Still waiting for food after 25 mins. People have arrived after us and been served. Not good enough and not what I expect from Tesco.

One of the best superstore cafes we have used. Friendly staff, prompt service and eggs done just right.

Very friendly, great staff. Always welcoming and helpful. The food is tasty, quick and hot. Love there cappuccinos and cake. The cafe is spotless, clean and tidy. Nice and warm on these cold wintery days. Plus I can plug my phone to charge and browse the Internet in comfortable surroundings while enjoying the food and drink.

Im not one for moaning about how long food takes as long as its within certain 15-20 mins. At this cafe was around 15 mins but a little cold but edible. I did enjoy it but i think this place needs a few more staff. Food coming out looks ok. No as bed as some reviews would make you believe.

As supermarket cafes go, Tesco must be rated as one of the best, following some fabulous updates and furnishings, plus a winning range of drinks and meals.

So basically, my kids walked in with a subway and a KFC and instantly a lady starting to shout at my own kids telling them that they are not allowed to eat any food not from the cafe. Fair enough I respect the rules however she could of politely asked me before continuing to upset my children. We sat down after our unpleasant arrival and the table was disgusting. The chairs had crumbed and dust and the floor was covered, there was no staff other than the kitchen staff and 3 on the counters, none of them could be bothered to clean the mess when we asked. The food arrived quickly which was good however expected to make the visit good. The standard of the food is ok and they have a large variety of kids food but they do not serve salad with jacket potatoes instead you have to buy a portion for £3.45.

Notices were put on the table when it was not ready to be used again. The seats and tables were sanitised between each customer who sat there. Really Impressed with this Tesco.

We had good service, great food and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere. We loved it. It is within walking distance of the Redwings Lodge and they definitely make the best salted caramel cheesecake in the world.

We went for breakfast and it was really rubbish. I ordered eggs Benedict. What I got was a bap (not a toasted muffin) cut in half with a piece of bacon on each side. On half I got an overcooked egg, on the other side all I got was boiled egg white with no yolk. To try and cover it all up, hollandaise sauce was slathered all over the place. We ordered kids toast with Nutella. Weirdly the toast came with margarine on and then a pot of Nutella as well. My husband ordered the full English. Super greasy and bits burnt. All in all, won’t be going back and was absolutely not worth the money. Would avoid like the plague!

A solid 3.5, but there is no ambience and found it to be really pricey. We came in early on a Friday and the place was empty. The heaters were all off and the restaurant was quite cold Inside, we even had to wear our jackets for a while. There is little to no ambience, though the tablets are nicely set, there are makeshift walls or curtains blocking certain areas of the restaurant. The menu is extensive and had a lot of options, veggie and non veggie but it was REALLY pricey for what it was. We got two starters and they were both very small for £5 each, the main courses didn't come with Naan or rice, and each rice portion is super tiny for almost £3.5 . My Indian relatives would be in revolt if they ever saw the little amount of rice for that much. The food was nicely seasoned, though I missed some fresh coriander or lime. The service was extremely friendly and the highlight of the visit but with these prices I would not recommend it. There are many other options out there with a MUCH better value.
