Had a lovely takeout for the first time in years . The food was absolutely first class.

Absolutely disgusting serves and food! chicken came cold, prawn chow main came with only 2 prawns. When i rang up, was a very rude hello I explained what happened nicely saying what it was like and the women said everything I was saying wasn't true calling me a liar. I said to her I wouldn't lie and I'm not happy how I'm getting spoke to after trying to resolve the issue she hung up on me.

Curry sauce was thick and had set ,,noodles were nice as it was the chips that had the curry sauce on top and it came off the top in one bit ,bbq sauce was bland and ribs were tasteless so they went in the bin and £7.90 not cheap but no taste so couldn’t eat them Beansprouts were tasty ,so a bit disappointed

Lovely little shop and always great staff. Great food and always nice, fairly priced and open with a fast service and large menu, highly recommend the munchy box and the mini munchy box as great value and tastes amazing, crispy chicken is also on point and tastes unreal. Update becoming a running theme of forgetting to put something in the munchy box don’t be gready or I will leave all together as this is bad practice and won’t make me recommend you

Ordered over £30 worth of food for things to be missing and a dish made completely wrong and whoever works the phone needs proper training The food that we did have was lovely just a shame they couldn't get it all right Now after returning they went above and beyond to rectify the mistake now if this is the attitude on how they say sorry then I couldn't recommend this place anymore and the food was lovely Will 100% be back

I used to love this place but the rice I got tonight was awful all clumpy amd tasted very over dine even the colour seemed off and there was lack.of sauce in my crispy chicken so couldn't even mix it in to disguise the rice

Chips were like dry wood chipping and bbq sauce was like red piss water with no taste,glad that’s all I ordered as if I ordered more that would of been disgusting aswell

I’ve saw a lot of reviews at bad delivery service so keep that in mind, as I picked mine up 😊. The girl on the front counter was really nice, and polite and handled my order really well. I hope she gets her props! ☺️ The order came quickly, within 5 minutes after ordering. The food was also very good, especially for the price with very good value, definitely one of the best chinese restaurants I’ve tried in the area! Full stars.

Ordered on Saturday. Disgusting. Kungpo chicken colourless, bland, cashews burned. Honey and chilli chicken and prawns also bland. Very, very poor. This was the last order from us

Placed an order for £30 forgot half of it, when the eventually brought the rest of the order the food was cold, rang up and complained and customer service was disgusting! Asked to send hot food and was advised I would have to pay again……. Totally unacceptable

First time using Tasty Wok but definitely not the last. Meal was piping hot and delicious. Immaculately clean waiting area and copies of the current menu available.

Ordered last night and they got the complete wrong order! Hours later they showed up at my door with the correct order. The girl on the phone was lovely but the delivery man ,who i believe was the manager, had a disgusting attitude and seemed unbothered by the lateness of the order. I’ve ordered from here before and each time has been shocking. I’M NEVER USING HERE AGAIN!!!!

You can not order small noodles as a side dish with your main so if you don’t like rice or chips you have to pay for a whole chow main, was on the phone 20 mins trying to get it sorted but the young girl didn’t have a clue. Called again tonight thinking things would be sorted and same situation girl didn’t even have a clue, said she’d only been working there 2 weeks yet still didn’t know if the mains came with rice or chips. Absolutely insane. I have a feeling this business employs young school leavers for a few weeks trial then gets rid of them without paying them. I will never go back. Stick with Michaels they are the best

Excellent service polite staff and food was ready when I arrived to collect. Food was very tasty, Chips were dry not greasy like some I have had from other places. Portion sizes were great and all the food was finished and we all agreed one of the best we have had since moving to Blyth.

Food lovely as usual. Christmas Eve very busy phoned order to collect. Waited awhile before order was ready even though arrive there approx time told. Collected it got home rice was missing. Phoned them they asked if we could call back. Asked if they could drop it off with next delivery said they would. Not sure when it will arrive?

Made order as I always do with you guys and didnt get what I ordered rang up to get told person packing backs did wrong and were so busy couldn't give time on re delivering right food but I needed to pack what I did get for delivery driver to pick up I explained that I had started putting on plates to get told just scrape back in tubs they needed it back so I am now 30 down with no food and hungry kids so disappointing and wont use again everyone makes mistakes but the phone call and way you delt with it was terrible

An hour and 20 minutes late I called to be told 3 times delivery was with driver he won't be long when food came I asked the driver what took so long and he said he had only got food 10 minutes before he delivered it so for an hour and 10 minutes I was lied to and spoke to like rubbish will not being ordering from here again and putting a post on fb about the disgusting customer service

Thank goodness we are still able to get our chinese take away despite the problems. Precautions have been taken to try to avoid problems with the spread of coronavirus. The food continues to be good and when ordering by phone is usually ready within 20 minutes obviously depending on how busy they are.

Ordered Szechuan king prawn and fried rice. Within sitting down and opening the newspaper, I was told it was ready. I was stunned. Talk about fast food! However within an hour of eating the food I had a splitting headache, bad stomach and toilet troubles. I will not be returning, obviously. I work outside of the UK and flew on the day after the food poisoning. Feel very ill actually. Certainly worth a mention to local hygiene inspectors.

I totally understand that it was a very busy night, and previously I have never had any issues until now! I ordered in just eat at tasty wok on Christmas Eve at 7pm. Confirmation said around 8ish for delivery. Between 8-10 I kept trying to call the restaurant, never getting through!!! Just after 10 I had confirmation that my food was delivered. This was not true!!!! I finally got through to the restaurant and asked why it said on the app that my food had been delivered even though it hadn’t! She asked me my address and very rude and attitude girl confirmed ‘ your food isn’t even cooked’ so I said just cancel my food order due to waiting over 3 hours!!!!! I asked how do I get my money back, she said to contact Just Eat. anyone else having issues getting their money back!!!

So we have now waited over two hours after the scheduled delivery time through Just Eat. We have called twice and the woman answering does not seem to have a clue where the order is at and how long it will be, first saying an extra hour then saying 1-3 hours! After the third call, we were told that the order had not even left the shop. Horrendous.

Ordered a few meals for my family to have as part of our AJ fight night build up and asked for it to be delivered at 7.30. An hour later and repeated calls being told each time it was en rout, it EVENTUALLY turned up STONE COLD! The owner told us not to pay for it when it was delivered during our last call to him before the food arrived and to tell the driver to ring him to confirm, so we explained that to the driver when he eventually arrived! simple eh?!... NOT!! the manager changed his mind! He decided he wanted the FULL payment or the COLD food back! Needless to say he was given it back. This has got to be the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I’m disgusted at the managers attitude and I will never use them again! If you order from Tasty Wok expect attitude if u ring to ask about a late delivery! They expect u to shut your mouth and not complain about cold food. Only giving 1 star because I had to in order to write this review.

regularly visit and it is nice to be welcomed by a pleasant smiling young lady. when you telephone your order in she is pleasant and very helpful no matter how busy they appear to be. Food is always hot and produced relatively quickly.

We usually get a takeaway from Tasty Wok and more often than not the food is very good. Service is always friendly and the food hot and tasty as the name suggests.

We had a fantastic meal from this establishment and would highly recommended them, will use again!

Went to my daughter's for an evening Chinese meal. Initially no problem having to wait an hour for delivery even though it took nearly hour and a half to arrive. For the 2nd time within a month there was a dish missing. Despite ringing to complain they said it would be delivered within 10 minutes. 1 hour later still didn't arrive so had to drive to collect. No excuses for these errors when you are paying £60 a time. I use this takeaway myself virtually every week but I go to collect and even this has not been without problem with the wrong food being supplied. They desperately need to have a system in place to ensure the correct food is supplied as ordered.check it off. If you mess it up for goodness sake be apologetic and give a refund. Good service should be their priority.

I have used and enjoyed the food here for years however tonight was the worst experience ever there. Food ordered at 7.30. at 8.30 I called and asked when would I receive my delivery. I was told the driver was out and I would receive it by 8.45. At 9pm it eventually arrived and the delivery driver told be he and two other drivers had been sitting around and had not been busy. When I opened the food the curry was solid, as in it was cold and had thickened up and was not a sauce as it is when hot. The rest of the food while not cold was certainly not hot. When I called back to say I was not happy the Chinese guy on the phone simply argued with me instead of trying to rectify the problems. Such a shame as I used to use them often and now will not, not because of the timw wait, as annoying as it was, but because of the attitude when I told them the food was not hot and the delivery driver had told be they had not been busy. Ha they said sorry we missed the order, or I am sorry it was cold we will rectify it on your next order it would have been different but there was no need to the attitude tonight.

The girl on the counter provides a good and friendly service. Couple this with the variety and quality of food supplied this is a very good chinese take way. Worth travelling to as we live 4 miles away.

The usual massive selection of foods for a chinese take away but never a complaint about the quality or quantity however the recent price increase of around 8 to 10% was a bit steep. With inflation significantly less than that feel they have over done it.

Just ordered off this takeaway for the very first time via Just Eat and have nothing but praise for them. I got updates through the app the final one to say it was on its way. It was delivered within the allotted time. The portions were large with plenty of meat and flavour with free large tasty prawn crackers. I Highly recommend Tasty Wok from my experience

food turned up 1 hour late after being on the phone twice to find out what was going on it arrived at 2130. we got the excuse that it was really busy which i understand on a saturday night but when the food turned up and it cold, so we rang back and got told if you want a replacement it would be another hour or just reheat it in the microwave, after waiting so long and getting told its busy i dont expect to have REHEAT my food it a microwave

I’ve put 3 star for food quality, but I can’t comment accurately as our food still hasn’t arrived - we ordered our food almost 2 hours ago and still haven’t received anything. I’ve been in touch twice and on both occasions have been told the food ‘won’t be long’, yet we’re still here without anything. I asked politely to cancel the order and get a refund organised (which I think is reasonable considering it’s now bed time) but have been told that they can’t do that as the order was placed through Just Eat (which I believe is nonsense - surely the delivery driver will have cash on him when he eventually turns up?!). When we called back to raise the point that JustEat weren’t liable for refunds, we were shouted at by the lady on the phone, who then proceeded to hang up the phone. Given that we’ve spent £30 on this, wed expect a whole lot better both in terms of delivery time and customer service. We were excited to use this takeaway for the first time due to the high review score they have on here, but I can guarantee it will be the last time we do so. I understand restaurants go through busy times, but communication from them would’ve allowed us to go elsewhere and avoid this situation. Given that the order has apparently been out for delivery for the last 40 minutes I’m fully expecting a cold meal to arrive at a time we no longer want it.

We've just discovered this takeaway after moving into the area and all I can say is SUPERB! Lovely fresh ingredients. TOP MARKS!

spent £35 for a meal for my family.. food came FREEZING so needed to wait another 30 minutes to microwave it all.. and the chilli shredded crispy beef wasn’t fit enough for my dog to eat it!!! when I contacted them there was absolutely NO customer service provided. no apologies or anything!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE

Whether you want to collect or have it delivered the Tasty Wok provides good quality food at a sensible price. Depending on when you order you may have a wait to get your order but that is down to the popularity of the take away.

So disapointed. Sauces were watered down so much my food was soggy and tasteless. Over priced. £35 spent and you're that tight in saving the sauce you water them down. Wont be ordering again.
