to question this they were very rude!!!

The food was very poor the chips was not cooked give use the wrong chicken my partner had a doner meat with chips is. Cold and made my partner sick the pie I had was hard I would never have the food again from popeye’s please do not get your food from popeye’s it make you ill

Awful today, can't fault their fish n chips but ordered mixed kebab today n sent my teenage son, they sent him back with a box 3/4 of lettuce, two pieces of cucumber, 19 chips, n yes I counted them , seven pieces of chicken n , yes I counted eight bits of dried kebab meat. Disgusting! N I'm surprised because usually they're ok. It's cost me 14 pounds today, ain't ever going back now, twice now they done this Wen I've sent my son to collect. Thrice? Never gonna happen again. I foned them and they put fone down laughing.

After waiting for an hour and 20 minutes after firstly being told 40 mins wait, then when we rang at 55 minutes to say we were still waiting finally got our order. Well he must have been driving around for the 40 extra minutes as all the food was cold, the fries were hard. Only thing worth enjoying were the cans of drink, needless to say we will not be using popeyes again😡

Absolutely disgusted ordered food for my friend whilst I’m on FaceTime the delivery driver tried to kiss her and she’s now in tears!!!!! This is absolutely disgusting she’s crying her eyes out.

Horrible! 🤮 Gave me food poisoning made me ill for a week! And I also found a hair in my food 🤢 Also they laughed at my autistic friend when he was making noises and kept whispering about him!

When it's good it's good but to often you find yourself disappointed.... main problem is being served old food... food cooked long before they open, then been sold to you. Food dry, burnt and tasteless. How can something so dry come in bag soaked in grease. Been ordering from here now a long time now.. but this is it. I'm leaving. Goodbye

Never had an issue here food is great & service is better no problem with swapping out things I'm allergic to and changing pizza bases. Staff always friendly and polite 100% the only takeaway in the area I will use.

Previously had great service but food arrived on most recent order was cold, I called to complain and they said “discount on next order!” No offer to replace current order as they refused!

Food is great but service is even better! We have recently moved to the area and tried a few takeaway outlets and found this one to be fab! My husband asked i send a review because of how ace the staff were with our 2 year old! They gave him a free drink while he waited for his food to be prepared - they didnt need to do that but instead of his attention span being out of control - just great service! Thanks guys!

Thought you finished at 12:30? Not 11:30. So angry. We tried ordering by phone, website and just eat at 11:30 but couldn’t through even though your website says you’re open till 12:30. We promised everyone pizza and after a whole day at a wedding, we’ve now got a load of friends that are very grumpy and incredibly hungry. Thanks for that 👍🏻

Placed an order, didn’t get what I ordered and was told a replacement was on its way. Called half an hour later after everyone had eaten to find out the man on the phone didn’t send me a replacement because he didn’t know what I ordered even though I told him 4 times. Maybe get some staff who know what they’re doing. No offer of money back or anything. Phenomenal customer service.

Had the BBQ meat pizza and was well impressed, crust and base tasted really nice and was soft / fresh. Will be trying a few more pizza's from there.

The food can be a bit hit and miss. Swear they reheat the chips left from lunchtime!

Chips were cold and the oil they fried them in was rancid (off). Sadly gone downhill recently.

We usually order from popeyes but today the pizza and garlic bread was fabulous. The bases were soft and very moorish. Keep it up Popeyes. 👍

I was a good customer but everything I have ordered recently has been burnt. I rang and explained but they didn't care less. I said I would not order anything else again from them.

Took an hour and a half delivery.I understand they were busy but.... When the food came half of it was luke warm and not very nice at all.The only thing that was nice was a fish.Had to leave burgers as the buns were slimey with the wet cabbage and onion.The tower burger came as a chicken burger.Not a good experience.They gave us a free garlic bread but it was cold.

Went to place an order, to be told we must pay a delivery charge. We live under 4 miles away (3.8 miles). Staff was rude and said we lived over 4 miles, even though Google says 3.8 and we have tested the distance ourselves, and a driver even agreed we was under. We shall not be using Popeyes again, even after coming here for years!

Bad customer service when complained about the quality of the food. Usually very good chicken shish kebab, except on a Saturday when they seem to run out of chicken! As regular weekly customers we expected better. Rude staff member when rang up, put the phone down on us twice. Keep away from here.

Popped in for a fish and chip tea tonight. First time at Popeyes 2 in Eckington. Cod and small chips - cod lovely and fleshy, not too much batter and freshly cooked. Chips, small??? A huge plateful. From potatoes too! Not oven chips. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Ordered food through their online service, left notes at the bottom, both notes were ignored, notes were ‘please can the curry sauce be separate from the mini fish special, and can the free item be a bottle of pop’. The rissole I ordered was burnt as were the onion rings. The fish in the mini fish and chips special was dry as a bone and very tough. I have had food from here before and it’s been lovely, but last few times it has got worse and tonight has been very poor. Won’t be using again.

Ordered Cod chips and peas, it was atrocious. The batter was like cardboard the fish was dry and inedible, the chips were ok just and the peas were a ridiculous colour. Phoned to complain. Will go back to using the Admiral in future

Awful. The pizza order was wrong, and what they delivered was squashed, with more topping stuck to the underside of the box than the actual base. Cheese on the replacement was barely cooked, will take my custom elsewhere next time!

Ordered two large pizzas and burger meal in the store, very disappointed with the customer services and the food quality, both pizzas had hardly any meat on them and they were tasteless, my burger meal I asked fries with it, but they put chunky chips instead, spend over £20 didn’t get any coke or garlic bread freebies. This place used to be my favorite pizza shop, but unfortunately I am not gonna order anymore in the future. There are more than 5 pizzas shops in Eckington, I’m sure I can find somewhere better than this place.

Fish was disgusting, chips hard & cold ,& the gravy was so thick it was like jelly,, steak& kidney pie was full of fat ,,just disgusting won't be going back, waste of money.

Gave them a second chance , but seems they can't cook chips, Ones bought for a second time were also uncooked and hard again. No third chance. Wasted too much money.

Ordered two special kebabs, one had items missing, the second was appalling in size (especially for over £6) phoned to offer feedback to be told I was wrong and the delivery was all correct. Avoid!!!
