Tasty Thai Truck in Adur

I suggested getting some dinner for my Mum and she said looking at reviews why not try the tasty Thai truck in Shoreham.. We ordered over the phone 20 mins later it was ready and we were not disappointed with the quality and flavour.. it was very very tasty and I definitely recommend A++++

I havent visited for a while, and its still THE BEST. The customer service is exemplary and the food is top notch. They dont scrimp on the meat or veg which is often my bugbear of takeaways. They are so popular I recommend ordering in advance, I dont mind waiting for my order as I know it will be high quality, super tasty Thai food.

My partner randomly remembered the Thai Truck so we called them on Saturday evening to order our takeaway and book our pickup time. Wow ! Absolutely amazing food - hot, fresh and delicious! We will definitely be back!

I love the food served here. , eat here at least once a week and have never had a bad meal.Vic and Pat are super friendly, always chatty even when they are super busy and have loads of orders in. I have very specific medical dietary requirements and this is without doubt one place I feel totally confident in eating at. They literally will cook to your specific tastes. I would and do recommend this to everyone. Absolutely shocking meal. Vic is a lovely bloke but the food is utterly tasteless. I called up to tell him how awful the food was, he said he’d not had 1 complaint in all of 9 years, google says otherwise. Meal gone in the bin and re-ordered from Madame Eat in Boundary Road. £30 down the drain.

Great for takeaway Thai. Just to be clear: it’s a van on the side of the road, so no seating etc.

First time trying this yesterday and it did not disappoint! The food is full of flavour and great portion sizes. Pre-ordered over the phone in the morning and it was ready and waiting when I arrived at 6pm. Really impressed, we'll be back very soon

Delicious food, glad that it's closer after I moved (wasn't the driving factor, honest - but used to drive ~3 miles to get it) and priced well..

Sorry to say, but probably some of the worst Thai food I’ve ever had. Having traveled in Thailand and regularly eat Thai food in the U.K. (i love Thai food) Really not authentic at all. 3 different dishes seemed to all have the same sauce!? Shame, the chap who served us was lovely and they seemed very busy so let’s hope they just had a bad night!! 🤞🏽

Based on the reviews we have been very excited but unfortunately we become so disappointed as all the food was completely tasteless. I don't recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic experience. We spent our Saturday around Brighton and as we haven’t booked restaurant for dinner we decided to stop somewhere on the way back home. I found online Tasty Thai Truck and it was a great tip. The customer service was the best what we have experienced. The owners who also cook the food were just amazing. We had a chat, we got a recommendation where to go to eat our take away and of course the food was really good. I highly recommend to go there, escape busy Brighton and take this perfect take away to a local beach 🏖.

Amazing tasting food which is cooked to order. Pre-order your food and it is ready to collect, piping hot for the time agreed.

Superb place, I really shouldn't say too much about it as I don't want you queuing before me. ;-) I like the way they work, phone in your order (they will always call back if they're busy or miss your call,) place your order and then pick it up at the designated time. Always hot, always tasty and always punctual for my orders. I can only attest for the Beef Pad Thai and the Spare Ribs which are absolutely delicious. You can taste the goodness and healthiness. And a great price too. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely delicious food. How come we've only just discovered the Tasty Thai Truck! Our first meal from the TTT last night was ordered and collected without any delay. Not having any MSG was an added bonus for us. The portions were generous too. Looking forward to trying some of the daily specials next time.

Ive use the Thai truck twice since July and the food is really generously portioned and full of flavour. The customer service is superb, even remembering my name after only one previous order (or perhaps having the consideration to save my name in their phone) . The little after dinner "gifts" are a nice touch. My niece had to cut her Thai gap year cut short due to Covid and she loved experiencing the food from here as it sent her straight back to where she really wanted to be. A treat of a takeaway.

First time for us and very happy with the food and the price. Excellent telephone preorder system avoids any waiting about and the food tasted delicious. We are not experts in Thai food but enjoyed all aspects of our meal.

Really lovely people, really lovely customer service and the food was outstanding (Chicken satay / beef pad Thai / beef red curry). Will definitely be back. Such a nice touch adding a little pot of chocolate raisins and peanuts for our dessert and even gave us some chicken for our dog. Thank you

It's not the fault of the owners for the rating - it's the reviewers, I have no idea of the standard of Thai food they are used to. My partner lived in Thailand for 2 years ...and I love good Thai food; however this does not even come close to being average. The food was watery and tasted nothing like it should have done. The food reminded me of a bad generic Thai meal from a supermarket.

Love the tasty Thai truck. We have family in Thailand and always found the food at the truck to be authentic, tasty, well priced and served with a smile.

I have ordered food maybe about 6 times in total and each time the meals have been great. I have never had a poor item. Satay chicken is especially good and the pad Thai is really tasty. The gentleman is such a nice guy and his wife certainly knows how to cook. Love the complimentary choc raisins and peanuts as well. Keep up the good work. Will definitely continue to order.

I have been wanting to try the food as I’ve heard so many good reviews, well last week I had the chance to do so. Wow the food was delicious and good size portions. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The truck has moved to across the road from the Duke of Wellington in Shoreham which is even better for me as it’s my local pub But if you haven’t tried the Food, it’s well worth the visit. You can park up if you are picking your order up by car at the new location so all good for you drivers.

I have used tasty Thai truck a few times in past 12 months, So was thrilled to find out the truck has recently moved location, he is now opposite the Duke of Wellington Pub (down side of Montgomery Motors) Great service amazing food and pleased I can have a pint in The Duke whilst I am waiting or even eat my Thai food in the pub!

Smashing friendly couple with freshly prepared authentic Thai dishes. Only drawback is they are not always open. Great value and great tasting!

It's tasty Thai food! The most delicious authentic Thai food. Vic & Pat serve with a smile. Really good value for money. The truck is parked opposite the Swiss Cottage on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. There is space to park a car to pick up your order. They get really busy- call ahead & order & then it's ready when you arrive. Highly recommended. Check out their website.

Me and my husband eat from here most weekends. It’s so tasty. The couple that cook and run it are loverly. They are very welcoming to my husband and even give us chocolate raisins for our children. Would definitely recommend. Does get busy tho so call early.

I've done most of the Thai restaurants in Brighton & Hove. This is right up there with the best, I doubt anything in Shoreham comes close. Lovely people too.

This place never fails to deliver. Time and time again Vic and Pat turn out quiet simply the best Thai food I’ve ever had. If your lucky enough to be in the area this is a must above any local restaurant. So fresh and pats is a genius with the pans.

I had a takeaway from the Thai Truck on Thursday night and have been thinking about it ever since. It was really fresh and totally delicious and extremely well priced. If you’re in need of a takeaway on Thursday Friday or Saturday then I’d highly recommend this.

We had read glowing reviews about this Mobile -Yasty Thai Truck. So we had to try out the food . We followed advice from other reviewers & phoned in advance, our Order.

So friendly I come here all the time!! Food is really authentic and the service is lovely. It's a really great concept, simple authentic Thai food from the back of a van, would be great if they catered for parties.

I live a few miles away and was recommended this by a neighbour. To be honest, I have not had enough Thai nor know enough about the cuisine to fully comment how good the meal was but will simply say my friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We called ahead and placed our order. Everything was nicely packaged and had just been cooked when we arrived to collect. We ordered beef in oyster sauce, pad thai, rice and prawns in blankets. The food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious! The people who run the place are ever so friendly. We will definitely be returning to try some of the other dishes. Specials change daily but when we called we got a full run down of what was available that day. Thank you for accommodating us late Friday evening!

Heard great things about these guys, so took a drive over to see what all the fuss was about. Drove past them twice! Third time lucky. Great intro, and reminisce about pub crawls in the old days. The food? Top notch!! You'd pay twice as much in a city restaurant, and it wouldn't be nicer. We'll certainly go back!

We have been wanting to try this Thai truck for a while and glad we finally did! We've ordered a few times now. The food is lovely, authentic and no MSG added. You can tell as you're not hungry again 10 minutes later! The portions are generous. You can call your order in and collect, they accept cards as well.. so handy. The pad thai noodle dishes are mild, the red curry dish has just the right amount of spice for us. Not too hot but a little kick. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Super friendly with the best food outside Thailand itself . We used it to sample dishes before a holiday there and will continue to use them now we are back . Cant beat this place . Fantastic .

We have driven by this place so many times always saying we must try there. So on Friday 23/09 we decided to give it a try so we took a walk to the truck which is only a stone's throw away, when we got there we were greeted with a warm welcome, they explained the menu with the specials they where doing, so we ordered and waited it only took 15 minutes so it wasn't a big deal but we did speak with them and you can ring up and place an order for collection only as they can't deliver. During our wait there were quite a few people collecting food so I thought to myself it must be good then.

Tonight we drive to find the yellow tasty Thai truck. It was easy to find and we could not believe we did not know where it was. We sacrificed going out for a meal to try the truck and we were not disappointed. It was particularly busy but the man could not have been more accommodating. He was consistently attentive to all his customers and almost entertained us with conversation while we waited. The food was delicious and the ladies cooking worked so hard and it was so hot for them all. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely go again.

The tasty Thai truck was great, phoned order through and spoke to very helpful gentleman... Ordered some starters for my children ,chicken satay,and spring rolls both were really tasty... Girls loved the satay they both loved the peanut sauce! I also had a green chicken curry.. Plenty of chicken loads of veg was delicious and clean and very spicy perfect. Hubby doesn't like Thai but is actually keen to try a curry so maybe we can convert him yay! More Thai all round...what a great addition to shoreham

Have often walked past this truck in a hurry but decided to stop and try the food. My husband is fussy but the staff were very accommodating as to what he would like and we both loved it. Amazing food, reasonably priced and hardly any wait at all. Will be back defo. 

Delicious Thai food freshly cooked and served with a smile by friendly lovely folk. What more could you want?! We discovered the Tasty Thai Truck a few weeks ago and have already been back several times (oops but it's such great food!). Ribs are amazing, main dishes are packed with quality meat and fresh veg, the specials are varied (prawns in blankets were delicious!) and dishes can be adjusted if you like things on the spicy/mild side. Winning combination! See you again soon!

heard about t he thai tasty truck from a work and decided to give hem a go. they have the most amazing ribs i've ever had i refused to share. its cooked right infront of you health and clean

After a recommendation to try this place, I was very excited as have yet to find a really decent takeaway around Brighton, this definitely didn't disappoint. I ordered over the phone and spoke to Mike, who was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. My boyfriend collected the order (Matt red bmw) and said he was speaking to Mike whilst waiting for the order and also echoed my views as to how lovely it was to be served by someone who was genuinely friendly and sees us (the customer) as valued. The food was delicious, the spring rolls tasted freshly made and better than any I had ever had, satay chicken cooked beautifully , and the pad thai's were the best we have had in Brighton. We will be back and will be recommending to friends.
