Came for a birthday in a large group and definitely recommend it. Food and drinks really good, great vibe (nicely tucked away from the chaos of the streets) and brilliant service. Couldn't help us enough from the first moment we arrived - thanks so much Sam and Skye!

Absolutely 1000/10, service was impeccable and the food was bloody amazing! Something was forgotten for brunch and they went above above and beyond to make up for it when it was not the end of the world. Would 100% recommend coming here and the vibe is perfect.

We had Sunday lunch here recently. It wasn't absolutely perfect, but most of it was very high quality and we're looking forward to going back. + The beef was superb. Beautifully cooked and well rested. Huge sides! They're cheap so you might think they're small and order a few. They're massive. They could charge 3x or 4x as much for the cauliflower cheese. Other places do. Nice atmosphere and staff. Deserves to be busier for Sunday lunch. - Only one minor thing: our Yorkshire puddings were burnt. We were the first table in so they had plenty time to get them right. Pretty criminal. It was the beef that saved it.

Came here for a roast but was a lil disappointed:(. Staff and vibes all LOVELY and can't complain at all about that, but the mains weren't as good as we thought they would be. Had the fried goats cheese starter which was delish and really set the standards high for the roast but unfortunately it wasn't so great. I had the "veggie haggis" which I'm almost 100% sure was actually a quorn roast you just buy in the supermarket. Its not a massive problem cos i like it but it would have been nice to be informed that it wasnt a haggis situation. My yorkshire pudding was burnt and my partners was cold. Carrots were kinda hard and out of the 9 roasties, only about half hit the spot, the rest were a bit hard on the exterior. Would have looooved some more gravy and a bit of pepper, too (I do think if we'd have asked we would have got some pepper to be fair, though). I wonder if maybe a roast isn't exactly their specialty as the starter really was delicious and from pictures online, the charcuterie looks lovely. I wouldn't be put off from trying it again as its a great place with attentive staff, just maybe not for a roast next time.

Previously visited in summer where it was so fantastic I felt the need to return. However, this time the cheese fondue was like grainy, curdled mush and the charcuterie board felt as though they had popped down to the corner shop to supply it. Staff were friendly but not very attentive. Very disappointing considering the first time was so good :-(

What a great find! Me and my partner came here during the 50% off deal and wow were we surprised. Just a fantastic small spot away from the hustle and bustle of Deansgate. Really simple food done really well. Highlights were the whipped feta and muscles. Chorizo had a honey glaze so was slightly too sweet for my liking but that’s just my preference. Either way all the food was fantastic and would happily come back and pay full price. Service was a tad slow, but the waiter did say before we sat down that they were slightly understaffed tonight so no complaints from us. See you again soon Mews 10/10

Sam and the team at the Mews were absolutely incredible in accommodating all of our requests for a wedding after party. They had everything ready when we arrived, and we’re the perfect hosts throughout the evening, in addition to being so responsive and helpful in the lead up. The location was so perfect, honestly could not recommend enough for any private event! We’ve also been for food and it was just perfect, the quality and quantity is just perfect!

Very expensive for what you get. £19.50 for a cheese board (for 2) consisting of 4 very thin slices of cheese. 8 crackers, 4 pickles and a small pot of chuckney. I could buy a cheese sandwich with the contents of this cheese board for a third of the price. My mind literally boggles how this figure can be put in this quantity of food. I feel well and truly ripped off and as such sadly will not be going here again. Cocktails were good. The staff were all very nice and service was good.

Came here on a sunny Friday recently. It was quite empty, but we saw the reviews and thought, why not? The cocktails are amazing and reasonably priced, especially their before 7pm 2 for 10 cocktails and their special spritz menu. The food menu needs a slight overhaul, even for charcuterie the choices were a bit underwhelming so we didn't order food. The atmosphere was average as despite it being sunny, it was still quite empty and the music wasn't to our taste, however the main let down, and yet main upside was the staff. One lovely cheery girl who was upbeat genuinely made our day and recommended our cocktails and made us laugh so much! She was great, on the other hand, the blonde girl and male made our stay quite short. Between the 3, they all came to ask if everything was okay 7 times within 30 minutes... which although funny to us, began to grate on us too, understandably. We understand they were well meaning, but we didn't feel totally relaxed being constantly talked to and stared at by staff. The staff sit/stand opposite the seating area to smoke and check their phones which came across as a bit unprofessional, I don't know, maybe just us? But surely they could have disappeared down the large stairs nearby if they wanted to smoke? Anyways, the cocktails, great pricing and chilled out atmosphere make this place worth coming to, and although I wouldn't object to coming back again, I'd prefer if it was on a busier day.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at The Mews for my birthday, where I and a group of friends enjoyed the cheese fondue and bottomless wine package. Even before we arrived we were looked after, the team were super accommodating with transport issues and time changes. Everything from the food to the drinks to the atmosphere was just perfect. We were so impressed - we all agreed that it was the first bottomless ‘brunch’ that was actually bottomless!! Special mention to Sam for making sure that anything we needed at all was taken care of - nothing was too much trouble! Thanks to all the staff working on the evening of Saturday 25th - we had such a brilliant time. 😊

Decor and ambience of the place are quite plain and the place itself hasn’t got much going for it; the quality of the cured meats and cheeses on the boards was good, however value for money is really not the best as they were really quite expensive for what they were. Wine selection is poor and we were not impressed wtih the service - ordered a certain wine and got served a completey different one. I noticed once the wine had already been poured and when questioned, the waiter just said: “yeah we ran out of the other one”. Top tip: you should make the customer aware of the fact their chosen wine is not available before pouring them a completely different one

The bottomless brunch was overpriced and service was slightly chaotic to begin with, it did get better but it was disappointing and I’d give it a miss in the future. The brunch was £35 pp which is the average price in town, the cheese was delicious and you get plenty but the sides were abysmal, all you got were 2!! Slices of salami, a couple of crackers and some scrap ends of bread per person. The bread was nice to be honest and refillable but 2 slices of meat for the price is crazy. Our waitress was quite slow and didn’t know what was included with the brunch, she said we had to pay for beer which wasn’t the case when we read the menu. We didn’t know when we had started the brunch either so it was a slow start. The wine was an alright house wine but the lager was nice however it was just a bit of a let down after seeing how nice it looked on their social media. It didn’t feel like good value for money but they were friendly, attentive in terms of making sure you had drinks it was just the food that really let them down. In my opinion there are much better quality offerings than this particular Bottomless brunch. I don’t think I’d return to try the any other food which is sad.
