We were made to feel very welcome very friendly hosts and excellent food and drinks we stayed at pennybridge farm who recommended the highgate we really enjoyed ourselves would highly recommend stopping if your passing

Lovely pub that is now under new management. This is a go to for me and my friends since it has a pool table, such a nice spacious beer garden and plenty of seating. The inside looks quite modern and tidy. They do a lot of private events and birthday parties that look nice. Definitely worth a visit on the way back from fresh west or stackpole

Food was lovely and good value for money. I went on quiz night, which was good fun. It has been recently taken over by new proprietors, and they are a friendly and professional couple. I had a very warm welcome.

stayed for 3 nights for family gathering very warm welcome from rhi, chris, room was very clean and large, food was reasonably priced and very tasty. very friendly pub restaurant would definitely stay again

Under New Management. Very modern decor. Immaculately clean. Family of 4 with 2 noisy toddlers. We did not book but were found a table promptly. Staff were so friendly and professional throughout our visit. Food arrived very quickly and was delicious. Portion sizes were brilliant. Such a lovely, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting more. Very highly recommend a visit :)

Lovely meal. Home cooked Lamb shank and Lasagne. Good sized portions and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Will return. Nice decor.

A nice country inn and hotel, with a lovely bar and restaurant and friendly staff. 'Staff' being singular. One person at a time. providing us with breakfast. The place is not functioning; no bar, no food in the evening. An empty space. The morning we left it appeared to be a completly empty building. Everywhere was locked up, no staff, no breakfast,The owners car was not there. We loaded the car and drove away; did not see a soul. I expected an explaination, an appology, a refund for the breakfast not provided ... still waiting.

Had a lovely family of 7 dinner, all food well cooked and enjoyed by all, very generous portions.Pub clean and tidy.Friendly staff,nothing too much trouble, will be back soon. only regret forgot to leave a tip. We were here early on a saturday evening (1800hrs) and pub was very quiet.

Although staying in the village, we hadn't been as it's not dog friendly. However, a local service organisation arranged a meeting with us at lunchtime, there instead of in Pembroke to help. It's not people friendly either. Although the door sign said it was open, it wasn't

Came to a meeting there which had been organised, arrived all closed up so not only not dog friendly but not people friendly either.

Very welcoming hosts. We stayed one night but was quite a good experience. English breakfast with vegetarian option, orange juice, milk, cereal available to use. Mattress are not the best but can't fail them. The overall experience and the willingness of the hots to accommodate us was overwhelming.

Staying nearby and popped in for a Sunday afternoon snack and a beer or two 🍻 Lovely place , quiet when we arrived great service and really tasty food

Fantastic food and large portions. We had both the chicken and vegetable curry, chicken for one platter, steak pie, lasagne and fish and chips and it was all fantastic. Will definitely visit again.

drove past here other day and reminded me of my visit a couple of years ago , i have looked at many pubs with view to buy or lease and this one stands out for its cleanliness and well kept decor , foods not bad either . Wish i had leased it when i had the chance

Went here for a meal a few nights ago, the spaghetti bolognese was immaculate and filled me up pretty well. Definitely recommend!

Incredible food and very attentive service. A friendly welcoming atmosphere. Extremely pleased we found this absolute gem of a place.

Breakfast was delicious, room was comfy and staff were friendly. I locked my van keys in my room when checking out and within 5 minutes someone had driven from a local village to help me get back in. Thanks Highgate!

Awful reception no attempt to accommodate our needs very unhelpful which was just a table for two with a meal we would have eaten in half an hour znd left. Disgraceful customer service

The Highgate Inn accommodated our group of 8 at short notice (4 adults & 4 children) we were served very quickly and the food was fantastic. Great choice for kids and adults, portion size offered great value for money. We were staying near by at Little Dingle and the host recommended the Highgate Inn to us. The food was amazing, freshly cooked and the staff could not be more helpful. They are a credit to the establishment. I would recommend the Highgate Inn as a must to anyone visiting Pembroke, Tenby or nearby. Will be back soon.

Beautiful Sunday lunch from the Highgate. Roast beef with all the trimmings. Absolutely gorgeous. Apple crumble and custard for dessert, which was also lovely. Highly recommended.

Booked a table for a catch up with friends. We were greeted and welcomed by a lovely lady who explained the social distancing procedures etc that were in place. We had food which was amazing and a great price for the portions- huge! Will definitely be visiting again soon. Thank you!

Good: The meals were lovely with homemade chips and an extensive menu suiting fussy and adventurous eaters. The restaurant was clean and there were plenty of tables available.Bad: We waited ages for the waiters to deliver our bill and menus, this was very inconvenient. The waiters also looked generally unhappy to be there and serving us seemed to be an inconvenience. Also, as this is a family restaurant, it was rather noisy.

Went with my wife and friends tonight for our first time and we are very impressed. The food was lovely and I can recommend the bbq chicken. The staff was lovely and the place was very clean. This is a must visit place!

The menu is well varied with something to suit all tastes. Service was excellent and the food was first class, it came out very well presented and piping hot. Would highly recommend👍

Nos quedamos con ganas de probar el Highgate siguiendo una renovación. En caminar en ella parecía bueno en un moderno, madera tipo de camino, pero que no nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos. Nos sentamos a tomar una copa y pronto me di cuenta el diseño creado un entorno ruidoso donde tuvimos que gritarle a otros para tener una conversación. Tengo que decir que todo parece un poco fuera de lugar en el entorno del pueblo y sería más adecuado en la playa en Cornwall, ya que parecen estar tratando de atraer a la.troubke fijo surfista es no hay muchos surfers en Hundleton.

No había un menú, había una junta de especialidades que compuesto de 3 entradas y 1 main ásperas. El menú era entregado por la camarera, muy rápidamente y muy tranquilamente lo que se tradujo en mucho repetición. Finalmente pedimos 5 cordero asado y 3 horno bacalao. Varios minutos más tarde nos informaron sólo había cordero suficiente para una comida, así que 4 carne eran ordenados. Llegaron unos 5 minutos antes del bacalao. La camarera trajo los asados pero no sabía cuál era el cordero. Una de las comidas de bacalao era muy amarga.El postre menú también era leída por la camarera, no digo que ni una vez ella sonrisa desde el momento en que llegamos hasta el momento de la partida.Todavía no sé cómo llegaron a la factura final pero era bastante razonable.El restaurante y los baños eran de un alto nivel de calidad, la comida era normal.

Fui allí para el almuerzo de domingo con la familia, por dentro es muy limpio y luminoso (después de ser reformado). Todo el personal era muy atento, muy bien vestido y educado. Sin embargo no había menús ni ningún precio. Había una junta de creta que indicó algunas "especiales" ( con sus precios) así que tenía una sorpresa cuando fuimos a pagar en el bar. Las camareras tenía las opciones de carnes en sus libros de tomar sus pedidos y era lo mismo cuando ordenes pudding. La comida era muy agradable y también lo era el pudding. Pero estoy seguro que un menú y precios visibles debería ser una grapa en cualquier establecimiento.
