Taste in Chorley

I have only just realised on looking at the menu, I was over charged by £4.00 for my takeaway meal. I had the special fried rice which was undercooked and had tiny pieces of meat and about two prawns. It was overall tasteless. I was recommended this place. To be fare the chow mein and the duck pineapple my son and his friend had were reported to be delicious. Usually special fried rice has mixed meats and prawns. In it. The pieces of meat were that to tiny apart from the chicken which I could identify as chicken. I would not go back again personally due to the meat overcharge and the poor special fried rice.

Fantastic food and at very reasonable prices. We always order off the banquet meal, soup, mixed starter, duck and then main course. Fae is always so welcoming and looks after us. Food is served piping hot and of very good quality. I would definitely recommend Taste Mandarin. 👍🏼👌🏼

Just bought food and it’s not fresh - please avoid

Given the wrong order. Took it back & they wanted to argue. Enjoy the £12 you stole from me. Food is rubbish only went there as its next door & I was starving

Under new management so the jury is still out....for the time being at least they only take cash but the food was good on our visit and big portions.

Had a munchie box, dry beef chow mein and extras, since there is new owners I wanted to see what it was like, I was not disappointed! 10 out of 10 absolutely lovely fresh hot food and outstanding customer service.. a massive thankyou to the lady who came to tesco with the order haha, we will be returning.

Reasonable Chinese takeaway prices not to bad

Sorry but this isn't just an indictment of 'taste'. I tried it hoping that the chicken curry had some REAL chicken in it and not the tasteless water injected nonsense that ALL Chinese takeaways use. Needless to say I won't be going here again or ANY other Chinese for that matter.

VERY RUDE. I overlooked these terrible reviews and thought I would give it a chance. I called and asked whether I can sit in and eat, to which the rude cockney man said "no it's a Chinese takeaway". I'll go elsewhere then.

I like this place. My favourite dishes are Singapore chow mein and the House special chow mein. I like them so much I never try anything else, haha. Full of those skinny noodles, chicken & pork, king prawns and vegetables. Delicious.

Won Ton Soup is excellent,Chicken Sweetcorn soup excellent and beef chow mein excellent. The only bad thing about this place is the chips are dry you can't eat them. They bbq ribs are nice but the noodles are really salty that's the only down side about this place

Ordered a takeaway for 7 15pm..... it arrived at 6.15pm.... I hour early! No-one was hungry it was a waste of food which to be honest was not great. Spring rolls were barely warm

OKish, but def not worth the wait of 1 and a half hours. It was hot, but chips had been microwaved several times, like strips of leather!! Wont bother with them again!!!

Average for a Chinese, offers all the usual dishes which are cooked as standard. nothing stands out and you can't pay by debit card which is ridiculous is in this era.

My 16 year old found this place a couple of months ago & we eat a take away from taste at least once a week as a family ,can't fault it food is fresh just amazing fast delivery too won't go anywhere else now we have found you. Thank you

I was recommended Taste Chinese Take Away on Whitegate Drive Blackpool. Although we do not get take away meals regular we decided that with the weather being so cold we would treat ourselves, instead of going out. We both agreed it was the best take away we had eaten for some time and will be using them again. Recomend
