Just returned from the Tatton Arms, what a lovely warm, welcoming place it is. We love having Sunday lunch out and we weren't disappointed, when the meal arrived I saw the massive Yorkshire pudding and thought oh no! as when they are that big they are often tasteless, but what a lovely surprise to find out how tasty it was. Everything on the plate was really enjoyable and well-presented. Another surprise was to see how much gravy was on the meal and it tasted good. Very recommendable.

Delicious, pretty and well attended. We had fish and chips. Mouth melting fish and crispy chips. They know how to cook chips. Also, Homity pie that was delicious with and without gravy. All decorated for Christmas. All in all wonderful. We wish we lived nearby! Recommended by car rental at airport.

Have visited here a few times as we are local however after what i have witnessed i will not be attending anymore. Totally understand that this pub is near the airport so the car park is well monitored however i saw that a couple of people on the street had parked on the front car park as the whole road had been dug up and they are unable to park elsewhere due to permits. Baring in mind these people are customers of the pub as well things could have been dealt with a lot friendlier. I walked past and noticed one of the residents had left to go out to which the land woman proceeded to get her cars and block the entire front car park off so they cannot get back in. I have experienced rudeness in the pub itself from staff and the manager before but i put it down to being under pressure. Now i am realising they are just rude people. I have also heard some locals wondering why she still has any business. I would have recommended this pub in the past especially to plane watchers however i will not be doing in the future now.

Reserved for 6 adults and 5 kids and had brilliant service throught. Leah looked after us went above and beyond to serve us. Leah, you are a credit to your trade. Food was very nice, even the kids commented

Excellent pub atmosphere, very nice food, I found the service to be good and no trouble parking, which could otherwise be an issue so close to the airport.

Hostess was attentive, friendly and helpful with meal selections. Food was well seasoned and flavorful. My favorite was the Eton Mess dessert. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Enjoyed the lovely view.

Went on Tuesday evening and was served by Helen. She was an absolute treasure. She arranged for me to have my chilli on the side was really pleasant and helpful. Visited on 22nd September at lunch time. Not been in for over 15 years and it was nice to see it had been renovated yet still retained some of the old features. I had the cheese pie with chips and gravy. It was simply the BEST CHEESE PIE I HAVE EVER HAD. Wonderful. I wanted to buy the lot… Stunning food. Also the two ladies who served us were wonderful, very attentive, very friendly. Sorry I did ask your names but my memory is rubbish! Will definitely be back… thank you!

Ordered steak Philly sandwich and it was terrible. I thought they had forgotten to put the steak on it as couldn’t taste any but actually there was about 3 tiny slivers of steak with too many green peppers and horrible melted orange processed cheese. Sent it back after 2 bites and ordered BLT instead- this was better. The bar staff were lovely and happy to replace the meal.

The dinning area was not really suitable as the noise from the bars overrode. It’s a well mused pub which is good, with friendly staff and reasonable ‘pub grub’. A pub grub meal is fine, but not a restaurant meal.
