Visited 25th September 2023. The landlord was very friendly, and the pub was clean, tidy, and welcoming. We had a pint of Guinness and white wine, the Guinness was excellent. This pub is well worth a visit.

Breaking a walk to have a sneaky pint, called into this place as a half way point. Disturbed the bartender (possibly landlord) hoovering. He was happy for us to come in. Dog friendly. Excellent pint of Double Dragon and a coke, with change from a fiver, which is a first on this trip. No food so can't comment, and we were the only people there (it had just opened), but a pleasant welcome and good real pint

I'm a bit confused about all the positive reviews here (indeed we decided to eat here on the basis of the reviews). I don't enjoy writing negative reviews but this was not a food pub at all. We visited on a Sunday. There was no menu and we were told there was only a choice of either roast beef or roast chicken. Nothing else was being served. The meat was ok but the vegetables tasted either over cooked or as if from a frozen bag. The bartender was not particularly friendly or welcoming and he didn't seem happy that we were ordering food at all. Admittedly we had not booked but were asked to come back an hour later despite the pub being fairly empty both when we first arrived and when we came back. The pub itself is pretty run down and not a very nice environment. It wasn't terrible but definitely worse than simply unexceptional.

We had just done a circular walk from Cilgerran Castle, through the wildlife centre and through the Teifi Gorge so, on our return, when we saw that the Cardiff Arms was open, it was like spotting an oasis in the desert. What a lovely cozy tidy bar area, but the outside spaces were even better, loads of room and comfy chairs everywhere, so, room to social distance to your hearts content. I ordered the tuna melt on ciabatta and my partner ordered the dirty hot dog (?) they were both HUGE and delicious. I also had a white wine spritzer which I have to say was the best during a whole week in Pembrokeshire. Lovely pub, super outside areas, delicious food and drinks - what’s not to love? We would 100% return here again.

Wir waren durch ,,Zufall" an einem Sonntag da und haben uns natürlich für den ,,Sunday-Roast" in drei verschiedenen Variationen entschieden. Das war der Hammer und auch noch sehr günstig. Das war allerdings 2017.

We loved the Cardiff Arms. Ideal for an evening drink, staff were friendly as were the locals. We had food the first night and were really impressed with quality and portions. The kids liked the beer garden and it had a really good feel about it. Like Adele's next door ideal if you've been down to the river or thr Castle and want to stop and relax. Highly recommend

Excellent meal, beautifully cooked, good selection of veg and cauliflower/broccoli cheese all served on hot plates in a lovely warm dining room. The quantity of food was more than enough and the service excellent (no long wait between courses), the price was more than competitive with other local venues. The pub caters for children and is an ideal place for a family meal. Thoroughly recommended.

Visited here last August whilst on holiday, we had lush veggie burgers with coleslaw, fries and onion rings. Nice little beer garden for our little one and dog to play. Staff were lovely, the lady gave our boy a choc bar for finishing his dinner, which he was chuffed with! Were hoping to return this week, totally gutted to find out they are closed :’( whyyyy?!

We received a very warm and friendly welcome at this family run pub, opposite Cilgerran Castle. Relatively new ownership and we wish them well. The lunchtime bar food was tasty and good value, and the beer well kept. The fire in the main bar provided a cosy place on a cold day.

Just walking around Tenby. A little hungry. Popped in to this place just on the off chance. Me and the missus. We were made welcome. And great staff. got us two a table. We ordered the steaks for two sharing. O my god. It was the best steaks I've had in the UK. I told the staff I don't no were you getting your beef from. The chief has pride in his food. We're both coming back for sure. And a big thank you.to the staff. Red wine went down well.

This place is never open - I was just sat outside of here at 2.30pm on Friday 13th and it's closed, despite stating 5pm. I've been twice before and it's always shut hours before the times state. You really need to update your opening times to avoid leaving people disappointed and hungry. Really poor.
