Tesco Cafe in Allerdale

Stale teacakes one day, stale hot cross bun the next( after we had mentioned the teacakes of the previous day to blank looks). Seems a common problem.now, no one's job to check stuff is fresh. I expect it will be a Costa franchise any day now.

The food is always good at o complaints with this I really do have issue visiting Saturday 21st and Saturday 28th told both timesthey could not make toffee Apple frappe as they have no ice. Week one I let this go, this Saturday I wanted to know why they do no go into the store to stock up on ice and have the really not served any seasonal drinks because they cannot be bothered to collect ice from the store Ridiculous

Nice coffee and friendly service, however the food!?! As the cafe were out of several lunch options, I ended up with a Cheese and Ham Panini at £4.50 ... that was it a semi toasted panini with sparse cheese and ham on a plate... no side salad, no chutney, no love!!

Staying in the new travel lodge we chose to eat breakfast here twice during our stay, part of eat out to help out ,can't go wrong for two breakfasts & drinks for just over £6. food was hot tasty, staff were friendly felt covid safe whilst there.
