Teamo 一心烧烤屋 in Newcastle upon Tyne

The breakfast was very good and the xiaolongbao was delicious. The scallion noodles are huge.

The experience was particularly bad. After placing the order, I waited for an hour and a half and still no food was served. Finally, the clerk told me that the order was lost and had not been made. I was very angry. Don’t go! Junk restaurant

There were not too many people when I went there, and the service was good; the barbecue was delicious, each skewer was generous, and the buffet price was very affordable! If I lived in Newcastle I would come once a week.

This place had some pretty good food, the flavours seemed to be quite authentic and also they had a wide variety of food that's not commonly available elsewhere such as Eel meat. The Katsu curry was excellent and the staff was friendly. I feel like they can improve with the decor and ambience of the place but aside from that the portions of food was large although I must say that I estimate about 12 pounds per person would get you a satisfactory meal.

Visited Teamo for food for the first time today and it was OK. We ordered the braised pork and rice and the tofu curry. Both were fine, however, I found the braised pork to be a bit salty. I also didn't think very much of the presentation of the bento box. I felt like the price point was a bit too high for the quality of food. Staff are helpful. I think we'll stick to visiting for bubble tea and bubble waffles in future (which are always good from here!).

The waiter was not enthusiastic. After entering the door, he directly asked us if we wanted to take away. It felt like we didn't want to sit down at all. The waiter then kept talking to friends or maybe regulars. I can understand chatting with friends and regulars, but at least as long as you serve other customers well. It's also extremely cold indoors and the heating is not turned on in winter. I don't quite understand. The environment is very poor. The food is like cooking bags, which cost about three yuan a bag in China. The price is nine pounds, the portion is not as big as the canteen, and the quality is not as good as the canteen, which is outrageous. Maybe the milk tea was just good, but the dining experience was just too uncomfortable.

Staff seemed fairly uninterested in actually serving us. Food was mediocre at best. Beef brisket with a side of barely cooked broccoli(it was 2 small stems) half a hard boiled egg and some rice. Served on a tray its reminiscent of a school dinner. Bubble tea was outstanding. It was quite cold Inside the restaurant and I had to wear my coat. Environment is a off white colour with questionable art decor.

Very disappointed. Decided to get some late night snacks. Orders were simple and yet took an hour to arrive. It wasn't even crowded. Food was too salty, couldn't finish. It was quite expensive as well! Not worth! Does not accept card payments. Only reason it's 2 stars and not 1, is because the passionfruit drink we ordered was not bad. I would avoid to be honest.

We used to call in here quite regularly and it was always good service and decent food. However we visited today and it looks like there’s been some changes in staff. After being ignored for 15 minutes by 2 members of staff, 1 of them talking to some friends and the other just ignoring us we decided to leave. We will not be back.

tea was okay, bubble wasn't right...they were soft like tofu....

I expected much more. Food was average, nothing special, small portions. The waffles were pretty good. Waiting time took way too long. To be honest I haven't been pleased.

Best bubble tea in Newcastle with good food to go along with it. Also the staff was really friendly and funny definitely recommend
