Tenby Indoor Market Cafe in Pembrokeshire

We were looking for a quick lunch and something in between the many coffee shops and pub food. As we strolled through the market we noticed the café was popular with locals and busy. We enjoyed the meal and staff were friendly. I can recommend the Welsh lamb cawl pasty, a filling meal, served with chips.

What a hidden gem! Amazing vegan menu too. The food was delicious, the staff so friendly and there was even a treat for the dog! (She was very happy!). Would certainly go again and enjoy a fantastic lunch. Worth a visit!

An absolute little gem of a find for hungry visitors to Tenby. Situated inside the market hall, this unpretentious little cafe offers a good vegan selection and regular cafe offerings. The portions are generous and well-priced, and the food arrives swiftly and hot. I had the dirty fries with a couple of fried eggs thrown on top. Not heart-healthy but just the ticket to fortify me for a rainy day in Wales. I will absolutely be popping back here

Small stall based cafe with 4 tables of 5 in the Tenby Old Market, serving breakfast, brunch, waffles, pancakes, sandwiches, seafood etc etc inc. some nice sounding specials. Vegan and Gluten Free well catered for 👍 We had their breakfasts, rolls and pancakes, that were all fresh and delicious. Very friendly staff and happy to adapt any meal /ingredients as requested. Oh and dogs are allowed too, and ours was very happy with a free sausage too!

Hard to find a cafe that does just simple and wholesome food at reasonable prices, but this is one that could escape notice situated in the rear of the market hall. Lovely lunch and generous mug of tea was most welcome as are the owners of dogs it appears.

What a fantastic find. I'm gluten free and we have a cockapoo puppy so to find somewhere that was gluten free and dog friendly was amazing. The owner was so accomodating and there was plenty of GF options on the menu. I had a gluten free crepe and there was a whole gluten free menu and a sausage and a bowl of water for our dog.

Amazing cafe, beautiful breakfast and very welcoming friendly staff a little gem right in the centre of the market highly recommend and even more of a plus it’s VERY dog friendly my little man was served first with a sausage and dish of fresh water thank you so very much we will 100% return Fabulous place !!!!

Was at Tenby Market for their Christmas pop up shops. What an absolute Gem this cafe is! Fabulous service, great value as the prices are good and the food exceptional. Will go nowhere else when in Tenby that's for sure... delicious and friendly service 😋 👌 thank you!

Popped in to get out of the rain - had an unexpected bonus! Early Christmas bap - two sausages, bacon, turkey, stuffing and cranberry - huge, delicious and a bargain. Great service too, highly recommended!

Excellent lunch today. Ham, eggs and chips gluten free bread and butter and a tea £7.50 each. Would highly recommend this place. Basic fayre but done really well.

Great lunch high standard and cheerful helpfil service

Friendly and low key. No airs and graces sitting in the market hall, but it's authentic and worth supporting. Lamb pasty is full of flavour; the seafood selection was highly rated by the Spanish contingent of our party (and they were comparing to Med-side dining). Visit the friendly butcher while you are there too !

Rude owner, not recommended. Our young children were eating food bought from the cafe when we attempted to eat a sandwich bought elsewhere. She came over abruptly and told us to leave, shoving a sign in my face and upsetting our children. Totally pointless application of a rule showing a lack of empathy - we were paying customers in the middle of a meal.

Best breakfast I've ever had. Staff are fantastic and the prices are brilliant. You won't be disappointed.

The cafe serves a wide range of freshly cooked food using local top quality ingredients, including many seafood dishes. The food on offer is reasonably priced, compared with other venues into Tenby and I would not hesitate to recommended the cafe.

We were walking by the market and smelt lovely bbq flavour so we went in and had pulled pork bbq burger and chips really lovely and fresh thank you

Asked for two latte coffees when the coffee's came back not latte but normal strong coffee with bad taste asked for lattes again could heard staff in the background saying there's always one it made me and my wife very uncomfortable and the attitude of the staff was was bad

Absolutely amazing. The sign says VERY DOG FRIENDLY. And that they are, our puppy was treated to a sausage. Our meal was perfect! Most affordable spot in Tenby! We ordered a crepe, fish fingers chips, all day breakfast and all lovely! Couldn’t recommend more, 10/10 service!

This is a very small market, but very high standard, good range inside, very good butcher and a great cafe also pet food and and a cobblers and new this tear a great little veg stall with a great range of dried food

Visited this establishment on a day trip. Only had coffee which was very nice. Friendly staff. Nice choice of main meals which other customers said was very good. Will visit again next time I am in Tenby.

Why isn’t this place a street food market . It could show what Tenby has to offer all under cover ! . It’s a lovely building and not used to its potential. A street market in Tenby would also be great

The indoor market is situated next to the card factory. We ordered one big breakfast (3 sausages included as standard) & bacon & egg bap, both were excellent (2 eggs on the bap). The breakfast came to around £13 ish (with standard instant coffees included or cappuccino available as extra) Have to accept the fact that people walk by as you are eating but would definitely go back.

So very, very tasty. Cooked fresh in front of me. After a very busy day the owners were shutting up but kindly rustled me up two takeaway dishes which were bloody gorgeous.

Feeling a bit peckish, and after lunch but too early for tea, we decided to try the brekkie from the café at Indoor Market! Very fast service , large size portions and very attentive staff. Lovely clean tables and surrounds, have eaten here before and will do again :)

For a little market it has lots to sell, it has a butchers with lots of choice, jewellery, pet store, cafe. Always clean & tidy.

I wasn't feeling to well so asked the lovely lady behind the counter if I could just have an omelette she was more than happy to oblige and what a wonderful omelette it was. My husband had ham, egg and chips and he said it was all so fresh and amazing value would defiantly return a big thank-you

This place could be amazing but is very tired looking and somewhat run down definitely needs a shot in the arm and a bloody good clean.

This is a lovely Jeweler in Tenby dyfed the staff are so helpful and friendly and they sell really good quality and so reasonable things it’s a place to go and visit have a browse they don’t push you . I just love going in there I warn you I have always bought something you can’t help it .

Lovely breakfast and not dripping in grease, in the old town hall now market. Not many stalls but a butcher that sells the best welsh cheese washed in cider .

Fabulous food. Very reasonable for the size of the portions. Well cooked. We all had medium breakfast and all really enjoyed it. As we travel frequently, I have to say it is the best ‘Market’ breakfast we have ever had!!! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Always call in here for food 3 times a year when on holiday, the staff are fantastic and the food is brilliant. The all day breakfast is fantastic and they always do a sausage for the dog. Brilliant place.

What they call a Medium Breakfast is pretty substantial in my book (special mention for their excellent bacon and black pudding) and includes toast and a large mug of good tea for £6.50. Good for lunch and snacks as well with a constantly changing selection of specials. The only caution is that, if you want an early breakfast you will have to look elsewhere as opening time seems to be a bit elastic - around 9.30am-ish.

We had breakfast there. It was disappointing. Egg on toast was on thin white bread and the egg looked very yellow and sad and had little flavour.
