Great local ,with regular entertainment and a great atmosphere

Locals pub but still made to feel welcome and worth a visit. Entertainment most weekends Wine sold by mini bottle which I'm not a fan of but guess that's due to lack of volume sold so makes sense.

Popped by on off chance as new to area was met with lovely staff and amazing food was very high quality and large portions dog friendly which was absolutely a bonus would come back and definitely recomend

Had our cribbage team Christmas meal at the 3 Jay's last night. The meal was exceptional, enormous homemade portions, served hot with a fabulous selection of vegetables at a very competitive price. Thank you.

Returned after our last experience was poor and aftermy sister had a roast last week. The roast was good, beef very over cooked it veggies and roasties all good and a generous portion of meat. All in all saved me cooking and washing up so happy days!

We stopped here for some food during our holiday. The staff really went out of their way to seat us away from the live music - due to my daughters ears being sensitive! Service was great and the food was amazing! Deffo one to visit if you're in the area.

My family and I just enjoyed a lovely Sunday roast at The Three Jays. The food was delicious and the portions sizes were very generous. The staff were very friendly and we will definitely be going back soon.

Great family pub. Has TV all over. Drink prices are reasonable.

Asked to taste a beer I've not had for some time. It was sour and had gone off. The barman did apologise and replaced it without question and turned the pump clip. How did they not know though? Had quite a nice feel to the place. The garden could do with some work and screening off from the road. They have some form of entertainment on most nights e.g. live music, dj or quizzes

To many dogs ...not enough dinner very little meat

Ham egg and chips was so nice, a great pint to wash it down. The staff are very friendly and nothing too much trouble.

It's improved in 1 way but it still needs to upgrade in another way.

Had entertainment on so we went in . Staff and locals were really friendly and made for a good night.

First visit here. Local to my In laws. Seemed pleasant enough. Could do with Sky sports.

OK,but the restaurant is dark and could do with a makeover. The outside could do with a lick of paint.

Such a weird clicky place. You walk in and the management just stare at you. No one smiles, so Some times I wee on the floor deliberately. Not very welcoming

Popped in about 3 today (Sun 22) for a half of Ale, but only beer on offer was too cold for my mature taste buds, so I decided on a single Kraken Rum. It proved to be quite delicious and what made it even better was the ambiance of the place and the company I was with. I'll definitely return there soon

I would not have fed dogs the meal I was presented with. Local drunks disturbing meal and trying to speak with our children. Might be your thing, wasn't mine.

Best Sunday dinner you'll ever eat out, roast potatoes like your mum makes them, can't fault their Sunday dinners, lovely veg, homemade Yorkshire puddings, good quality meat and the desserts are homemade as well, you won't go anywhere else for a roast I promise!!

Poor service the meat was different on oap plate to normal plate portions very small. Normal plate 3 small roast potatoes 2 thin slices of beef small dish of vegetables between 2 people absolutely dreadful 😫. Toilets were not very clean. For nearly £10 a plate we came home hungry big thumbs down 👎.

Great atmosphere. Friendly bar staff, quite busy but you didn't have to wait to be served, think 5 bar staff working. Great pint of Guinness, Highly recommended.

Had Sunday dinner here today the food was 10 out of 10 the staff were great and they was big portions very friendly pub havnt had a roast dinner that good for a long while beewise security will definitely be coming back here spot on

Please don't look at this pub and judge it, yes it needs some work done on it, However the food and staff are 5 star. The decor is not that important when you have the service and food we got, tbh I would be more than happy if some of the so called upmarket pubs in our town were like this. Thanks for the meal and making us feel so welcome.

Only been once so far but my impression of the pub was very good good beer at fair prices and locals were polite and helpful. Staff were very knowledgeable so overall very impressed and will definitely go back

Lovely meal but very scruffy in there. Seats were all stained . Friendly landlady but strange atmosphere. Obviously just for the locals

I was attending a wake in this public House the HOT and cold Buffet was superb the bar staff and local people were very welcoming. I will definitely be visiting this place again I strongly recommend you try this great place 👌😁

We're on holiday at St. Osyth and was a little worried about getting to watch the start of the Premier league. No need to worry though as the staff at The Three Jays could not do enough for us. Due to the friendliness of the staff we also decided to stay for food which was also really good and we didn't regret it. If you're in this area definatlely drop in for some good food and drink!

Visited this place whilst holidaying in Jaywick last week with my wife and dog. All three of us were given a warm welcome by the staff on our arrival in this nice clean pub. They serve a very wide range of beers and spirits. Primarily we had gone there too eat and the food served did not disappoint, absolutely lovely and not expensive at all. Also, another redeeming feature of this place is it's regular customers/locals. They are a very friendly crowd, very nice people indeed. If you are ever in this part of Essex, then you really must visit The Three Jays, you will love it.
