Tesco Cafe in East Riding of Yorkshire

Breakfast value for money, but unfortunately on the last three occasions the only hot item on the plate was the fried egg and the rest was cold and greasey

First time visiting and plenty of food choices so I don't have to stick with sandwiches. They even have toddler friendly menu which is amazing. Tried the Shashuka styled egg, not Morrocan taste but the spices does warms me up and tastes great.

Ordered plain jacket potato 21.11.24 lunchtime. Potato was like warm also grey in colour. Returned order and spoke to manager who agreed replaced order for another potato which was notas bad as first but still not edible she agreed and said I will get you another I asked for my money back which I received no apology just placed on the table

Went with my daughter for a standard breakfast and jacket potato. Great value for money compared to most of Beverley’s eateries. Very clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. My daughter can’t wait to return.

Had lunch here a few times since working in Beverley, probably the closest cafe to the office. The menu is simple with decent food, it’s nothing to write home about; it just does the job and is quite pleasant. The cafe itself is spacious and airy, it can be quite noisy. The staff have always been welcoming and pleasant; they are also very efficient. It can take a while for old plates and cups to be cleared from tables that have been vacated but never had an issue finding a seat when wanting to eat in. Free Wi-Fi available and no steps into the cafe so should be fine for pushchairs/wheelchairs etc. Based on my experiences I think you could do a lot worse.

Lovely cafe, light and modern look, great food selection - not just your traditional English breakfasts etc but other nice options such as shakshuka style eggs for example. Also love the way they put the calories next to each item for us weight conscious folk. Only downside is when it is busy the waiting times can be a bit long.

I visited Tesco Cafe in Beverly today. Had coffee latte, and was served by Amanda, who went above and beyond in showing the best customer service.

The cafe is very slow, like they aren’t prepared for the high flow of customers. Most simply meals take about 30 minutes to get prepared, so it’s not suitable for someone who is on a work lunch break. The staff members also crawl most of the time and give the impression that a younger member of staff could do their work a lot faster .

Was nice to sit and have some cake after shopping. My partner and I went later on, about 3pm, and it was quieter and plenty of seats.

Staff are rude and scruffy. Portion sizes are tiny. Food is of awful quality. Teenagers are treat awfully there and hurried along as fast as possible for no reason. Strongly do not recommend- especially if you are young.

I stood by the hot food counter, decided what I wanted to order and waited, and waited and waited. Several people bypassed me with cakes and sandwiches to the till and order their drinks and still I waited. I could see at least three members of staff in the back chatting away but still not one came round to serve me. Go elsewhere, I’m ashamed to say this as I once worked at a far larger Tesco store and can see that if this cafe was run correctly and more professionally it would achieve much better reviews and happier customers. Such a waste as in a great location. Won’t bother going back thank you!

Called in to have breakfast and was met with sullen, scruffy-looking woman on till who was almost too busy scratching her hair to serve me! I ordered the normal breakfast as I was told I couldn't do the selection option. When it arrived, with a gruff, 'here's your breakfast' it was served on a cold plate and apart from the egg, was luke-warm. Will not be going back!

So working in beverley this last week decided to go here for breakfast and was a big mistake, let's start with the staff rude arrogant. One of my colleagues asked for a sausage and egg sandwich so got brought a bacon sandwich so staff felt like it was too much effort to get the order right! The big breakfast was cold, the bacon couldn't cut with the knives provided the black pudding was dry the only saving grace was the sausages, the eggs where under cooked and very snotty. We will not be returning at all, they need to find staff who want to be there and not see it as inconvenience to actually do their job

Popped to the cafe after picking up and few bits and waited for husband to collect me. No staff serving, so had to call through to the back before I could order. Selected a latte and sat and enjoyed it. Nicely made, piping hot and nicely presented. Plenty of people using the cafe, and food looked nice, so must be popular

OKAY food, but no wow factor. Easy access to the toilets. Had the breakfast a couple of times during the week when less busy. Prefer to eat elsewhere now.

Love this place friendly staff and can get everything I need
