I’ve been here a few times for different occasions including baby shower, birthday party and afternoon tea. The owner Emma is fantastic and always go above and beyond at making your visit a pleasant one. She’s fantastic with half term activities for children. Food is a bargain for what you get, I would definitely recommend going here!

Great afternoon tea and well worth the money, 5 sandwich selections, delicious home made cakes and unlimited tea and coffee. The decorated China crockery, wooden furniture and the most friendly owner make this place well worth the visit. Emma offers a warm, family friendly atmosphere and nothing is too much trouble.

My daughter and I went for afternoon tea and we were made very welcome by the owner, Emma. Loved the quirky interior of the cafe and really enjoyed the delicious sandwiches and cakes that were served. Emma even packed up what we couldn’t finish so we could take them home with us. My daughter’s intolerances weren’t a problem either and the alternatives that were provided went down a treat! Looking forward to our next visit already.

Loved everything about this place, from the quaint China teacups, plates and teapots to the great selection of sandwiches and cakes and not forgetting the lovely lady who owns this place who made us all feel so welcome. The visit was the last stop for my 40th Birthday and it was certainly the icing on the cake, only wish it was closer.

I have been twice now to this lovely cafe. We have had the most delightful afternoon tea on both occasions. Plenty of delicious sandwiches, the usual scone, cream and jam and some lovely cakes too. Plenty of tea with refills. All served on china plates, cups and saucers. Nothing is too much trouble for Emma, the owner. The cafe is filled with unusual items. Most of which are for sale. She also does lots of special days for children where they can do crafts etc. Their tea is also served on china - even teapots of milkshake or chocolate drinks they can pour themselves.

I visited with friends to celebrate a birthday and Emma could not have been more accommodating, allowing us to bring a bottle of prosecco to toast the birthday girl and even supplying glasses at no extra cost. The afternoon tea is delicious and excellent value for money, adults are well catered for but children's afternoon tea and themed parties are where Emma shines. Little ones have the same china cups and plates as grown-ups and there drinks, milkshakes, cordials and hot chocolate are served in teapots.

I was lucky enough to win a local competition to visit this little tea room. Very pleasant surroundings which showed off local artist paintings, which could also be purchased. Very friendly, chatty staff. My 7 year old daughter loved the fact she had her own little teapot (with strawberry milkshake in) Also has a lovely window display which is changed on a regular basis.

We visited as a family group of 13 adults and 2 children to celebrate my mums 70th birthday, the age range was from 15 months to 76, We all really enjoyed it as there were things for the little one to do. The room had balloons on the tables as they had that extra. When we arrived were advised what were on the sandwiches and we were allowed to change some within reason, and for the children Jam sandwiches were included, which were also enjoyed by others, when the sandwiches arrived they were lovely and fresh, as our mum is gluten intolerance she was given sandwiches and cakes, she really enjoyed, The setting is lovely and with proper old fashioned cups and saucers, we will visit again when we are back in Ashton and the owner is so friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Me and my daughter visited this little gem today. It was lovely. The lady serving who was called Emma made our visit so nice. She couldn't do enough for you. The amount of food you get for the price is great value for money. The selection was spot on and the strawberry mouse cheese cake was delicious. I would definitely tell anyone to visit this place.

Staff very friendly and we all really enjoyed it. My daughter doesn't normally eat sandwiches but she ate them all. Really great value for money too and great if you have children. Came here for my friends daughters party to which my daughter was invited too, Emma and her staff was amazing and friendly. I ordered the pot of tea and x2 scones cream and jam, £3.50 refills on milk I got plenty..... ran out of cream and jam for my second scone but didn't ask for refills as girls had plenty left on there table so took there's. ....I'm a meanie lol anyway not sure if there would be an extra charge for more cream and jam... (I like lots) spread on my scone haha even girls was saying it looks more like a cream cake than a scone. The party food price I'm not sure but it looked amazing and yummy.... no fizzy pop was served only cordial which I felt was good thing, but bearing in mind Emma did express...if we was to go shop and buy a bottle of pop she wouldn't mind, which I thought was a fab attitude to her customers as some places are NO point blank (i only drink fizzy pop, cordial doesn't cut it for me). Will definitely come back with friends as I really enjoyed the afternoon. There also had hair, nails and make up done which was nice for the older girls.

Well all I can say we loved it . Afternoon tea with Belle. The staff are great they couldn't do enough for us and went out of their way to make us happy. The food was plentiful but was still asked if we had enough and they were willing to make more. It has an art gallery, mirrors and clocks on the wall that gives it is quirkiness. The price is fantastic with unlimited tea, coffee and drinks for the children. Will definitely be going again .

I like trying afternoon tea at different places so I came here after good feedback from a friend who loves it. It's relatively warm and welcoming if you like chintz and clutter. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Some lovely paintings on the wall which is more pleasing to the eye than the pointless abundance of clocks and mirrors. Food is plentiful and generous but nothing to write home about. Very average and nothing remarkable, not like other places I've been to that seem to try to be different from everywhere else. Must have changed menu because what my friend said she had on her visits didn't seem to be on my afternoon tea. For the standard of food on offer the price was very reasonable. Next stop Manchester Town Hall...

This is a really lovely place to go for afternoon tea, with children or without children. Beautiful crockery and teapots, tasty choice of menu (we shared a traditional afternoon tea and a gentleman's afternoon tea while my daughter had a child's afternoon tea which was exquisite), quaint setting wonderful service and such a varied choice we ended up taking our leftovers home. I will definitely be planning my next visit! 5/5 stars

The food is delicious if you can get what is on the menu! Each time I have ordered a dish there has been something unavailable - no hollandaise, no chorizo etc. It’s a shame because what they do have is lovely and it has a nice little venue.

My mum pops in when out shopping to buy treats for the kids, they make lovely gingerbread biscuits, the latest she bought were Paw Patrol characters, my 3 year old daughter loved her Skye gingerbread. Mum also gets pies and sausage rolls for an easy lunch, all very nice.

Double D's provided hot food for my 50th party. The customer service was amazing from my first enquiry. Everything needed was provided by them, plates, napkins etc. The food was outstanding. All my guests went up for seconds. I would highly recommend and would not think twice about using again.
