It tastes great. The price is reasonable. The staff are friendly and kind. I was given a pack of shrimp crackers.

We ordered takeout on Friday and the food was delivered on time. The food tasted great and was fresh enough. It deserves a thumbs up!

I ate Xingmi, Shizhao chicken and dried shredded beef. They were both good. The shredded beef was good. Cuixing rice was good. Shizhao chicken was good.

The staff are very friendly and efficient and they recognise regular customers. Very warm and welcoming when you go to pick up and courteous deliveries.

Ordered the 1/4 duck the meat is green and 100% gone off tried to phone the restaurant multiple times with no answer also the sweet and sour chicken vegetables are completely raw and they just dribbled sauce on it. I'm very unsatisfied with this restaurant and their quality. The meal is inedible don't waste your time ordering from here!

Never eat from this place. Me and my girlfriend are suffering from headaches and stomach aches for 3 days now

Ordered told half hour this is 2 and half hours later not picking up phone and still no food!!! Birthday party ruined!

Really poor service and communication. Everytime we ordered the food has taken ages to come, over an hour. One time it was much later than they said. Another time they didn't provide the right food ordered and wouldn't accept the mistake. The young lad answering the phone was taking orders from the Chinese owner in the background who was rude and telling him what to say. The last time we tried to order online this Monday evening at 8pm and everything went through including our money, and it said the order was accepted and would be delivered at 9:15pm, and updated on the website saying the order was with the driver out for delivery..... it never arrived!!! We tried phoning several times and it just went to answer phone saying they were now shut until Thursday. Eventually at 10:15pm, an hour later than when it should have arrived I received a text saying Taste of China was unable to accept your order, your payment has been refunded. Disgraceful service. Get your website in order, your information updated on your website and Google when your open and closed and improve your service else you should be shutdown permanently!! We will not be ordering ever again from Taste of China!

Waited for nearly 2 hours for food, still didn't arrive and there was no answer on the phone as it said it was closed but open on their website and google. VERY poor service, will NOT be ordering from here again. Take your money, say the order is on the way then it never arrives!!!

Loved their plain boiled rice, chicken with mixed veg. I recommend this spot. Nice!!!

Best Chinese I've had in Dunstable and always decently priced and quick with service.

Love Taste of China we are lucky to have this as are local. Food is always piping hot and tastes great!

Our local Chinese was shut and we had used Taste of China before but sadly their prices are totally over the top for a takeaway and the food was mediocre. 2 starters and 3 mains £50. The Chinese we use works out approx £15 cheaper albeit slightly smaller portions but more than ample. I thought I was in the West End 🤣

Made an order for delivery, an hour and a half later no delivery. I gave them a call and they tell me they don’t have enough drivers and cancelled the order! Would have been nice if you had told us.

Ordered, waited over two hours and no response. Customer service is shocking and do NOT recommend.

Ordered a meal for taste of china at 17.00 hrs was told it would be with me in 45 to 1 hr ok at 18 .10 I phone the shop and he made a call to the driver I hear every word that was said. And the person on the telephone told me he was round the corner and would not be long then when I said I heard every thing you just said to your driver and what he said to you he just put the phone down if I had not paid buy card I would have told the driver to take it back I will never order from this place again I do not hold the driver responsible for this and still gave him a tip I do not like the phone put down on me if you do then I would say this is the place to order your take away from.

Absolutely awful, everything is dry, tasteless BURNT cold, I can’t believe they would let food this poor leave there shop, have you no pride guys. give this take away a wide birth it really was that bad. 🤮🤮

Gave me diarea. Should be called taste of illness. If the food isn't fit to be served throw it away. Don't sell it to your customers. Very bad. Avoid!!!!!

This place has gone down the drain. If there was a choice for no stars, I would have given them that as they do not deserve any stars at all. Food was terrible, everything was tasteless and stale. I think they just put everything in the microwave as nothing tasted freshly cooked at all. The batter on the sweet & sour chicken was so chewy and the chicken was cold in the middle. The chicken chow mein was lukewarm and dry. The curry tasted like sweet yellow liquid with no flavour at all, absolutely disgusting. with the price they are charging, surely they can afford to serve decent food to their customers. I will never order from them again and warn everyone to stay away!

Sadly this place can not get orders right. Despite what you order you will get something else. For some this isn't a problem, it is for vegetarians however. A shame as this was a convenient place and the food is generally ok, but we must move on elsewhere.

3rd time in a row (should have learnt the first) I’ve ordered vegetarian noodle and come home to noodles stuffed with meat (even after confirming the order). My partner who eats meat ate the food but got food poisoning from it and we agreed the meat was under cooked! It’s a shame as used to be so good but won’t be coming back after wasting money again!!

Ordered chicken curry and received sweet and sour had to order extra to get a delivery and then had to pay for delivery plus a service charge so our £16 order went up to £19 food was second rate as well so we won't be using these again.

It was okay, not a great deal of range for vegetarians. Relatively clean. The food was not heavily seasoned but not with any distinguishing tastes either. Sauces were a bit gloopy but again not heavily seasoned. Introduce a range please, for vegetarians who want more than broccoli in sauce.

Meals seam to vary had great ones then not so good.

First time ordering from Taste Of China and I have to say its one of the best Chineses i have had. Highly recommend to anyone.

Menu for two is at least for tree. Taste and lots of food. I recommend this place.

Awful food curry sauce was sweet no spice to it! Duck was just all fat hardly any meat wont be using again!!!

Always ordered from here always had good service until tonight, my order was wrong, so phoned to let them know and they blamed me for ordering wrong, now I order the same thing everytime I order from there. The chap even agreed I ordered the same thing and would not accept any responsibility for their mistake told me to just eat it. Well sorry I won't be ordering again. Just lost my custom after years of ordering from them.

FOOD POISIONING ROTTEN FOOD My wife and I ordered in on a Friday evening and was told the food would be an hour which we were happy with. She ordered a chicken dish and a duck dish for me 20 minutes later the food arrived, which we were a bit puzzled as the restaurant is a 10 minute drive from us. As I dug in I noticed parts of my food were cold while others hot, it seemed it had been heated up in the microwave. Nevertheless we continued to eat as we very hungry It wasn't till the following morning my wife was complain of severe stomach pains, shortly followed by myself. I soon deteriated and Was violently sick. I was zapped of energy and could barely walk I had severe food poisoning from rotten food. I urge anyone to steer clear of these guys. Do not order from here

We always get out food from Taste of China unless they are shut for the holidays.. We order MSG free where we can and whoever we speak to on the phone is always helpful with our order and confirms what might contain MSG. Food is always hot and fresh when delivered. Delivery is usually around 45min to 1hr.

Phoned to place order and found they are charging more than Just Eat for the order so i ordered online and they declined the order, First and Last time ordering. Both people I spoke to were very rude and need some customer service experience of how they talk to customers on the phone . Even tried here despite the previous reviews but safe to say looks like nothing has changed

Terrible. Whilst placing order, a customer in the takeaway started shouting in the background. Phone was put down, I hung on not sure if my order was complete, after 5 minutes phone was hung up. Rang back, eventually got through to be assured my order was on it's way. One vegetable dish had so much ginger and spice it was inedible and had to be thrown away. Vegetable chow mein was virtually all noodles in a nondescript brown sauce. Never again. Will use Tong Wong as usual in future.

Terrible customer service. Had to ring after waiting an hour to find out where my food was and didn't even get an apology. The driver then rang me and shouted at me that he had been at my front door for 10 mins which he wasn't, he wasn't even in the right area! Another 15 mins later I finally got my food and still no apology and the food was cold. Will stick to ordering pizza next time

Regular customer of taste of china. ordered through an online ordering app and they refused our order. A lot of messing around phoning TOC where i didn't even receive a sorry for the inconvenience or hows your uncle- just got told it was the app peoples fault. Cant see us doing business here again. Not a single offer of rectifying the poor service. bad show lads.

HI eveyone that reads this beware phoned taste of china 29.4.15 AND was worst food i have ever eating but worst of all no 75 sweet & sour chicken in batter THE CHICKEN WAS RAW AND NOT COOKED AT ALL IT WAS PINK AND BLOOD COMING OUT . SO RANG UP TO SAY FOOD WAS NOT COOKED AND THEY TOLD ME IT WAS OK AND WOULD NOT REPLACE SO HAVE CONTACTED HEALTH PEOPLE FOOD HAS BEEN SENT FOR TESTS I WAS NOT FEELING TO GOOD AFTER EATING SO MADE APPOINTMENT WITH DOC BEWARE
