Taste Cafe in Glasgow City

They advertise gluten free food when next to nothing is gluten free. It is all cooked in the same fryer, chips , fish etc with normal food. The staff were very dismissive of this and stated “well yeh it’s not completely gluten free “. The 2 girls on the desk were incompetent (or rude I can’t decide ) When speaking to her she said “let me finish” and then we don’t write the menu. Food ordered for other family members. The chips were tasteless & the pizza base was like cardboard. The lady who brought out food was pleasant enough but the other 2 girls were still looking over at the table obviously thinking the earlier situation was funny. Wouldn’t go back.

Visité con la familia y no me impresionó. El personal está de pie y parece que preferiría estar en otro lugar y simplemente llevar el ambiente de la cafetería a un nivel bajo. En cuanto al café, no hay mucho que decir allí. Parece una taza de agua sucia traída directamente desde el Clyde. La galleta que tenía era bastante agradable para ser honesta, pero ese es el mejor cumplido que podía darle al lugar. Tengo algunas cosas que pueden ayudar:  1) Obtener personal para dar la bienvenida a los clientes con sonrisas, no con el ceño fruncido  2) hacer un buen café, no agua de río

El servicio es un poquito lento, pero el café estaba muy ocupado. Ideal para el almuerzo con un menú razonable, muchos asientos en un área de paredes de vidrio en el otro extremo del centro. Las pizzas parecen ser las favoritas, pero se servía una gran cantidad de pescado y papas fritas.

El café en el centro de ciencias básicamente está bien. La sopa que tenía estaba bien, pero las pizzas que teníamos obviamente estaban metidas en el microondas, y estaban secas, con una costra dura y no valía la pena el dinero. Úselo solo si está presionado.

Apareció en un bocado rápido a la hora del almuerzo mientras en el museo. . . El lugar estaba muy roto. Sólo tenía sándwich, patatas fritas y una taza. Lo suficientemente decente, buen sándwich fresco. El personal se mantuvo en la parte superior del claro y limpiando las mesas. Casi a la par con otros establecimientos en museos, etc. con respecto a la gama de alimentos y el precio

We all had lovely food from this cafe very quick service and friendly staff . We had beautiful fish and chips and kids finished them all.

It was VERY busy when we were in and becasue it was a raint cold day it was a bit hot and stuffy. The porice is in line with the rate you pay at these kinds of places - not cheap but then you expect that don't you? The burger I had was delicious. Fair play, this a decent effort and a cafe in a busy attraction, I've been to many worse!

Had an early lunch at this busy cafe with indoor and outdoor seating hot and cold food on the menu . This is a bright airy well lit cafe with outstanding views of the Clyde Waterfront. Tables were spotlessly clean and cleared fast as soon as people left them Typical cafe menu with Good portions of Fish and Chips and Piazza

We opted for sandwiches although we were offered a full menu on entry. Our food was tasty and the child with us liked his selection too!

Situated on the ground floor at the far end of the Centre with magnificient views of the Clyde ,plenty of outdoor seating in good weather this is a very busy cafe . With a selection of Sandwiches ,Wraps hot and cold food it provides most of what kids are looking for .The menu is not big for adults . The staff are cheery and do a great job under pressure this is a busy busy place at lunch time
