Amazing, great prices,delicious- could go on for ever with the positives. Have been going to Tayah’s for many years, and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The breakfast is THE best. In fact all the food is of a high standard. Where else can you go for top-up coffee or a big teapot for one? Staff are very friendly, pleasant and give excellent service. If you fancy a full English, then Tayah’s has got to be your first stop. (Omelettes are superb, too!) Well done Tayah and staff for providing such a great experience. Can’t wait for the next visit.

Wanted afternoon tea for a lockdown birthday. Great communication from Tayahs, via messaging and on the phone. Tayahs discussed menu options and tailored children's afternoon teas to meet children's preferences. Our 2 adults and 2 children's afternoon teas came on cake stands. Looked fantastic and great value for money. Picked our order up at the premises. Covid secure measures in place. Nothing was too much trouble for Tayahs. Lots of food including various sandwiches, soup, sausages rolls and lots of delicious cakes. Would definitely recommend.

First visit here today but won’t be returning for the following reasons. 1. Think the owner / s are going for the shabby chic look, but sadly the furniture and decor just looks shabby! 2. The food was ok but nothing more and pricey for what is was! 3. We were put off our meal by the constant talking ( and not softly of the staff) did they really need to discuss the fact that one of them had been to dentist recently and gagged when they said dentist tried to put the camera into her mouth. This info was relayed more than once . And also another member of staff asked loudly for a nail file to do her nails as her recently manicured ones had broken. This is not the sort of conversation I want to hear whilst eating my lunch or any other food. 4. Too crammed in and smelt of the dog ( BTW. Dogs are allowed in! So to me it was not a pleasant experience and therefore I personally would Not recommend. Gordon Ramsey would have a field day in this place if he were to pay a visit! To me it just came across as not professionally adequate .

The bacon was probably the best I have tasted and the sausage cooked properly, egg runny and fried bread topped it off. We sometimes visit Clitheroe midweek during the day. A pub crawl is the usual way to go, but this time, after the first pint we decided to have another. We stayed for six and on heading to the bus stop, we had only been to one pub. Why did we stay all afternoon? It was the friendliness of not just the staff, but the other customers all offering interesting content to a rolling discussion ranging from the beers to where each of us lived / grew up etc .... The barmaid (it was her first day) pulled a great pint too. In my experience of both pubs and people, this is rare. I nearly forgot to mention the prices. Cheaper than most places and two of the beers offered at just £3 a pint.
