Service is abysmal, staff uncourteous and clients are ripped off. Tasty African restaurant is generally horrendous, but your worst nightmare comes the moment you dabble into their Erith branch. Learn from others, avoid Tasty African restaurants like a plague.

Needs a better and bigger space. Their pies are becoming unnecessarily expensive from 99p to £2.20 within a period of 2.5 years. Food is great with tasty Nigerian dishes, but if it becomes too unaffordable for the community they are serving the food, they may lose the patronage of the same people. Wake up Tasty!

I ordered Egusi Assorted, swallow and Malta Guinness. All I got in the Egusi was 1 tiny turkey no meat no saki no cow foot as usual. I called the office I was told was that they don’t pack the food as it comes from head office that there is nothing they can do about it. This is total rip off my money gone down the drain. Never buy from here again now looks like fraudulent

Food quality has gotten much better and prices are reasonable

I just ordered bread from Tasty Erith and it was horrible and tasted stale. Do you guys now sell stale bread or does tasty now freeze bread before selling?

As a regular customer I think the long grain rice is perfect for the jollof, I am highly disappointed today. Finding it difficult to eat what I ordered.

I placed an order, and the lady informed me it would take 7 minutes. I agreed and went to sit down, but she later told me I couldn't. When I asked if I should stand while waiting for my food, she bluntly said NO. So, I had to leave.

This establishment lacks proper hygiene standards, so I advise against dining there. The stuff is so rude. Pls avoid avoid.

Zero customer service. Complete Zero. It must be great to not have enough competition around here.

Service and customer service is very good however the food I ordered was cold and a found a piece of hair in my food. Which put me of so didn’t manage to eat.

Everything else was lovely but that goat stew was inedible, pure fat and one piece of meat.

Food is tasty. Service is kind,patient. No particular atmosphere as it is more of a fast food place. I disliked the fact that I was overcharged for food I never ordered or ate, as seen in pictures.

Ordered a jollof to taste and it was super tasty! Tomatoey and herby very seasoned rice. They say when the rice is nice and fresh then everything else is also, eager to try their stewed chicken next! Only grabbed the jollof quickly as I needed to get to work after, but definitely will be coming back!

Waited an hour and a half for my food to arrive cold. Meat in the stew was 80% fat. Was excited for this and it was a waste of money.

Puff puff, fried hake and pepper soup are great. Other items, not so sure.

Customer service is zero. I placed an order,the lady told me it will be ready in 5 mins,I asked if I could sit down while I wait for my order but she blatantly told me NO. I had to stand for more than 5 mins before my order was ready. You have lost a regular customer. African business owners need to do better.

I ordered food to be delivered to a Hotel. The geniuses sent me the soup to the Hotel but no swallow. On the delivery receipt, they used a red pen to cross out the eba and simply stated "refunded". When I phoned them to complain, they lied that they tried to call me and then they claimed I have been refunded before promptly hanging up the phone on me because of my frustrated tone I rejected the food and have not seen a penny of the £37 I paid. Stay away!! If they don't defraud you, they will get your order wrong. Very disappointing. I intend to pursue a claim against the company with the two females that spoke with me today named in the case, as this is pure, simple fraud. Because I am unable to believe that a Nigerian sent soup to a hotel and without ANY swallow, although it had been ordered from their menu in which they said the swallow was available!!!

I had edikaikon, it was a bit too salty. The price of their meal can also be cheaper as I know k-spice charges less

They don’t take orders over the phone apparently but say the food is all ready when you go and order face to face. So what’s the difference? Lol

Feel like home, tasty meals and you have various choices

I ordered ofada sauce from them, the spice level was unbearable even for a Yoruba person. It was so spicy it almost came out of my nose! I left them a review explaining my experience and they replied saying it must be because I am not used to their food. They went further to say that's how spicy ofada sauce should be so in other words, i should take whatever they dish out literally and figuratively! That was very bad customer service which cancels whatever okay experience I had with the other things I ordered from them. Please do better!

Tasteless, frozen , not worth any money. A rip off will never patronise any of the restaurant ever again. Rice and beans taste like poison.

I have eaten at a few African restaurants and the jollof, chicken pie and puff puff was especially good here, I'd recommend
