Tesco Cafe in Pembrokeshire

Absolutely shocking, would never go again, staff are like zombies, food is terrible, took 40 minutes for 1 small breakfast to arrive in a cafe with about 10 people in, no apology... just chucked on the table!!! The microwaved poached eggs were harder than my sausage at 7am!!!! 1 piece of toast for 4 eggs, and the staff there couldn't care less!! Do not waste ya time going here... I would rather slam my sack in the car door than go back here..it's that simple!!! Prices are also extortionate...£1.95 for a can of coke???? Please think twice about going here and spoiling your day!!!

Waited over 40 minutes, which wasn't the biggest problem. The girl at the counter said there would be a 25 - 30 min wait on food, which I can appreciate when they are busy. So eventually my food came out and went to the wrong table, waited another few minutes and then my very rubbery food came out and was slapped infront of me by the same waitress that originally mixed up the table, don't envy her job but it wasn't my fault to begin with so drop the attitude!! Think the place could do with a revamp, not everyone should be in hospitality I think! Definitely wouldn't recommend

Wasn't expecting haute cuisine, but 45 minutes for two cold rock hard poached eggs. The staff seem totally demotivated plodding around with their chins on there chests not even engaging with customers. The girl on the till didn't even answer my direct question , not a word uttered to the two previous customers or myself. One girl with blue hair, seems to be the only one to take any sort of pride or have any structure to her work. No condoments in the dispenser, girl on til goes to a cupboard and brings back two sachets of pepper for a customer rather than refilling the box. Is anyone actually managing the staff. I can safely say my first and last visit here. Green tea was fine.

Service is ridiculously slow - an average wait of 45 minutes for hot food. They never seem to have anything in stock (e.g. no potatoes and no chicken during our last visit) despite working in a supermarket. Fabric chairs are disgustingly dirty. Food is nice when it eventually arrives.

We had a coffee and big breakfast today. The coffee was really not nice with an odd taste. We queued to order for about 20 mins then after ordering the breakfast ot took 30+mins to come out. It was OK but not that good. They had very few staff and the place just seems to be lacking in customer service and any pride in their delivery. Sorry but I won't be coming again! It actually put me off shopping in the store too!

Our breakfasts took 40 + minutes to arrive. When I asked if we could have a fresh pot of tea because it had gone cold, the manager said the lead time for breakfast was 25 minutes and that they were freshly cooked. I pointed out we had been waiting more than 40 minutes, and had we been told it was going to take that long, we would have asked for the tea to come with the meal. The elements of the meal were clearly not freshly cooked. The fried egg was hard, the baked beans were over cooked and dried up, the hash browns were hard and dry. The large breakfast should have come with 2 rounds of toast but we only got one slice cut in half and finally the bacon was bitty and very thin. The manageress’ attitude was offhand at best, and she practically threw the tea at us when she brought it over leaving us with four tea pots on a small table intended for two people.

An unforgettable and never to be repeated experience. My wife ordered a brioche bun with bacon and tomato, what she received was that, plus unwanted and unordered cheese slice and pickle. the cheese was the "plastic" variety and had started to melt so was difficult to scrape off. I had standard breakfast which was edible, but only just. The meal wasn't expensive but it also wasn't good.

The website information states that the cafe is open until 6pm. We arrived just before 5pm, on Monday 25th September( en route to a twilight meeting). When giving an order for hot food, I was told by the young lady on the counter that hot food was not available, as they were cleaning ready to close at 5.30pm. When I mentioned that the website stated that the cafe was open until 6pm, the young lady rolled her eyes and repeated that they close at 5.30pm. When asked what food was available, she disappeared to acquire the information: With an obvious lack of interest, or enthusiasm, we were eventually offered a small choice of fillings in a panini or baguette. We chose to take our custom elsewhere. I wish I could include photos of the eye rolling response!

Absolutely horrific! Ordered 3 breakfasts. Had to pay extra to make them a suitable size. £1.25 for a rasher of bacon! When they arrived they were missing the eggs completely and what was ordered was cold and frankly disgusting. Sausages were like rubber and the beans had a horrible skin on them. I demanded a refund and we left. I will never eat here again and advise anyone reading this to avoid at all costs!

Not bad food.. cans of coke like £2 odd. Probably the only thing that I had to moan about. Staff always helpful etc. Breakfast good.

Found the breakfasts a little small .

Margarine instead of butter, instantly tasted cheap, gross infact. Then the sausage that tasted pretty grim, texture was not pleasant also. Girl serving struggled to mutter two words, it seemed that much of an effort for her? Overall, what could have been a fairly ok breakfast spoilt by cheap sausage and awful margarine instead of butter. Server needs to cheer up also 😉. Don't think I will be back in a hurry.

Myself and my wife live in Aberporth but we shop in Tesco's haverfordwest we have done for a while now and we always have lunch in the cafe, I would just like to make a suggestion being there's no suggestion box, this is for the cafe manager please can you put soup on the menu nothing wrong with the cafe it is a great place to eat the staff are Always friendly and the cafe is always very clean but it would be nice to have more choices. Usually great but today def not customer friendly! Waited a while for chips wife finished her food so asked at counter where chips were. After checking was told I hadn't ordered them. I'd only told assistant at least twice, instead of an apology I had two young women both telling me repeatedly I hadn't. Obviously the one taking the order hadn't entered it in the Till. If I go again I'll ask them to repeat order before paying!

Staff in Dot Com and On Pharmacy, really lovely and friendly. Managers in Dot Com always willing to help. Couple of friendly faces on checkouts too. Very nice Store. Highly recommend a visit.

Getting peckish or hungry whilst shopping is not the best idea but luckily Tesco has a half decent cafe. Latte's a life saver when you need a breather.

Instead of coffee you get here some black hot dink without any taste.

Unfortunately the food is not very nice here. Usually stood for a long time. Also they stop serving way before they are due to. Cutlery is filthy and so is the cafe itself times. The staff though are brilliant and lovely ladies. Can't fault their lovely attitudes. Understaffed maybe?

If I wanted cold food I would have bought a sandwich, service was a joke if you can't manage then get staff who can... Piss poor

Just called in for a coffee not that busy but found it hard to find a really clean table some of them were filthy.

Budget, basic hot food served by helpful, long-serving staff. If you have to use a walking aid, or struggling wth pram, they'll usually bring at least your hot drinks / coffee to your table. Can get very busy, so avoid peak times if you can or be prepared to queue. Hot food to table times usually shorter than other local supermarket(s).

Tesco's cafe offers a good variety of nice cheap food, including hot meals.

i was in the area with my daughter for a gymnastic competition ,,,,so we decided to try the cafe in tesco for a meal ,,,,,we were told to sit down and the meal would arrive , ,,we went to get our cutlery and soon changed our mind , there was bits of old food still on the forks ,, every table in the place was dirty with food and liquid still on them ,,,,,no plates or trays on the tables , so the staff had removed them ,,,but the tables were disgusting ,,,,food all over the floor ,,,,,,,i tried to have a chat with the manageress about this ,,,,but she was very rude and did not care in the slightest about the hygiene problem ,,,,,,she just said that i was lucky i got served at all as they were busy ,,,and turned her back on me ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, well tesco what have you got to say about this ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hygiene problem

Always had tasty food here, it's basic but tasty and great for a quick bite when shopping , the breakfast s are our favourite x
