delivery was good..food was ok..not biggest portion size these days,,special curry was a bit fruity,,beef wss chewy.,and chicken satay was not spicy or nutty more sweet n sour,,had pineapple in it?..spring rolls were lovely though..

Worst Chow Mien I have ever had, very wet sloppy, starchy noodles. The Blackbean as well was bland. The fried rice was boiled rice or at least it appeared to look and taste that way. Chips over priced and had a strange taste to them... I wont't be returning here. This is not teh taste good I used before, albiet that being a few years ago now. Avoid. Shame.

Taste good is always excellent but the bbq spare ribs haven't been as good as before for some reason. Think it depends on the chefs that's on probably but everything else was excellent

I've used Taste Good a lot and have never been let down. However tonight I thought I'd try BBQ pork ( char sui) which arrived in hardly any sauce and what I did have was very watery..the rest of the order were in plastic containers as per usual and hot, but this was in a polystyrene container and cold.. Will not order again..

Very happy with our meal but chips a bit cold... Not much can be done about that... We will definitely order again as the food is good and well presented.

Food was lukewarm rice was pretty tasteless lacking any kind of flavour.

Was absolutely amazing! Moved to the area recently and this is definitely the best Chinese we’ve had.

I know these things can be difficult to predict but I heard nothing else, such as an eta update, after my confirmation. The lemon chicken is in a sweet but bland sauce with no taste of lemon & a single tiny slice of lemon on top. Had to add quite a bit of salt to the chicken noodle soup. Won't have time to try the other items. Spent over £25 & didn't even get free prawn crackers. It's 2 years since I had a Chinese takeaway, I usually treat myself on my birthday. They seem to close very early now

I was given quite a long expected delivery time so was very pleased when it arrived well before that time. Food was still hot, well packaged and tasted amazing. First time using but will definitely use again.

My wife and I ordered a carry out from Taste Good recently and thoroughly enjoyed the food and reasonably quick delivery service. Ordered online and food was hot and was good.

Really disappointed. We had asked for no onions or veg in the chicken fried rice but they also gave us no veg in our chicken satay. chicken was like rubber and portion sizes were awful. would not order again

the sweet and sour chicken was like a soup, really watery sauce. the banana fritters were black when I cut into the banana. went in the bin. £3.50 for a rotten banana. never again. this place used to be the best, not anymore.

Food was good as always, delivery man was super rude and called me shouting as I didn’t hear him knocking even though I was in the same room, and threw the food at me shouting ‘other people are waiting’, was 20 minutes early and there was no update from the restaurant to say it would be early. Good food ruined by sour delivery person.

Fancied a Chinese takeaway for my Xmas dinner. Got enough food to do 2 sittings and it was really nice. *Sweet & sour chicken Chicken fried rice Chips/Curry sauce*

So confused by the 5 star reviews. Soups were bland, chicken was overcooked and tough. Quite small portions. Not a good Chinese.

Used to be a great Chinese mean here but the quality seems to get worse . The onions in my meal last night were inedible , had to remove them one by one. That’s the last meal I have there .

My most favourite restaurant ever for over 20 years. We live over past Glasgow and regularly drive through for take outs, every meal has always been delicious, highly recommended:)

Fast to collect but the food was incredibly bland, especially the chicken satay. It was very oily and nothing had been seasoned.

We have ordered from Taste Good many times before and have been well satisfied. However, on this occasion, though the food was generally of great quality, and was hot and delivered nice and quickly, today the dishes were strangely bland. The noodles didn't taste of much, the chilli was not very chilli and the sauces just didn't taste quite right. We'll give it a wee while and then try them again - it is possible a stand-in chef was on duty tonight.

First time we've ever been disappointed with a Taste Good order. My wife said her crispy chilli beef was soft, lukewarm and didn't taste right so it had to be binned unfortunately. The container lid wasn't on one of the soups properly so it was all over the bag too. Very disappointed.

Sorry to say the chicken in the chow mein was huge bits of chicken very off-putting with not much flavour overall.mushroom portion was tasteless thin and runny bland sauce so its a thumbs down from me.

Order was wrong they gave us duck spring rolls instead of chicken and cheese parcels . Which nobody in the house eat and food was Luke warm tonight. But any other time we have had an order been spot on and great food

We have been using Taste Good for many years. Always reliably good. I don't know why there are some negative reviews. Food always arrives early. Nice and hot. Had to wait for the spring rolls to cool down! The prawn toasts are so good. The most prawns I have ever seen! The veggie options are good- special mention to the Chinese mushrooms and broccoli. So good. Also,beef ho fan and the kung po are family favourites. Overall a really good Chinese. Highly recommended.

Spring Rolls, Lemon Chicken and Fried Rice, to be honest all tasted pretty average, it wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great, it was just ok and filled a hole. I won’t be in a rush to order again though.

Too far up their own asses now I have intermittently ordered from here since they opened and I honestly would not recommend anyone to order from here. Got far to big for their boots and the food is pitifully nowhere near as it used to be. And sadly their customer service is so sadly lacking now, completely disrespectful staff answering the phone with no desire to look after their customers anymore

I did not receive the Diet Coke bottle that was on my order. The driver said he would tell the takeaway but by the time I realised he hadn't returned they were closed. Also the Salt & Chilli Chips were overcooked to the point they were solid bricks and inedible.

Was looking forward to getting our food but was disappointed when it arrived. Food was warm. We ate food as We were hungry. Don’t think we will be ordering from there away.

The restaurant managed to get my address wrong compared to what was on my order, when the driver finally arrived the food was cold and not of usual standard. The driver informed me I had to contact the restaurant to try and rectify the mistake myself which further delayed it sadly.

Been a customer for 13 years but the food was beyond disappointing! The prawn toast and wafer paper prawns were tasteless with an awful sauce. Normally I enjoy these starters. The Tom yum soup was lacking too. Such a shame. I’m really doubtful that I’ll ever place an order again! What an utter waste of money!

Best Chinese in Edinburgh without a doubt! Perfect every time!

We went as two couples recently and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the friendly service. We all thought that the starters were excellent, particularly the wafer paper prawns and the spare ribs.

Fab restaurant & takeaway. Driver called me as I didn't hear him at my door, Excellent customer service.

I'm not going to order anything from this place again, first and last time Ordered a beef chow mein and got a box of noodles dripping in oil with a few vegetables in it and a singular bit of beef. Couldn't eat any of it. Do better

Unfortunately the food quality is very average. Plus the wontons’ picture is misleading- instead of dumplings you just get big deep fried crackers.

Not what I was expecting. Chicken fried rice was a tub of white sticky rice with some chicken on top and Kung Po chicken wasn’t hot or spicy and the cashew nuts had been replaced with PEANUTS!? Mushrooms were nice but on the whole I wish I hadn’t bothered and won’t order from here again.

Excellent salt and chilli chicken

Food was very tasty. One of the few takeaways in Edinburgh where the chicken tastes like chicken and not just rubber. Would have liked some sauce with my deep fried shredded chicken. Found it to be very tasty but lacking the sauce. Also, salt and chilli chips are too hard

Great food and service as always

The food was piping hot on arrival and tasted very fresh. Lovely egg fried rice and the ginger pork was delicious. We ordered here on a friends recommendation as our usual Chinese take out was closed and we would definitely consider this one for our next take out meal. Thanks!

I put in the leave a note for restaurant section that I wanted plain noodles which they are called anyway but with no veg and when received had a lot of veg in it, no point in asking for note if it’s going to be ignored. Chips came in cardboard box which had ripped due to steam and made them taste like the box. Other food was good but dissatisfied with half of order

Mostly disgusting and half thrown out. Not very cost effective! Salt and chilli chips were mostly hard end bits, like cheap frozen ones. Salt and chilli chicken was chewy also. Barbecue wings were nice enough, but not great when you can't eat rest of the meal.

Food wasn’t nice at all, and we didn’t get any of the drinks we paid for. Crispy beef was amazing but the only thing to taste nice.

The food is always lovely but 2 out of the last 3 orders were cold when delivered. Kind of defeats the purpose when the food needs to be heated up.

I love the food from this place it does amazing crispy shredded beef in honey chilli sauce
