A warm welcome awaits everybody who enters. The Managers and Bar Staff are very friendly and good food is available from Wednesday to Sunday. It is a Members club but visitors are welcome.

Tried the food because we saw some meals being served outside and it looked good Returned for a evening meal we tried the rump steak and scampi both meals were excellent the steak was unbelievably good friendly waitress and great find

Didn't know what to expect, although had eaten in the bar before, but not upstairs. The atmosphere was good and had a single red rose on every table for the ladies (nice touch). The service and the food was excellent, steak was superbly cooked and very tender and tasty. All in all a very good experience.

Lovely Sunday roasts with a lovely atmosphere; the price is great. They provide different size roasts too! Couldn't fault them. My fiancé is very fussy and the chef caters for him which is fab 🤣

We often go to the social club for good, wholesome home cooked food. Really well priced, plentiful and tasty. The chef is always open to adapting your food to how you like it. You can choose to sit in the more formal, yet relaxed dining room or have your food brought down to the bar area. Drinks at the club are a great price and its generally a very friendly and open atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!

I ate here yesterday evening with my partner and all I can say is that the food was excellent. I had fish and chips which was very reasonably priced and received tasty food that was more than enough. The fish was huge and the batter was lovely and light and crispy. Nothing was too much to ask for the staff and the surroundings were very pleasant!! Well done everyone and thank you so much again!! 😊

You may have to wait a while but when it comes its a top notch Sunday lunch plenty of variety on the veg and a good selection of meats ,friendly and helpful management plus good drinks at reasonable prices what more could you ask for well worth a visit.

We have visited the Social Club several times for a meal, including 3 roast dinners. The roasts were all excellent. We have had a steak meal, Indian meal and an excellent ham egg and chips. The women serving the food and drinks are so friendly and welcoming. Definitely a place we would recommend.

Wasn't sure what I wanted as didn't want chips, but that was not a problem was offered alternatives..I chose mash potatoes. This was served with a very enjoyable steak and all the trimmings. Fantastic value. Hope to be back to eat in May on our next holiday.

Went to the Social Club for a meal with friends after we had been to the theatre situated right opposite..I had sea bass , new potatoes, carrots , green beans and broccoli all for under £9.00. I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while ..My friends both had the steak and said it was delicious..It’s on a par with any pub or restaurant within the vicinity of Teignmouth and i would certainly recommend you give it a try 👍

After booking our lunch and asking to sit upstairs, we took our reasonably priced drinks upstairs with us, my wine was palatable and very nice, my husband commented on how his real ale beer clung to the glass and tasted good, the sign of clean pipes and well kept beer. I chose a pork & my husband a beef lunch, I asked the lady who served us our dinner for some apple sauce, then added horseradish when she came back with it and some water, the water arrived cold with ice in a smart cork bunged carafe, I thought it a nice touch! We could not fault one thing about the dinner, which my husband thought quite funny as I am a little OCD, he looked as though he was about to faint when I said everything about the whole experience today was perfect, (his sense of humour!) the food was hot and everything was cooked to perfection, even with plenty of gravy arriving in a separate jug, so I couldn’t even moan about having gravy filled Yorkshire puddings (I hate them soggy) so hats off to the chef for such a lovely meal and to the young lady who attended to our every need (She is a keeper) I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another meal there at affordable prices with quality fresh food! Well done Teignmouth Social club and staff with a nice atmosphere 🥰

I have had a roast dinner in here a few times with family. Best roast in teignmouth! The food is cooked to perfection, great price for what you get. The staff are always polite and friendly. I would highly recommend.

Stopped in for lunch. They open at 11:00am (not Noon as shown in Opening Times). Very pleasant service, prompt, tasty and nicely presented. Give it a try!

A friendly local Social Club. Good choice of beers all very reasonably priced. Sunday roast dinner was lovely. Going for Friday fish day. Raffles and bingo included in the activities. Support this little gem !

Lovely old fashioned club. Great staff and atmosphere. Brilliant food, especially Sunday Roast. Clientele tend to be older, not a stag or hen night kind of place. Outside terrace right opposite sea. Bingo!

We regularly have lunch during the week in the Social Club which is always delicious. We took the family for Sunday lunch on our anniversary and everyone said the meal was delicious. Choice of roast meats and desserts, all excellent. Lovely atmosphere and great service....

GREAT! Prices are unbelievably good on both food and drink. Great selection of beers and the management and staff are really friendly. The food is great and the view of the seaside from upstairs is wonderful.

Just had my grandads wake here yesterday. I have to say they done a lovely job with food, thankyou very much. Drinks are very good price as well, nice and clean, friendly staff, just remember to take cash as no card machine.

Just called in on a Sunday as visiting for the day. Given a table for 6 almost immediately for lunch. A fabulous meal, attentive staff, lovely and clean and great atmosphere. A little gem and members eager to sign you in as visitors.

As good place as. There is not many places to dance one big problem is the dance floor is always got table's and chairs on it and really needs removeing but falls on defense ears

Very friendly and good prices with someone who knows how to keep ales. However I wish they would do something to make the decor less drab especially the lightning. It need not cost a huge amount it just needs a bit of imagination. If they did I would join as it would definitely feel more inviting. Good luck to them though they are fairly new as an independent from the Legion. Perhaps it will improve.

Went to Teignmouth for the switching on of the Christmas lights. Went into the British Legion club opposite the Pavilions. Had tasty hot pork bap & fries cooked outside. Went back next day for Sunday Lunch. Wow. Fantastic, freshly cooked proper food. No frozen Yorkshire puds here!!!! Definitely worth a visit.
