Tasty House Chinese Food Takeaway in Eastleigh

TERRIBLE! have ordered for years from this Chinese. Last couple times we’ve noticed it becoming not so great but gave them another shot and what a regret it was. Food was so dry! No flavour at all rice was overcooked chicken not editable. Meal straight for the bin.

Tried it for the first time. Chicken Fried Rice was horrible. Delivery took more than an hour on A weekday.

Amazing food every time! Best Chinese in the area.

Disappointed! Been using Tasty House for over 20 years and have always had good food from them but the last couple of times have been very disappointing. Food is now bland especially the Szechuan sauce - no kick to it anymore. Might have to switch to a different takeaway after all these years. Come on Tasty House - you're better than this!

Worst chinese meal I've ever had

To be fair this is our regular Chinese takeaway, where we mostly have the same meal. Last night's was exceptional food, very fresh and sooo tasty

This is our local Chinese takeaway and normally it’s pretty good but tonight it was late, warm and the chicken was over cooked and hard, won’t be ordering for awhile

A little difficult to have atmosphere in a takeaway...

We have had deliveries from here many times, however, we will not be ordering the crispy duck with pancakes ever again. I had complained about the amount of skin and lack of meat before but, it has got worse, loads of fatty skin, not at all crispy, barely enough for 2 pancakes each never mind the 3 that come with the meal, i would say its cooked 1/4 duckling rather than 1/4 crispy duck! even the portion of spring onions and cucumber that accompany it is very small these days.

Normal gentleman at the counter, on the phone. No problem as that's how takeaways work. Patiently waited, phone put down looked at me ... yes was his question.. I replied hello and placed my order, "£6:60" was the returned conversation... I asked please may I have a menu... "no" was returned... "no" I said puzzled.... "next week" he replied, disappeared around back, came back 2 mins later, obv warmed up in microwave. Amazed to get a few more cylables as a bit late for a politish goodbye.... if u want good customer service best to go elsewhere. which I will be doing in the future

Just been in there to ask for a menu, and the reply was Internet Internet, so left I'll take my order for 8 of us somewhere that cares, your money loss.

Absolutely god owfull salt and chollie ribs and chow main. Ribs was black and burnt and absolutely no meat on them. When I called to complain I was told to send a photo to the shop and never gave me a mobil number. After explaining I have thrown them in the bin becouse I have been at work for 16 hours. He said if I want a refund I have to pay the delivery charge 4-5⭐ revoews. I wouldn't bother lifting the phone

This chinese takeaway always is tasty and with the wide selection of dishes on the menu, it's always difficult to choose. We made a good selection of dishes and they were all of a high standard and very enjoyable.

It's a local takeaway, the service is always good and very quick, the food is great, I go back as often as I can.

Have always used tasty house, but tonight unfortunately was not there normal standard. Chicken was a funny texture in chow mein, spare ribs tasteless with a bit sauce poured over top. Not one to write reviews but not good.

Good food and friendly efficient service.

One of the better Chinese take outs in the area. Always busy on a weekend which is a good guide to the quality of the food. We opt to collect as delivery times are often quite long due to demand. Take out however is typically 30 minutes from order. We have found their predictions are normally spot on. The rice tastes nice and fresh, both egg fried and boiled. The chicken is always nice and soft with a decent amount of chicken in each dish. Similar with the beef. The duck in orange sauce is also a good shout.

Our favourite Chinese takeaway, always tasty and we have our special dishes, staff very helpful with queries.

pork chow mein.. Well its how I used to remember it..... the best from Tasty house.... Big bits of tender pork, mushroom, onions with flavoursome noddles. Tasty spring rolls ... All lovely.

We go out of our way to go here, our favourite Chinese takeaway ! Love their salt and pepper squid, dry shredded beef, and chicken chow mein... highly recommend.
