A very big thank you to Gail,Laura,Eilie, Elsie, Kristie and the kitchen,who looked after us,coping admirably with our large family group of twenty.Everyone agreed the food was excellent in presentation,flavour and value.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The children's play area was enjoyed by our Grandchildren.No hesitation in recommending Telford Lodge and we will certainly use this location again for future family gatherings

Busy Sunday lunch , not many staff on duty, carvery veg were bearly warm

Popped in to have a meal after a hospital visit. Food was lovely and served up quickly.

I visited a few weeks ago while visiting family, Bar staff made us feel very welcome, we returned again on Saturday and Gail behind the bar remembered us and all the family's drinks. Food was great, would recommend

Service was slow , and the food was OK . Had to wait nearly half an hour for desert.

Hayden made me feel so welcomed as it was my first time in Kettering I was anxious about visiting however on my first visit he made me feel like a local (like I’ve been coming here for the last decade). Always a bubbly character and provides great customer service. If I was his manager I’d certainly put him on a higher salary goes above and beyond for his customers.

Food is pretty hit and miss, either in how it's cooked or items just not being available, staff are friendly and service is good but they need to update there times, was staying at premier inn for work and there is really nothing else near by and got caught out thinking was open later due to times displayed.

I was served by Meah, who despite being quite robotic to start with, turned out to be an excellent hostess who bought energy and vibrancy to the evening. Ellise and Ellie were great also and I look forward to visiting here again in a couple of months. All 3 are an asset to the Whitbread family who perfectly blended a professional approach with their own personalities. 5 stars.

Went here on 8 September 2024 never again booked in for breakfast food was cold and not nice ☹️☹️☹️

4 of us for breakfast on 8/8/24 arrived at 10 am food was appalling everything was cold if I wanted a cold breakfast I would of had a continental only thing hot was the toast never again

Lovely choice of English breakfast, continental breakfast and fruit/cereals with orange/apple juice or teas and coffee. Place was bright, clean and staff were very friendly we had a lovely time

I didn't have food I just went in for drinks. It needs more staff and better facilities but if you want cheap and cheerful then this is the place.

Went for 2 Sunday roasts plus chicken and ham pie.Pie was tasteless Sunday roast average no mint sauce etc only gravy.I left a fair bit of mine asked for box to take home for our dog( yorkshire and meat, veg (unfortunately we don't do them??)Then we ordered 1 dessert ,1 cocktail.Cocktail looked like ordinary drink with ice no frills for 6.50 expected at least a bit of fruit .Not even in a proper glass.Now the cheesecake was something else....unedible!!! Thick dense and cloggy no taste.All in all don't think we'll go there again

I popped in alone for something to eat around 5.25pm, it wasnt busy so it was a nice and quiet atmosphere. You have to wait to be seated usually however as I was dining for one so the gentleman greeter said I can find anywhere I would like to sit and order at the bar whenever I am ready. He also asked if I have any allergies. I found myself a seat and then looked at the menu, they have a good range of different dishes and drinks on offer, I went to the bar and was served by a woman who had a lovely smile and was very polite and friendly. I ordered a margarita pizza and a glass of archers. The pizza was delicious and a good sized portion. Overall great service, lovely atmosphere and food was satisfactory. Highly recommend visiting here.

The attitude of the staff was appalling and we had to wait 30 minutes for a meal in the restaurant. It was poor quality and we had a bad experience. Will not be going back because my visit was a disaster 🙃

Ate here twice while staying at Premier inn. Cheap and cheerful food. Chicken goujons, nachos and lasagne were very good. Staff were friendly however service seemed a bit chaotic.

It had a soft play for children

Waiting for over an hour for the food, the waitress had to remind us of our order. Food is nothing special.

Had carvery quite tasty but could have been a lot hotter (always a problem with carverys I suppose) others in party had meals off menu hot but very small portions fits with cheap prices

Table booked for 12 people on a Sunday. Carvery wasn’t on. Limited food in the kitchen. So half the orders weren’t available. No one felt the need to inform us prior to booking. Poor atmosphere. Relocated to Kino Lounge and had a great meal. We won’t be back to the Telford. 0/5 if I could give it zero.

Had the scampi and the portion size was tiny for what was paid. Arrived luke warm too. Won’t be back.

Short stay, but an excellent pub

Food and drink very good and food and dessert service very quick.

Food was good n value for money staff were equally as pleasant atmosphere was only good if you brought it with you but that's the same as anywhere I suppose.

Monday 12.05. Asked for fish pie which was the reason we were there,[it was recommended.] was told we do not have that haven't had that for several weeks [ it's still on the online and table menu] Asked for haddock and chips, reply I don't know if we have that I'll go and see. Yes we can manage that. Service quick. The chips were skin on [no choice] they were not good, the fish also skin on very thin the batter was ok. the peas ok. My friend ordered pie chips and peas. The pie was quite good the chips were not, the peas ok. The plate was only two thirds full of food it was lacking something else. Asked for gravy "sorry we don't serve gravy with that dish" Coca Cola £3.05 or £3.50 for unlimited. Musak screeching at times. Staff did their best but were limited by the menu. We will not be back.

Great place for breakfast, positioned excellently for a stay at the Premier Inn or as a stop on the journey. Bottomless tea and coffee perfect and EV charge points on site.

The small girl( sorry never caught your name) and the lad with dark hair both served us on the way in we was met at the door by the small one 😄 she went through the menu, which was all good the lad served our food, burger was ok but my curry was lovely, very tasty and well enjoyed thank you team Kettering we have been here a few times visiting relatives in hospital here we are from Oxfordshire

Best place for a carvery on a Sunday.

The restaurant is a brilliant place to go especially with children due to having an indoor play area & has a good selection of food on the menu

We Was Served by Louise Lovely Lady. Very Helpful. Nothing was to much Trouble for Her. 5 Star Service.

Really good, friendly service here. Especially from Haydyn, Luke and Chris. Always smiling and makes us feel welcome every time. Even know what we like to drink and they work extremely hard under pressure 🥂(Prosecco queen)

We dropped by for some lunch and were told there'd be a 20 minute wait for food because a large party were expected in half an hour's time. Obviously not welcome, so we left. Sorry?!!

I like the Sunday carvery here. Very good for a chain pub.

This restaurant is great for children, parents and the elderly who want the experience of a restaurant meal at slightly lower prices with the facilities of a soft play area inside and a climbing frame with slide outside. The menu for children is excellent value at £5.99 for a starter, mains and dessert. The manageress was very accommodating, helpful and friendly. The building itself needs a complete revamp new carpets furniture and there's a very bad leak above the rear door to the children's outdoor play area that was spilling into the entrance as the fire door wouldn't sit properly. I believe the guttering needs fixing?! (This didn't affect the meal but did affect the carpets that are rotting, leading to an appearance that isn't appealing). Overall the experience for my 7 year old daughter was great. It gave her a pleasant experience on a half term afternoon for the eating out without breaking the bank. Though some areas of the building are in dire need of a revamp.

Gail the member of staff that served me, was really helpful and delivered a great customer service. The atmosphere was nice not to loud and food was delicious.

The atmosphere here was great. In particular Gail was a great host and was very attentive and friendly.

This is a very lovely place for lunch. We had a family lunch here, and there were different options for kids to choose from. It was also affordable, and you get to earn points too as you eat.

Stayed for the night for work and the service from Ellie was absolutely top tier what a class lass

Ellie was absolute class kept us all happy and had a laugh with us all would happily stay again

Our first time here and sadly we won't be back. The service was very good and the staff were helpful and friendly but it was let down by the food. The plates were rather small to begin with. I had turkey & gammon which was lovely but the very small selection of vegetables were not. The cauliflower was in a creamy sauce which was full of lumps of powder, the carrots seemed like old stock and passed their use by date. The stuffing was awful, balls of grainy bits, now the Yorkshire Pudding was nice and a good size. Also sadly the gravy was watery. My partner had the Veggie Carvery and there was not any choice at all for him. They brought to the table, as it wasn't ready, a pretend chicken breast which apparently tasted like rubber. It's a sad state of affairs as it's a lovely looking place with nice staff. But for a Sunday lunchtime the place was not busy with lots of empty tables.

I had a very nice burger, didn't fall apart so that's good. Chicken wings were alright and it's right next to the premier Inn. Enjoyed my food, 4 stars

Quick stop on a journey north. It's cheap and cheerful and ok if you like beige unhealthy food. Probably shouldn't have ordered the sharing platter, which was an assortment of battered and deep fried food. Bar Service was prompt and friendly. Just not healthy or tempting. Not my vibe, maybe it's yours in which case enjoy!

Great meal and friendly atmosphere, Gail went above and beyond, was very friendly and helpful, would highly recommend to friends and family.

Spent 2 weeks in hotel next door for work so ate in the pub a couple of times, food is slightly below average pub grub. Staff are nice I must say but from the Saturday to the Thursday it was cash only and they couldn't give a receipt for goods so for work purposes this was no good so had to travel to town to get money out or go else where which I did most nights.

Brilliant place to go, fun for kids inside and outside. Also allergy friendly which is a big plus for my family.

Disgusting. On Sunday we booked for 16:30 and when I went to order was told that there was no more Carvery although it was advertised as being available to 18:00. Then was told they were only taking cash. We were staying @ the Premier Inn and had pre paid for 4 breakfasts only to find that their was no Chef so it was only 'Continental' not what you need when you've got a 400 mile drive ahead of you.

Look, I get it. It's cheap and cheerful. But this one's awful. Soft play was filthy, my 2 year old found a screw on the floor. Didn't clear away plates even when dessert come out? Weird move. Been to a few brewers fayre, rest are fine. This one... grim.

It’s ok, food is constantly getting hammered so always getting replenished. Not a bad shout for a cheap and cheerful feed 🍽️

A complete disaster of a meal. When it says chips with skin on that is what one expects. Well they couldn't have got them any thinner, I was under the impression that they would have been "Chunky Chips"which would have been far better. It will be quite a while before I go there again

Loved visiting here. I'm from America and my English family said I needed to experience this place. Very happy that I did.

Staff where friendly and the food was filling

Food can be a hidden miss at times sometimes on a Sunday you can get really crispy roast potatoes and other Sundays that's soggy are hard when you bring this two staff's attention unfortunately it's not worth it they do not say anything

Could not be more impressed with a brewers Fayre to be honest. Came in with the Mrs for a bit to eat and a few drinks earlier on today bar tender Haydyn was fantastic, he served us bought the food to us too. It’s like he was juggling everything and couldn’t do enough for us. Keep it up lad you’re doing great. Also a shoutout to Christy she was superb

Food was ok, but I was put off my food.. Some of the members of staff that work here need to work on their personal hygiene. Namely the waitress with red hair. Imagine having your food served by a waitress that is breathing and talking over your food as she is bringing it out and her rotten teeth and breath smelling like a sewer. If we had been sitting by a toilet, would make sense, but unfortunately we were not. It puts people off

Some members of staff ruin the whole experience. Rude and poor personal hygeine. Erin was lovely from start to finish but Ellie desperately needs to work on her customer service and learn what a toothbrush is.

Had a lovely meal here with family tonight. Great service from waiter Hayden too.

Table of 4 of us on Thursday 28 March 2024, evening. We all ordered different meals - they were well cooked, and hot (except the ice-cream obviously). Very enjoyable.

We popped in here for a quick drink before seeing a mate off next door in the crematorium.

Typical brewers fayre food. Main gripe is with the cleanliness. Everywhere is really grubby; filthy armchairs, and the kids play area in particular is disgusting. The floor looked like it hadn't been hoovered in months, dust and god knows what collected around the base of the slide and all the play machines. The whole place needs a deep clean, and decent cleaners. Only came here so we could let the kids have a play whilst we had a quick drink and a chat. Won't be coming back.

Had a really great experience here today and our server Ellie was fantastic. She was really helpful and had a very positive attitude. The food was really tasty and just all round great.
