ordered 2 small cod & chips, they were huge, but lovely. But too much for us though...my cat enjoyed some fish.

Delivery was abit long but it's pay day so understandable however everything is cold and in enable and after an hour's wait that is not ok. Really disappointed

Arrived early, perfectly cooked food as always.

pizzas were amazing as always however the chips and donor meat were very disappointing tonight. chips could have been cooked longer and in cleaner oil as so many black bits all over them and the donor meat was that greasy it was as though it was the bottom of the pan load

I would give more stars as most the time this is a nice little place to order food but unfortunately was left disappointed tonight as I ordered a pepperoni pizza and was met with a pizza that only has 3 slices of pepperoni on it. The cheese and pepperoni was dry and rock hard and I can't bring myself to take another bite. 🥲 Edited: so we called up to complain and was offered a new pizza so me and my mum accepted and headed over. When I arrived I was asked if we brought the other pizza and I told them that we weren't asked to, the lady at the counter proceeded to gaslight me in a passive agressive damener telling me that she did ask even tho she never did. And she handed the new pizza to me anyway. I told her I took a picture and she didn't want to see it. They have lost a customer! Very disappointed in the service I was given !

Time scheduled on just eat should get updated if order is running late.. We had do wait for 1hr originally but then it took 1hr and 30minutes.. Food was hot just very late and no updates.

Had the mixed kebab 3 times in a row now it always nice to share with my partner x

Not sure who puts the estimated times on the iust eat app - but ordered with the app saying 40-50mins. Ordered at 8 - said delivery around 9. 9.20 still nothing and moved to 9.35. Finally arrived at 9.45. Not what you want. Food was good - but shocking wait. Wouldnt be planning it again unless I go collect. Beginning to understand that the times on just eat app are way off

Food was over an hour late and only just warm.

After being a very good customer to these guys for years. I will no longer use them. Tonight I waited 2 hours for my food and when I rung up to sort this out I couldn't get a word in and was just told to calm down. Bare in mind I wasn't even ranting or nothing I barely got a chance to speak...I've used Barton chippy for ages and spent alot of money with them, the customer service I received was disgusting. So I hope u find this review well Barton chippy. I'll be making sure my family members no longer use u either. So next time to struggle to make 2 burgers and chips on a Wednesday and make someone wait 2 hours maybe be a bit better when dealing with the situation 👍

Wonderful food, slightly soggy due to delivery time. The coating on the chicken wings was really nice!

Sorry it was nearly cold. Fish batter was horrible and hard. Not edible! Fish itself was ok.

The food was delicious as usual but I had no tartar sauce for my scampi but other than that everything was as it always is delicious!!

This has happened before with Barton Chippy, you specify a time and they ignore it. Our food turned up far too early, when I stated this to the driver he just shrugged his shoulders.

Part of our order was missing had to call restaurant to send then the other food was cold.

As always the food from Barton Chippy was delicious, I still have my spring roll to eat today and enjoy so thanks guys for yet another Friday night treat, you're the best chip shop around us because your food is always piping hot, tasty and all the other chip shops should be worried because in my eyes & Tummy you are 💯!!

No sauce on my kebab yet again why can't they get it right?

AVOID. Badly cooked, generic takeaway food. prepared without any care or attention. I've been there three times over the last five years, and every time something was under-cooked or tasted off. Edit- 2 years later. The lads have improved, a bit. They've learnt how to cook chips, and make a passable doner kebab. Better, but still not good.

Without doubt in my opinion the best kebab in the Kettering area, fresh meat, fresh salad and sumptuous chips, this place is a hidden gem, but collect as delivery isn’t great!

Loving the way the kebabs are now done with the boxes the salad and the kebab in there own areas is excellent 👍 also your kebab meat is alot nicer than it use to be great job

For the length of time it took for delivery, the food wasn't that great to be honest.

Order placed and accepted at 18:30, money taken. Two hours later no sign of the food. Called them and they tell us they don't deliver to our address. Absolutely awful service.

Every time you try and order on just eat they cancel the order

Burger tasted horrible since I have eaten this food I have had a really bad belly and still feeling un well shall not use again

45 minutes late and no update on the app then when I called to find out what was going on they cancelled the call, not very happy at all when I have 3 hungry kids to feed, so there treat wasn't a happy one

They forgot my curry sauce. Fish was very soggy!

Tasty food as always, turned up very late despite being told he will be you in any minute and he's coming to you first 30 min before it turned up (I live 5-10 min away)

Estimated delivery between 7:20-7:40 pm and it arrived at 9pm after calling 5 times . Food was great , lady explained the delay , made it fresh and delivered it herself .

Although we received the food on time, it was delivered 30 minutes after it was marked as being on its way despite the restaurant only being a 5 minute drive away. I rang the restaurant after 20 minutes to see if it was on its way and they said it had left 5 minutes ago. It then took another 10 minutes to arrive. When it did arrive the food was cold. Overall very disappointed with a normally very good and efficient restaurant.

I am still waiting for a refund for the meal I have told you already that the food was stone cold and had to be reheated please sort this out many thanks mr bush

Here in Barton you’ll find a chippy that can’t cook chips. Bland, tasteless, undercooked and enough grease to block your arteries in an hour. Kebab meat undercooked, cold and tasteless. I threw it all in the bin and went out again to get food from a place that can actually cook. I thought supporting the local community would be good but my gosh this place needs to close or get new owners. My vocabulary doesn’t cover the words to describe how bad this place is.

Ordered a 15” and 12” pizza, when it arrived they were both 12”, cheers lads kids crying

Food was cold had to reheat it not very impressed disappointed normally good , must be honest with you ,that’s the thing that let it down we’ve been customers with you for a while,don’t like complaining but thought it necessary many thanks

Got the order wrong but I didn’t complain I know it was a mistake and not deliberate I’m sure they would have corrected it if I had. What they delivered was absolutely fine.

What a great little village chippy, kebab was on point, the chips were fluffy and the sausages were crispy and delicious.

I dunno if the chef gets changed here sometimes...had burgers tonight and the buns were so soggy they were basically like mushy wet bread that had been sat in water. But obviously this was grease from the burger. Disgusting 👎

Brilliant meal and great service, I forgot to order chips with our meals and the delivery driver drove back for chips and it only took minutes the chips were delivered, brilliant staff and extremely helpful. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

Was shown on screen a delivery slot of 1 to 1.25 hours. That was fine for a Friday night. It arrived by a very polite guy within 15 minutes. Well done Barton Chippy !
