Visited with my partner and sad to say it was very poor quality. The potatoes were very small with floppy skins not baked at all. I had cheese and beans which I left most of it and my partner had bolognese. Both were small servings and not very warm. My partner had a really upset somach within about half an hour and felt really ill. We had to go home. Whilst we were in there at least another 3 customers remarked at the poor quality and left their food uneaten. Sorry but will not be visiting again.

I was in Sutton today at lunchtime and decided to try Ted's. It was my first time there but won't be my last! The service was very quick and efficient and the spud was cooked to perfection The best bit, though, was the very generous portion of cottage cheese and chives on top. Would recommend.

Have been coming here for years, also adult members of my family. Very clean shop. Service always friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, plentiful and tasty as always.

I like to pop in now and then for a chat and a hot chocolate. Justin, Nic and the team always give me a great personal welcome, know most customers by name and provide a gorgeous hot drink and tasty chocolate chip shortbread cookie! I’ve been visiting Ted’s regularly for the last thirty odd years and can honestly say I’ve never had a jacket potato as nice or in more friendly surroundings. He offers all the normal fillings but is also the only restaurant I’ve ever known to offer Branston pickle. The joys of cheese and Branston on a potato!!

I’ve been coming to Teds since I first started college back in 2009 when it was a little stall in the middle of the shopping centre. The spuds have never changed and you always get the same friendly, homely service. Every time I’m in Sutton I always get a spud. There are no other spuds like them! Just amazing!

If you’ve grown up in Sutton Coldfield, you KNOW that Ted’s Potatoes serve THE best potatoes. (Which also means any spuds you cook at home just never compare, hence why they’ve got their daily regulars!). There’s a reason everyone remembers their little stall where they first started! I've been eating at Ted's for years, their jacket potatoes are super tasty and the service is always brilliant. I used to run down to the Ted's stand on my lunch breaks at college. My boyfriend and I (who is from out of town) went to Ted's earlier this year and since he's been asking when we can go back for another one 😂 (safe to say no other spud has lived up to a Ted's spud since!) We have been going to Ted's for years, before the cabin and shop. The potatoes have always been the best. No other potatoes compare! You always know what you're getting and the staff are lovely. Can't beat the bolognese or chicken curry!!

I have been spending my hard earned money at Teds for a number of years, if you are in Sutton then there is no other choice but Ted's... So just stop and go there now, I mean it, you, right now. Quick and courteous service, very affordable, filling and not to mention healthy! When we were planning our wedding, Ted was the obvious option, not only did it save us several hundred pounds on in house or wedding caterers, they also easily catered for all the special dietary requirements, scaled exactly to our needs with almost no wastage and they made the whole process super easy, I didn't have to give a thought to the evening food on the day, it was all already in hand. So go and support a local business, but more importantly buy your lunch, dinner, tea, impromptu snack and/or brunch from Ted's. Lets face it if you don't like it you have no soul anyway

I have visited Ted's potatoes countless times over the last 2 decades and have yet to find a more delicious, extremely fair priced restaurant whereby the service is more than you could wish for. You can feel the warmth from the second you step into the shop as they make relationships with each individual customer and get to know each and every one. They always provide service with a smile and the food is exceptional and I have never had a bad experience from this establishment. Ted’s is by far the best Jacket Potato outlet ever. Lots of different fillings to choose from and the potatoes are fluffy inside. First class service a must visit! You don’t know what you’re missing out on!

Every time I am in Sutton, no matter who I am with, we always go to Ted's for lunch. The potatoes are always so soft and tasty, there is a lovely range of fillings and we are always served with a smile. In fact, my husband and I love Ted's so much, we had them cater our wedding reception so we could share our love for Ted's with all our guests. We ordered 100 potates even though we didn't have 100 guests attending and there were only 4 potatoes left! People liked them so much they got seconds! I am much looking forward to my next visit to Ted's

Came here all the time during my teens as a local, but moved away in my 20s. Returned for a visit recently to see if the potatoes (my go to choice being chilli con carne and cheese) were as good as I remembered or if it was just my rose tinted spectacles!Well first thing that surprised me was how cheap the potatoes were. There's not many places around where you can get fast and wholesome, comfort food for less than a fiver these days. The spud was cooked to perfection, lovely and fluffy on the inside and the toppings were as heart warming and tasty as I remembered. The service was efficient and friendly too.The final thing to say is as a customer its satisfying to know each purchase in an independent business like this, puts food on a family's table rather than lining the pocket of some tax dodging, multinational corporation.Give Ted's a try, I promise you won't be disappointed.

We have been visiting Ted’s Baked Potatoes For what must be 20 years now.In their current location and previously in the Piazza hut within the centre of Christchurch Centre. We also use Ted for his mobile service which you provided at Quinney Hall for my 60th birthday celebrations.Offering a simple fayre Including vegetarian/vegan with very high quality fillings. Very amenable service and affordable quality food. My wife happens to be an especially appreciative customer. Congratulations on an excellent service for so many years.

Great place to come for lunch. Family run, great selection of fillings. Very reasonably priced. Only takes cash payment's but cash point around the corner. Really nice fillings, the beef curry meat melts in your mouth!

I ocassionally come to Sutton for courses, Ted’s is my go-to for lunch. Its just simple hot food. It’s nice to have fast food available that is comforting and relatively healthy. Also the staff are lovely. I think that your vegan options need to be labelled though. I hate having to ask if vegetarian things are vegan!

I have been here on numerous occasions, though had been away for a good while so happy to return and find the same consistent standards of food and pricing. The potatoes are large and well filled and they have a choice for vegetarians which is excellent. The place gets really busy especially around lunchtime but they have quite a few outside tables. Service is helpful, prompt and efficient and i really cannot fault the consistency.

I have been going to Teds for years, even when it was a stall outside and not a shop, the prices have gone up a lot of times since being in a shop which is annoying and also it is cash only which can be frustrating. The shop is always busy but there are also seats outside. Good choice of fillings and friendly staff. Just a shame about the prices.

We love Ted's Potatoes, always tasty and straight out the oven so nice and fresh. They have a large range of toppings to choose from so we switch it up from time to time. Pretty cheap for the amount you get too, I mean they are pretty generous with the fillings.

Visited Ted’s for a quick lunch and wasn’t disappointed. Good, hot, fluffy potato and a wide range of toppings available (chilli and cheese selected in my case) - coffee is good too.

I re-visited Ted's after a year and pleased to report consistency of good food and good service. This is a 'no frills' casual diner but in my opinion is excellent. It serves a great range of toppings for jacket potatoes which are served in a box with plastic fork so you can eat in or take them away. I can definitely recommend the vegetarian chili topping. Prices are very good indeed and staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a limited number of tables so you may have to share or wait but it is well worth it.

Visiting Sutton Coldfield on a wet and blustery Saturday, we were looking for somewhere to lunch lightly and get out of the rain when suddenly the most gorgeous aroma of baked spuds caressed my olfactory senses. For a few seconds we walked on but then realised we couldn't resist, so back we turned.

Staff are always polite, there's a great range of toppings for your decent sized potato, quite often stop here if in the area doing shopping.

Ted's baked potatoes are great as takeaway food as there is never anywhere to sit in Sutton, especially of a weekend. The potatoes are well cooked and all the toppings are tasty, plus generous portions!

Eating in Sutton is not great these days, curry, pub chains, burgers, pizza and fry ups so Teds is a very welcome experience during the day. Fresh, tasty and as you would expect, very nice!

I returned here after not having visited it for a good while and was as impressed as the first time. The place gets full marks for consistency of quality and value for money. It is a 'no frills' establishment with a really wide choice of toppings for delicious potatoes. This time I had a vegetarian chili potato to eat in and for £3.50 it was extremely good value. I would definitely return here for casual food at great prices.

Forget the yellow bland fattening pasties from Greggs 3 doors down, get a healthy potato from Ted's to fuel your day after lunch. Always fresh, soft and tasty. Just like fresh minge.

Ted's Baked Potatoes are fluffy and cooked to perfection. A wide variety of fillings means there is something for everyone. As well as the selection of coffees you might expect now they are offering Gingerbread or Caramel lattes. Served efficiently by genuinely friendly staff. Just right to warm up on a wet, chilly day.

On a freezing shopping day in November Ted's insisted on having the door wide open and they didn't like it if you closed it, even if you were eating in there and there was a draft. They were more interested in not having misted up windows, they didn't care what the customers they had in the shop thought. The staff were all dressed in shorts so they were hot, and almost surprised that anyone would close the door. I suggest an extractor fan would do the job. The food was ok, and nice to eat in, instead of usually finding a bench as it was an outside pitch.

Am a regular visitor to Ted's potatoes, are always yummy , particularly like Tuna Mayo with Cheese on top . Nice to be able to sit in or out (weather allowing) , had lunch there the day and inadvertently left my laptop there which was handed in and then they kindly took it to Customer Service in the Gracechurch Centre . Lovely little place.

Great value with the bonus of excellent quality. I feared cheap, plastic cheese but the spud came with surprisingly good mature cheddar cheese. Only lacks crispy skin to make it perfect.

Ted's has been around in Sutton for a long time (though on the move) and I have eaten various potatoes from here over the years. Without exception they have been good - of a reasonable size, hot and well-filled. There are MANY toppings to choose from so there is something for everyone who is a jacket potato lover. The Gracechurch Centre has quite a few seats around so one can purchase a potato and eat it al fresco. Service comes with a welcome and a smile and prices are reasonable. What more could you want from a casual food outlet!

I go to Ted's on a regular basis for my work lunch break. The food is amazing and they're always generous with the toppings! The staff are really friendly and up for a chat while they serve you and you're never waiting too long despite them being quite busy sometimes.
