First time of ordering and had a delivery which was prompt and delivered by a polite driver. Food was very good, and would definitely order from here again

As always they delivered my food in prompt time, which I am happy about, I mean I order food when I`m hungry so the sooner the better. I have used Taste of Bengal many times over several years and have never had reason to complain.

Absolutely put of superlatives for this place. it's the best value and is amazing quality, not even stingy with the meat at the price point and the meat is tender

This is my new go to curry house. Golden has lost its way, cottage is still good but this place is absolutely awesome and the pricing is very low for the high quality food. The whole tandoori chicken from here is juicy and tender whereas everywhere else it is rock hard. Really impressed with this place.

I always order from here, they do a great job on the curry. They customise my naan bread for me, and are very polite over the phone. The chicken pakoras are usually hit or miss tho, I think there must be two different chefs as they are completely different. Sometimes perfect, and others really bready, bland and undercooked. My advise is get the better chef to cook all the pakoras!

The food was absolutely delicious! I had a chicken tikka masala and pilau rice and they were delivered really early and was still piping hot. I will definitely buy again.

I ordered a takeaway on Saturday when we picked it up I cld not believe my eyes the vindaloo chicken was so small ab the size of a small walnut I asked for extra chicken which I didn't get if u blinked u wld miss the chicken it's so bad I wld never use taste of bengal again!!!

I have to take medication at least half an hour before I eat & my meal was delivered way too early & yet the app informed me it wasn't out for delivery.

I ordered chicken tikka and got lamb tikka instead. Don't like lamb and my partner tried it and said it was so dry he couldn't eat it. The only reason it got 3 star quality. All the rest was amazing as always and I've never been sent the wrong items before.

Food is always really good no matter what we order. Always good delivery time and normally ends up coming earlier than it says. 10/10 always recommend to anyone

Delivery was slightly early(great for us), husbands food was excellent and mine was great however chicken was slightly chewy. Normally great though! Always order here and will continue.

It came too early as I take medication prior to eating & hadn't taken them early enough & the onion bhajis gave us smelly windypops.

Food was really poor! Stale poppadum chicken was tasteless and had a funny texture and curries were not enjoyable at all 80% was thrown away! Really disappointed

Tandoori chicken- flavourless, it was just slathered with powdered spices and red colour, had no taste. It actually had lumps of goopy flavourless red powders. Food wasn’t hot. Came with rice, rice didn’t taste good too. Never ordering again!! And I’m Indian so I know what I’m talking about!!

Decent food, good portions and not all watery like so many places now! Set meal value was really good and pretty fast delivery time too.

I thought I’d try the lemon pilau rice this time and wow, amazing. Thank you taste of bengal for an even better dinner.

Food was great apart from the Garlic Naan which didn’t taste very well. Saying that I would use again but I won’t have a Naan next time.

Order was wrong, onion rice not coconut, plain nan not peshwari and missing mint sauce. I was overcharged had refund when I complained.

The smell when I walked in was so lovely it made my mouth water. The food was hot, Tasty and delicious. The meat just melted in your mouth, The sauces were creamy but not to salty. The Chicken Biryani was the best I have ever tasted !!! Thank you. We will be back .

I brought a chicken curry I could smell the chicken was off before I tasted it.

some of the lamb pieces were slightly chewy!!!! the sauce was great the naan bread was excellent. we loved the chicken too you can do with a little bit more in the salad...too many onion a little bit lettuce few carrot pieces i think you can look at that add cucumber etc the rice dishes were great #all in all we loved our food but will return to our usual indian restaurant the regency for any lamb khorai lamb thank you for your efficiency many thanks

Food is very tasty.. The meat is always succulent. Portion size very good. I get the meal for two and there is always plenty to share with my son who likes a big meal. All round really nice 😊

Great food, great service, very good choice on the menu and staff are happy to change dishes, my last visit we had the set menu, they had a spicy dish on the main menu that I had never had and asked if they would let me have this on the set menu, no problem. Best indian in town and one of the best places to eat locally. Would advise anyone visiting to try it out. The takeaway service is also great.

Lovely food as usual but delivered it way too early not normally a complaint but as we were expecting guests it had to kept warm in the oven for 50 minutes so not at its best. Otherwise excellent.

The meal was dreadful everything was smothered in salt. The masala tasted of just tomato purée and salt the bhajis were dreadful the lamb kurgan was just chewy the only thing that was ok was the naan breads and the pilau rice ,sorry will not order again

Never got what I ordered, orded totally wrong, not happy with my cold food and order chicken and got lamb, totally waste of money food went in the bin, waited too long for the food and no point calling will wait even longer for it to be rectify won't be ordering from here ever again

Got 25% discount opted for the meal for 2 lots of food easily do 3 people but everything very greasy. Value wise good quality wise not as good sadly.

Food is really good! Each item we class as 2 portions so ends up being a cheap takeaway!

Food was cold, keema rices had hardly any meat for the price you pay and the rice was hard, the madras was very bland and also only a few chunks of lamb which were quite fatty won't be ordering from here again.

Great food, but I ordered a Chicken tikka vindaloo. Got delivered a normal chicken vindaloo. Tried to report this via justeat app but they wanted me to claim a refund! Can't justify that as was still very nice! Just check orders please!

Amazing flavour, hot and fresha even the kids ate it and menu has really accurate descriptions of each dish too. Second time I’ve used them and will now be my go to Indian restaurant

The order was wrong The chicken was raw didn't order sushi. The attitude of staff was disgusting especially the woman on front desk the boss at least issued a refund but couldn't possibly pass it to us himself the woman slammed it on counter the rest of kitchen staff moaned NO would not recommend stopped of at asda on way back as more tissue will be needed when the people who ate it get ill I understand thi gs go wrong but the attitude sucked go toby carvery they were lovely

Absolute joke. I ordered food at 940pm. Got a message at 10pm saying they cancelled my order as they couldn’t deliver it. I am 5 mins walk from the restaurant and could’ve collected it myself if they were unable to deliver. Very annoyed that they left it 20mins to tell me they couldn’t accommodate my order. If they couldn’t accommodate my order they should’ve told me immediately not make me wait 20mins first.!

As always food was hot and very tasty. Normally delivered ahead of the expected delivery time but must have been very busy, they we’re very nice when I phoned them. Food is always very tasty and piping hot. They were only three minutes late, but only had the option of five minutes, so no biggy.

Haven't had take away in months and I'd forgotten just how tasty the food is here. Loved every mouthful.

Awful. Ordered food, it arrived without a dish. Called to tell them, they didn’t apologise and sent out my dish. That was inedible as it was too spicy. Then got told to use another takeaway service! It’s a shame as always ordered from here.
