Tenby's Ice Cream in Pembrokeshire

Ice cream was nice, not great quality for the expense of it. Staff friendliness was poor and unwelcoming.

The product is overpriced for what it offers. Despite the high cost, the quality is disappointingly low, making it poor value for the money.

Staff not very welcoming, ice cream was poor quality, Kinder Bueno was cheap vanilla with chocolate sauce in it, small scoops.

If only the ice cream was as cold as the welcome! Unfriendly staff, poor quality ice cream and overpriced - the holy trinity of tourist trap awfulness.

Absolutely disgusting, batter was inedible fish was almost non existence. AVOID at all cost.... It cost me £25 for rubbish, not Impressed. Trading Standards ought to pay a visit.

Mixed opinions on this from me - oreo was lovely blue cotton candy was tasteless and not set. Was like eating blue tasteless cream. Shame as it looked a very well presented shop, but £6 for two scoops - wont be back any time soon.

This place is now a fish and chips place known as ‘chips and fry’. Worst fish and chips I’ve ever had. As you can see by the photos the batter was undercooked. 2 fish and chips and 2 kids meals was £45. Avoid.

I visited Tenby a few weeks ago with my boyfriend while camping at Kiln Park, 5th -19th June..... We can highly recommend a vist to Tenby Ice Cream shop, Excellent ice cream choices on offer, Rum and Raisin is the best, Wow the tast is out of this world, along with everything else that is on offer, no one else dose ice cream as good and tasty 😋 as they do

Had two milkshakes today, for myself and my wife. Both were basically milk, with one small scoop of ice cream in there blended. So what we had was frothy milk with a slight taste of the ice cream. Not a thick milk shake one would expect at £4.50 each. Not impressed, and would not recommend for the milk shakes. Will check out the ice cream next time, or maybe go to a different ice cream parlour.

The ice cream was ok, but very expensive for what it was. E.g 6 pounds for two scoops in a waffle cone. Prices weren't displayed. The staff were nice, but the worst thing was the owner. Our dog ate a dog chew that was left in the corner next to a bowl of water on the side. The owner then said it wasn't for her and we should pay for it. This seemed very unreasonable given that it was left out, and given how much we had already paid for the ice-cream. Very discourteous customer service on his part.

I turned up phone in hand ready to pay and no bags on me. There was no sign on the ice cream bar facing the door saying about the £5 minimum and the girl had already made my single scoop ice cream before even telling me that there was a minimum charge. She suggested I buy a drink to make it up, I don’t really like fizzy drinks and have water back at work but just grabbed one to save being awkward. £5.50 it came to! For a small can of Diet Coke and a stingy small scoop of ice cream in a tub. Would be one star if the ice cream wasn’t actually quite nice, even for 2 bites!

Ice cream was just ice cream and nothing special. What's annoying is the NON EXISTENCE OF PRICES ANYWHERE! Very expensive for what you get. Plenty of time to write a big sign stating that CASH IS ACCEPTED. Cash is preferred more like. They also ask cash or card before accepting payment so I'm sure the prices are inflated dependent on payment. As an idea to the tax man. We paid £12 for 3 small ice creams.

Went yesterday, needed to ask about ingredients etc.., the young gentleman was offering to help but the young lady sitting to the side was very unhelpful and rude. I won't be going there again.

There are loads of places to buy ice-creams in Tenby, but for me this place has the most variety. The ice-cream is a little pricy, but to be honest it's so delicious and worth it. I'm pretty sure the last time I was there they had a big selection of vegan ice-cream too. Definitely highly recommend the salted caramel flavour 😋

Lovely selection of ice creams in these stores. Great with customers, especially the kids. The store we were in had an issue with their credit card machine. The gentleman said not to worry and that I could go to another store and pay there. The fact that they place trust like this in their customers is outstanding.

Cute little shop that also provides coffee! It was open around 8.30 ish. The flavours were delicious and looked amazing! They had candy and slushies too! Kids loved it! Staff were friendly!

delicious ice cream . its a rock shop so it has evereything sweet in it . the honeycombe ice cream is delicious. there's a little thing in a statue to keep youre bits in it ideally ideal if you have 2 people because 1 could be ordering and one monitoring it

The staff weren't too friendly and the ice cream is very overpriced but probably expected as it is in the heart of Tenby. The ice cream itself was delicious however!

There was a BLOND hair in my latte machiato ice CREAM (I have BLACK hair) and it was inside it wasn't like blown on top of the ice cream or a thing when I was outside. I wish I had taken a photo to show evidence but it was thrown away. And it was expensive to buy a small ice cream £2.50. I recommend you do not buy ice cream from here (go somewhere where hygiene is like 4 or 5)

Lovely ice cream, i tried the waffle cone with a scoop of Oreo and scoop of Salted Caramel, both were delicious!

Very rude and miserable staff. 2 young girls didn't even acknowledge we were in the empty shop!! One walked off behind the store while other was Mike's away. Eventually got served very expensive ice cream which to be fair was very nice

We went here at least 4 times during our 2 night stay in Tenby! Absolutely loved this ice cream shop. The colors and flavors are amazing! Definitely stop by here - you will be missing out otherwise!

This is place is so unhygienic.. no sanitiser, no masks and the lady serving touched money and then touched the flakes with her bare hands ! I think they will be to blame for a lot of covid cases in the area. They need to be more responsible.

We had takeaway ice creams from Tenby's several times during our holiday. The portions are generous and the flavours delicious. We sat on the bench outside watching the world go by.

Large selection of flavours but a bit overpriced, paid 3.20£ for one scoop. The young girls working there were not very friendly as well, they need to learn some customer service. Also, due to Covid people should be maintaining social distancing (not happening) and there was no alcohol gel.

Decided to get ice creams for the family (2 adults and 1 child)... plenty of choice of flavours to choose from. Nearly fell to the floor when the assistant said it came to £13+... There is no price menu displayed so we should haven't known better...We enjoyed the ice cream but not the price! Sadly Tenby's Ice Cream have the market (own all the shops within Tenby) so they've got you!

We visited one of the Tenby Ice Cream's for an afternoon treat. We were served super quickly and there was such a large choice to choose from. The ice cream was lovely but a little overpriced, but then you'd expect that from a place such as this. We would definitely buy from them again.

Wasn’t very happy with it as the ice cream tasted cheap and was over priced. The people working seemed like they wanted to rush me out and I was the only one in there and the lady taking the money, told me how much it was and just stared the Whole time at my purse! Even while asking cash or card! Felt rather uncomfortable! While she was sorting my ice cream the cone broke which I understand that does happen - she put the cone in another in another cone so I have 2 cones. I’d rather she moved the ice cream into a new cone as while eating the ice cream it was very wobbly! I wanted to try new places but I Defo won’t be going back there!

If you would like overpriced ice cream then go here, if not go three doors down half the price and just as nice. I know it’s a tourist town but five pounds for an ice cream is just ridiculous.

Ice creams were nice but overpriced.My main gripe was that a staff member was putting out the flakes with her bare hands & they were being served to customers with bare hands too, after staff had touched payments. Not very hygienic & should have put on gloves on to serve it. We said no to the flake when offered to us.

If you are in Tenby, and looking for frozen dairy, this is a shop that sells it. They have a decent selection of flavours, but not vast. Card payments taken over £10. It costs about £4 for two scoops, but it's quite big. Pay the extra 50p for the waffle cone, you seem to get more ice cream! Don't be put off by the freaky polar bears in the window, it's relatively normal inside.

We had an ice cream most on our few days stay in Tenby, and this was the best. Great selection ice cream, fresh looking. Lovely staff and very clean well run shop. Give it a go you will not be disappointed. Mike

Very overpriced ice cream but the store is nice

we had a lovely time choosing our flavours here and what made the trip special was the seating just outside to enjoy the ice cream and watch the world go by. I am not sure whether the ice cream is actually made in Tenby but it is definitely yummy regardless.

came to this parlour as it was right on one of the main streets, seemed strange they didn't show any prices.I chose a nice raspberry and a toffee scoop, two scoops in a waffle ice cream came to £4.50 and I think it was an extra 50p for a flake, it was nice and well needed in a heatwave but on the expensive side, it's what it seems for this seaside resort and being in a prime areathey dont take card payments for less than a tenner I think it was.

No price list in shop or did not see one. Double cone plus small choc flake x 2 = £9. Felt ripped off shops like this give a beautiful place like Tenby a bad name. I am sure if they made prices easy to see they would sell very little. Ice Cream nothing special Wafer cone cheap and nasty. Avoid, call in at tesco few doors up the road and buy a wrapped choc Ice Cream you will not feel ripped off either.

The range of flavours is astonishing- you are spoilt for choice. The ice cream is delicious- I will definitely come here again when I’m next in Tenby.

Just treated the Grandkids to a couple of ice creams today, they're HAPPY Customers as usual

No problem with the ice cream but not the most friendliest of welcomes from either the young lad serving or the older lady. It's cash only and she was a little brash about making that point when we didn't spot the A4 sized sign they had up. Won't go back.

It is lovely ice cream but at £4.50 a double topping each it isnt cheap. But we did enjoy it instead of an afters after our meal.

The ice cream itself was alright, but definitely not worth £5 for a waffle cone with 2 scoops! I've never had to pay £15 for 3 ice creams before - had plenty of other ice creams that were just as nice but for a much more reasonable price. The total was a bit of a shock and seemed a bit sneaky, as there were no prices on display. Will definitely be recommending to avoid this place in our guest book at the holiday house.

My girlfriend and I popped in on a Wednesday evening after 7pm. There was still a small queue and it must have been nearly closing time. We both had waffle cones with flakes, I had a macchiato ice cream and my girlfriend had salted caramel. Both were tasty and top quality creamy ice cream. Well worth a visit.

Visited today with my family. I was very impressed with the amount of different flavours. They all looked amazing. The member of staff who served us was happy and friendly. The ice cream was absolutely beautiful. We all really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back for more.

I wouldn’t expect to pay £7.50 for 3 ordinary scoops of ice cream - a bit of a rip off. I don’t think there was a price list up, if there had been one I wouldn’t have gone in.

I thought the ice cream was good but was unable to eat and enjoy the cone as the guy who served me, made the ice cream without wearing gloves while handling cash with the same hands. Unhygienic.

paid £9 for 3 single scoop cones i had salted caramel it was the most amazing salted caramel ice cream id ever tasted it was like fudge almost well worth the money staff were very nice and friendly.

2 double school tubs, 2 single scoop tubs, £14. Not the cheapest but the same caramel I've cream and the lemon sorbet are the best I've tasted. We'll be having another soon.

A tub with 2 scoops cost £4.10 which I wouldn't mind if it was really nice ice cream with interesting flavour. The salted caramel was tasty but the other flavours were nothing special. Mr whippy in a cone with a flake cost £2.50. The service was poor and the place didn't feel that clean. There are some nicer ice cream places nearby (cadwaladers).

Really fancied something other than scooped Ice Cream, tried their Whipped Ice Cream and it was very, very nice. Definitely worth a try.

We decided to try this place again since we really enjoyed it when we visited last year. However, we wish we had not bothered. The girls behind the counter did struggle to understand basic English and got our first order wrong, which wasn’t too much trouble obviously. When we attempted to pay by debit card the server had to basically hang the machine outside the door complaining of ‘bad signal’ which resulted in our card payment being declined twice with no apology from the server whatsoever. After ten minutes with the card machine we just decided to pay by cash to get it over with. We also thought £4.50 for two small scoops of ice cream was quite steep even for the centre of Tenby. All in all, we won’t be coming back here.

I had a waffle cone with 2 scoops of bubblegum ice-cream, which was mixed blue and pink bubblegum ice-cream (see half eaten photo). I’ve had a lot of bubblegum ice-cream all over the UK and this was the best I’ve tasted for flavour and despite it being a hot day, none of it was melted, the consistency was perfect. It was £4.50 but worth every penny. Shame I was only there for a day or I would have been back to try the chocolate and mint flavours, they had a great range available. I will definitely go back!

It's a simple no nonsense nice ice cream shop, friendly staff and very clean appearance, minimal seating but who wants to sit inside eating ice cream. Don't know where they get their stock from but I would recommend trying a scoop or two

Amazing ice cream. The queue was out the door but it went down pretty quick. Amazing selection of flavours and different dishes. Friendly and helpful staff. Seemed genuinely happy to help. Will go there again. They accept card payments too
