Tesco Cafe in Breckland

Food pretty good for Tesco cafe. However, I was told that food was coming through quickly even though it was busy and was waiting for 1/2 hour. Had to take food away in the end because my daughter had to go to work. Not blaming kitchen staff as they then delivered in 2 minutes once they knew. Pity there was little communication between till staff, servers and kitchen.

The chef Stewart is amazing at delivering hot food. Much better than previous experiences.

Very pleased with the chef Stewart who always delivers perfect food even when I need specific changes/accommodations. He is a great asset to the team at Tesco Thetford cafe

We go there once a week before we do the big shop. Food is great reasonable prices no all the staff, nice menu, nice place to eat always clean and tidy.

Hi we had are breakfast this morning and we were very disappointed with the overall experience will not eat in their again we shop at tesco Thetford Weeley restaurant very over priced

The cutlery is stored in metal containers beside the till and the cashier has to lift the forks out by the tines to put them on the tray, so the part that goes in the food and in my mouth is directly handled by someone who is also handling cash. Not particularly hygienic. Both knives also had dried-on food on them. Fortunately we had ham and cheese toasties so didn't need to use the cutlery. It's £1.95 for a can of Coke, which seems a bit pricey. The toastie was ok, but basic hygiene standards seem to have been forgotten.

Crispy chips and chicken wrap, hot and delicious 😋. Staff friendly and cheerful 😊. Thank you.

Coffee never seems to served piping hot only warm. Food of the usually standard for this type of establishment.

Place says breakfast is served all day. Online says it's open until 6. Went in at 5pm and waited 10 minutes at the counter just to buy a coffee. No one came out. I assumed they were just understaffed or busy in the kitchen. Then gave up and bought a cold latte and attempted to sit down on their alleged comfy chairs which had some mystery stains on. I was then asked to leave by the cleaner quite abruptly.

Good the chairs are very very very very dirty and need steam clean and all the bits down the side of them taken out . Good food good staff good price . May won’t to varnish so of the wood

Had fish and chips with mushy peas. Food quality and quantity truly excellent for the price. Service at order was slow but only one person there and she was flat out. Surroundings pleasant and drinks, hot chocolate and plum winter special, we're lovely. Amazing value for money with the fish, chips and peas at £6.50.

Lovely coffee and friendly staff, always a cheery service and the cakes are very nice and worth trying

Best coffee I've had for a long time in a cafe - I actually had 2 which I never do. I had a lovely halloumi & avocado muffin - the relish on it was seriously good. Very pleasantly surprised. Very clean and staff friendly.

I just wanted to leave this review to compliment the staff in the cafe, we often pop in on a weekend for a coffee and it is always a pleasant experience. I feel bad as I don't know his name however the older gent who often works Saturday mornings is always so friendly and welcoming it really does make a difference his attitude is amazing. And he always makes a banging coffee. Thank you 👌

Great cafe, nice menu and lovely food. Highly recommend. A shout out has to go to Chris who served us, she was quite possibly one of the friendliest members of Tesco staff I've met.

Since it has been refurbished with new decor, it’s definitely much improved. I find the menu choices better and the staff are friendly too. I enjoy coming here now.

We stopped here for a light lunch and found everything to be great. Friendly staff, very good cleaning protocols and socially distanced tables. Would go again

We arrived at the cafe just after 3 While we were looking at the menu a staff member told us they weren’t serving any hot food as they closed at 3.30.If they advertise they are open till 3.30 on a Sunday then surely they should stop serving at 3.30?

Have tried to use this several times but find it very poor on each occasion. Food is poor and tables not always very clean. OK for a quick coffee but would not recommend. Sloppy service.

We usually stop for coffee when shopping here. There's also a good selection of snacks, from cakes to mini-meals. The coffee is always nice. It does get busy so be prepared for a queue at lunchtimes. Space is tight so we try not to bring our trolley in. Tables aren't as clean as they used to be. And the drinks menu has changed so it's not clear what size to ask for. I ordered a "regular", was charged for a "large" and billed for a "medium". Confused? Me too! Even the assistant couldn't explain when asked.

Good experience staff efficient and pleasant

Unorganized cafe staff. Takes some time to get served by a girl who seems to be new and receiving no help from the others. The toasts were soaked in grease, no taste of bread just oil. Despite that coffee tasted really good.
