Very nice food especially the chicken jalfreji and chicken tikka biryani

One star and again it's just for the delivery man who knocked on my window. Sweet dishes, sweet sauce, super sweet naan (probably franginaane (frangipane)), I think they have all the salt in the bill £71 so €85

I got takeaway from here last night and it was good. I got a bogof offer on uber eats so I am leaving a review with that in mind as it was good value.

Have used this place a number of years now, staff always friendly, they can adjust the dishes to your taste, which has happens to me when I asked for extra chillies or something less chillies. The meal deal is fantastic, unbelievable value & quality for the price. Will easily feed 2 for the one person meal deal. Chicken Jalfrezi is really nicely spiced & flavoured. The joy rice is a must have. Will continue to use & highly recommended this takeaway. They are responsive to feedback too. Thanks to the chef & the staff. Keep up the good work.

Joy Spice never fails to impress! This was our second order, and once again, we were blown away by both the food and the service. Ordered a bunch of dishes to try and they were all brought out quickly and bursting with flavor. A delightful surprise was the complimentary naan and papadums, a thoughtful touch that added to the overall experience. Recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Food 2 hours late have given us the wrong food half of it missing and a very rude customer service

Ordered at 18.05 told it would be delivered by 18.45. 20.05 and countless phone calls which each told me 'it's on the way, 10 mins max' then angrily putting the phone down. Food is delivered at 20.05. Taste like absolute rubbish. 50 quid down the drain. Had I not been in a wheelchair I would have been down there to demand my money back, as the rude man on the phone said he couldn't refund as the driver had left (60 mins before he arrived) save your money go elsewhere. Awful place

Ordered via Ubereats but the food never arrived, so I phoned Joy Spice takeaway and they said no one answered the door so they gave the food to my next door neighbour. Firstly, I was at home and i didn't hear any knock and secondly, they didn't call me via phone to let me know that there was an issue with delivery. Tried to check with neighbour but they didn't answer the door, so have requested a full refund from ubereats.

Have been ordering from joy spice for a while. Always lovely. Highly recommend. Amazing food. Best in Welling.

Excellent flood and service takeaway and delivery only

Walked in and placed a takeaway order. The food was ready in 20 mins. Adraki chicken was good. The naan was ok but not how the Indian Naan is. Lemon rice is pulav rice with lemon and not the South indian lemon rice if you are expecting one.

I felt a bit peckish, and it was rather late on in the evening, so a quick call to Joy Spice to order some food to tide me by. Very pleasant and helpful on the phone, and I was advised that my order would be ready within 20 minutes as I opted to collect as they are walking distance away. My order included a Chicken Tikka starter (thank you), Bombay Aloo side dish and a Chicken Madras main course. My only complaint would be (and this isn't really a complaint in fairness) that it would be really nice if they used chicken thigh instead of breast. Nonetheless, all very yummy and ticked all the necessary boxes. Will order again soon. Keep up the good work Team Joy Spice.

Their food is amazing. For example they use very little oil in their food. We'll presented and packed at all times. Great taste!!

This restaurant received an order through Deliveroo and accepted. I am a diabetic and it was the last order of the evening. I tried to explain to both the driver and the manager that I understood why they couldn’t deliver it but queried how quickly I would get refunded as I needed to order quickly from somewhere else. I was trying to explain that they need to speak to Deliveroo about placing them in front of the wrong customers. Instead, I received a barrage of shouting in another language. In the end I was hung up on. If this is how you treat potential customers don’t be surprised when you get a bad review on Google. There was absolutely no need for the way this situation was handled and I would really recommend that your customers take their custom elsewhere. I am disgusted!!!

The worst curry I have ever had, it was a watery disgusting mess, complete waste of money, I couldn’t even eat it.The staff were rude and unhelpful. Definitely do not recommend to anyone.

I've ordered from this takeaway twice. First time the food was really nice, the second time, yesterday, it was even nicer! My order: pilau rice (yum); lamb jalfreizi (yum); Sag paneer (yum); Chicken tikka masala (yum); paratha bread (yum); onion thai (yes you guessed it, yum).

Food arrived disgusting late and portions are small

My first time using this restaurant and was quite pleased my food came within the hour delivery. Half my food was lovely the other half not so much.saying that I would use it again. The good weighed out the bad and it was hot.

First of all Food was awefull, full of food colouring in the curries and garlic in the chicken are chewie it didnt coocked properly, also in the biriani full of hard spices cardamom, bayleaves and all the ingredients are all on top, delivery came 25min late upon calling them when it supposed to come been told that driver is just about to leave the restaurent.

My post code is outside of their delivery area as I’ve moved. This was over a year ago and they still deliver to me after calling and requesting. Food pipping hot. Great service good portions and so well priced. Honestly call them if they don’t show up on delivery sites. I’m really fussy about food hygiene and quality. Always a go to for me and delivery guy is lovely too.

Wouldnt ever again order from there. First of all 2 hours late ordered at 5 recieved at 7.30 Called the restaurant told them my food was cold,bread was soggy popadoms was stale and the currys well (see for yourself) wouldnt even give it to a dog. It wasnt a curry it was a container of oil they wouldnt do anything about it. So went through justeat as they refused to give myself a refund. Absolutely disgusting customer service.

You know what, the food is actually quite nice from here. The delivery times however....... absolutely shocking. Its NEVER on time, and due to this, I wont be ordering from here again. Same excuse when we call them, "we're waiting for a driver". Its half an hour late as I write this review. Same as the week before, and the week before that, etc etc. If you take a chance, give them an hour and forty five minutes, from when you call.

I got order from them 5 past 8 I went 8.30 that's 25 minute it's not ready! a lady tried to help me by asking them if it's ready the guys was no no no no ready I called the guy how long his like didn't the lady tell you why should the lady tell me u tell me how long? talk to customer with manners

Last time we ordered food from here it was fantastic, it arrived bang on time and tasted great. This time we ordered food for 7.30. Got an email saying it would arrive at 7.45. It has however arrived at 5.45, two hours early. We are not all home and so will have to wait to eat it. Hopefully it doesn't go cold.

Honestly the best Indian takeaway in the area after trying our out a lot of Indian takeaways in the area. The owner is friendly as well. I would recommend to try their house specialities. Hope the taste remains the same for a long long time.

New owner and new menu. Food was really nice and price was very reasonable.

Food was ok. The rest of the experience was awful, food was over an hour late different excuse every time we called chasing.

Never order a takeaway and that too online. Ordered food and selected a delivery slot 45 min from then. but they only processed the order when I called at delivery time to check. And thereafter 30 minutes late, and rude enough to tell me that I ordered "late", mind you that's when they printed the order. They clearly need some customer service skills, culinary ain't no great either. My two cents - when you have a website which can take orders, make sure you check them and accept them too. Never again for me.

They have called me since this happened and were extremely apologetic. And have offered me a gift. They sound like they had a nightmare Saturday. Two and a half hours later and no sign of a curry! If I could give no stars I would!

There seems to be a new management which made the place alot more clean and profissional , also the food is alot tastey with a new chif working there.

Refused to deliver 40 mins before delivery due time having looked for the address and not finding it. Pathetic excuse for a delivery man. Restaurant refused to send order out again. Apparently manageress according to the person over the phone. Don't waste your time trying to order from here it already wasted two hours of mine.

Ordered food waited hour and half for delivery and then got phone call from driver saying he was lost gave him directions again and then called 20 mins saying he wasn't delivering. Wouldn't touch restaurant again was very rude and unhelpful
