I ordered a salt and pepper box and found a hair in my chicken wing then went back down and the staff was rude and argumentative would not recommend ordering from here

Absolutely horrendous food everything was warmed up ( not very warm either) probably yesterdays food. Kung po was a strange bright pink colour with duck that had a soggy skin. The crispy beef was too chewy could not bite through it. The chicken in the noodle dish looked fatty. All in all it was a waste of money first and last time at the not so tasty house.

Wow, I DIDN'T KNOW FOOD COULD BE THIS BAD!!! The chips, the bright pink rubbish called Kung Po and the 'leather tough' crispy beef WERE NOT cooked fresh! Everything was cold. Absolutely disgusting reheated muck which was dried out and also sickly sweet. I really can't emphasize how BAD this place is!!! PLEASE PLEASE DON'T EAT ANYTHING FROM HERE.🙏

We spent nearly £80 on a takeaway from this place. I made it very clear to the staff that a member of our party had a sesame allergy, they said no problem and will make sure it was sesame free. This was obviously not the case, as they had an allergic reaction to the food, fortunately it wasn't too severe and didn't require a trip to hospital, however it was certainly an unpleasant experience (I will save you the details) after being assured that there would be no issues. I've been to other Chinese takeaways in the area which are either honest and say it won't be possible, or have properly insured it was sesame free. Next time please put customers safety ahead of profits, and be honest, if you cannot prevent contamination then say so! Fortunately it was a relatively mild reaction compared to what it could have been, or what could have happened to someone else.

Absolute waste of hard earned money rice not even cooked right and the salt and pepper chips far too hot to even enjoy the rice is like it’s been reheated shocking

usually great food ordered last night food was shocking congealed crispy chicken 2 prawns in special fried rice instead lumps of broccoli and carrot ...over cooked prawn toast ..rang to complain there excuse we've been busy waste of money went in the bin ....

Don't quite understand what's happened, this was the best takeaway once, but not now, everything tastes the same, not nice.

The food wasn't bad, we actually enjoyed it, however it was a bit of a mix up with our food as we didn't get what we ordered. The person taking our order was clearly hating their job and it seemed like they wanted to make it obvious for everyone. The noodles were 4 out of 10, but the mains (chilli chicken and salt & pepper chicken) were a solid 9.

Delivery from here has been very poor. The chicken in the four seasons meal looks like its coated in something, which really puts me off. It's like its lowered its standards. Dont think will use again.

I got the cantonese styled chicken in sweet and sour it was so crispy some bits hurt my teeth and the chicken was very dry a few pieces of it actual tasted like they had gone out of date and smelt a bit funny so I stopped eating the chicken and just ate the rice

Ordererd tonight 20/3/2022, absolutely disgusting food, everything was over cooked and hard, salt and pepper chicken was like boot leather the fried rice had no flavour and the salt and pepper chips were overcooked with seasoning burnt on, 0/10 will never order from here again

Absolutely beautiful food. Curry sauce tasted great, salt and pepper chips were incredible and had a lovely kick and my chicken balls were cooked to perfection. Sisters chow mein was also gorgeous. Deffo would recommend

Not great service Used for years and loved the food but standards have gone. two week ago missing sauce from order this week asked for extra water chestnuts in my meal no water chestnuts but bamboo shoots rang to complain not bothered could hear someone shouting in the background very unprofessional. wanted me to travel back down to collect., for rest of the dinner to go cold whilst I collect due to your mistake thanks tasty house £40 ish a week you won’t be getting

Service was super friendly…..food, super poor! Sauces were watered down a d weak and the salt & pepper chilli beef inedible - never consumed anything so over cooked in my life (my teeth are aching is was so tough)!

Normally really enjoy their food, but today I am very disappointed, they do good curry sauce but today we have been given Mayflower curry sauce. Very very disappointing.

Ordered food through just eat and got told food will be here at 6:40 and time is now 7:15 and still no food. Called restaurant- kept on going to answer machine- finally got through got told that they are busy. Asked about discount as being late over half an hour, not interested. Asked again and they hanged up on us. Still no food even order shows completed on just eat. Avoid!

Salt and pepper ribs are wonderful,friendly service prompt delivery! And the pancake rolls came with the most flavoursome sauce! I will definitely use this place again !

We used to like the food from here, however the pancake rolls have halved in size. The last lot of food we had made me so thirsty I ended up drinking all night. To top it all when we tried to book a meal last night we were told they can no longer deliver to us because Woodlands Crescent is not in Hemsworth, that’s absolute rubbish! Just further on from us is the old Hemsworth station, anyway we have found somewhere in Hemsworth better so they have lost a customer.

Lady on the phone was very rude just because I got the wrong takeaway and hung up the phone on me, does not cost anything to be polite. I will not be ordering from here witch is a shame as all the good reviews, maybe the mangers need to teach abit of costumer service.

Nice food, perhaps a little pricy when you consider that rice, chips etc are not included.

Lovely food just the way I like it but everybody has there own preferences.

Only place in Elmsall where you order Ribs, and they deliver chips, and when you question it, they don't take responsibility. All it would take is for them to read the order back to check that's it's right. Would be 1 star, but the food is actually really good. It's a shame I won't be ordering from them again! Great food, terrible service!

It used to be my favourite take-away till they mixed my meal with another order. I bet by mistake. I didn't react once but second time was to much. I rang them and got information that meal which wanted is not anymore served. (?!?!?)

Overpriced we can sit in an restaurant for cheaper got a beef in garlic and black bean sauce the meat was cheap and was like chewing a rubber band the sauce tasted nothing like it black bean sauce anyone would of thought it was thick beef gravy yuk!! Salt and pepper chicken was raw inside. Thank God for no food poisoning. All meals was disgusting and that much of a disappointment i couldn't be bothered phoning up to complain due being too angry as we was all hungry. Ended up at a real chinese restaurant not some knock off Chinese takeaway. You have now lost repeat custom.

Quite good indeed, the best in the area by far. Only beaten by the small chinese in Ackworth opposite the petrol station.
