I’ve been visiting Tas restaurants for over 15 years now and was always the highlight of my trip to London; I’ve always recommended to friends and family. Slightly disappointed this evening. I appreciate there’s been a rapid increase in the cost of running a business over the last few years, but not only has the food prices increased significantly the quality and quantity has deteriorated a lot. This coupled with a 13% service charge made this a very expensive meal for two. It was an OK meal but nothing like it used to be. Not sure I’ll rush back. Sorry.

It was very nice to meet Ms. Derya, who welcomed us very warmly at the restaurant we went to during our London trip. The food was excellent, I can say that we ate the best meat there. If you come to London, you should definitely try it. We would like to thank DERYA HANIMA TAS RESTAURANT for its warmth, presentation, sincerity and hospitality.

I’m in heaven. Still here enjoying a nice relaxing Saturday afternoon linner. It’s my first time. I liked the atmosphere, so I walked in and was greeted by a friendly staff. He was so friendly and empathetic about my disability and allergies. I had the Pilic Kubasti (grilled dark meat chicken served with couscous and salad made of mixed greens with pickled onion). The chicken was cooked perfectly. Good portion and went really well with their housemade tasty mild hot sauce. Made sure it wasn’t from a bottle. Loving the music and the manager, Oz is so nice and down to earth. The staff truly makes a huge difference in one’s dining experience. I’m definitely coming back and you must visit TAS BOROUGH.

Very good brand, discovered more than 10 years ago and it is always a pleasure to return to Tas when we come to London. Tas Borough is a really nice place, with very attentive service, the food is delicious and generously served. A stop not to be missed in London!

I recently visited Tas Restaurant in Borough and everything was just as it should be.A charismatic guitarist accompanied our dinner, enhancing the entire experience. I was delighted that he gave me the chance to take a photo. The ambiance was pleasant, and the service was excellent. I particularly recommend the tabbouleh – it was outstanding. I will definitely be coming back!

Booked a table with Ahmed who promised to put us by the window after I told him we will have lunch after my daughter’s graduation on Friday, that took place at the Royal Festival Hall. He also agreed to look after us and offer a treat too. Ahmed was polite and helpful over the phone. When we arrived around 1:30 he was not there and the lady waitress wanted to put us on a different table but I had to insist on sitting by the window the weather was about 27degrees We ordered the food for 7 people 6 + 1 child menu for £254.97 we found the bill quite high but came to understand the reason behind it was the confusion in their pricing that any set menu for 2 is actually per person which I never seen anywhere else. Misleading and not honest place at all. The quality of the food is not that great for the highly priced dishes. We asked for some lemon slices and we got 3 very thin slices. The food lacked taste and that special something about it. It was after we paid the huge bill that they offered us a cup of tea but the taste was a tea bag not a proper Turkish tea. It was only when we were about to leave they offered us Baklawa. So all promises from Ahmad to look after us and have a treat for my daughter we’re not met. Or met very late and not in a happy genuine way. The waitresses are grumpy not welcome nor smiling, very dry Treatment from the 3 members of staff we death with. So disappointed with the choice of restaurant. I was not after freebies but more after a nice service where you feel they really care… no one knew really the occasion we were celebrating nor anyone congratulated my daughter on her celebration. I Do Not Recommend this Restaurant.

Lovely restaurant with good service and the food was good. We ordered a set meze for 2, and we were stuffed... we couldn't finish it! Our table was a little small, which made it a bit over crowded to eat, but we managed. Definitely come back again!

I loved the service and the ambience. The starters were really tasty and well presented. I ordered the chicken shish as my main which sadly didn’t have any flavour at all. I had added chilli sauce and squeezed a lemon wedge to add flavour. I didn’t finish my main meal.

We had the tas special and it was the best lamb I’ve had in a while. Service was quick And the server was very nice. Definitely a place to recommend. Gave us a free desert as well❤️

Perfect food, so lovely service everything is in the high level, especially live Turkish music creates amazing atmosphere. I spent my time here so nice. I am so glad to visit here, it was one of the most memorable days in my life, thank you for everything.

I was passing through the road and I saw this restaurant, which was so attractive and appealing and Most importantly it was Halal restaurant, So I went there with my family, Oo man food was so delicious and that environment was so cool ❤️🥰 I will definitely go back there again someday Highly recommended ❤️

I've always loved this mini chain but tonight was very disappointing. Spent just shy of £100 on a very ordinary meal. My partner's chicken casserole was tasteless and barely warm and he couldn't bring himself to finish it. When I mentioned it to the staff they seemed very uninterested. What a shame. A wasted £100, a little light guitar playing not withstanding.

Great Turkish food with great ambience :)

I visit Tas Borough daily for lunch and am consistently impressed. The lentil soup is exceptional, bursting with rich flavors and perfectly seasoned. Their variety of salads is also delightful, each one fresh, vibrant, and creatively prepared. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service.

We had a family dinner for three people, enjoying the Renk Meze set menu. This was a really enjoyable combination of dishes. The portions were generous. The staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. We plan to return.

Having previously eaten at this Tas branch, I was very disappointed overall by the meal tonight. An empty restaurant, very small portions of (overpriced) starters, very average chicken and lamb kebabs - not great at all. Topped off by getting the bill with the 13% service charge included .. only for the bill to be replaced by a second higher one because the waiter had forgotten to charge us for two glasses of tea we had ordered..embarrassing and very unprofessional. You can find better elsewhere. We wont be going back..

I invited my friend for iftar, it was all chaos, we both ordered fish and shepherd's salad, the taste of the food was zero, my friend left it as it was, I was very embarrassed, my friend went back with our plates as they were, no one even asked why you didn't eat, they took the plates and left, we ordered dessert and tea, tea came, no dessert came. We said let's get up, we asked for the bill, the desserts were not added and we told them not to come, but no one knew about the desserts, the desserts were forgotten, the waiters did not have a smiling face. We got up, the waiter came to the table, said sorry, there was a mess in the desserts, these are our treats and I decided never to go there again.

Portions were generous, kept us filled up without feeling we ate way too much. Good quality food, the meze had the perfect portions along with the main dish. Service was quick and the vibe was really nice. I highly recommend!

The restaurant was nice enough. Great location and lovely relaxed atmosphere. The starters were good and plentiful. Loved the borak and the cheese/mushroom starter. Mixed Grill was a let down as the meats were a big dry. However the Kofta stew type dish was so lovely, the stew was seasoned well and the potatoes cooked well. Staff were nice enough, service was a bit slow. I would possibly come again but maybe dry some of the more wetter dishes like the stews.

Really good chicken grill with couscous, and salad. Had hummus and their delicious bread as a starter.

We started with Mezes, they were great and the only reason this got any stars. We then however had grilled mains which were overcooked/dry. In terms of service the waiter was trying but kept forgetting things, didn't seem to know his own menu and there just generally seemed to be a communication issue. They were trying with the atmosphere with some live music but it was far too loud for the occasion meaning all dinner conversation was ruled out as we were having to shout at each other all night.

The meat was dry and didn’t get the smell of charcoal like you usually do in a Turkish restaurant. The service from the waiter was great though. He did his best to accommodate us. Just the standard of the food is not to the standards of most turkish/greek restaurants.

Mixed grill and chicken casarole was so nice!!! Lovely Atmosphere, I asked for iced mocha but it was not on the menu still they made it for me!!

Truly delicious, generous portions and great choice of good for vegetarians.I had the aubergine and tomato dish (either couscous) which was beautifully cooked, my friend had the prawn casserole dish snd said how nice it was.Staff friendly and helpful too, the only change I would make would be to have more than one vegetarian option on the 2 course set menu. I definitely recommend this restaurant (for couples as well as groups)!

I love this place. Tas has a number of outlets and related restaurants and delis around London, but this one is my favorite - for decades. They have been consistently consistent - great dishes, great service and great setting in a convent location. Prices have gone up a bit but only to compensate for some inflation but it's still great prices. Highly recommended.

Very poor food. Nothing freshly cooked. We ordered Mixed Grill, Tas Iskandar as the main dish, all were stale foods, cooked long ago, all were frozen and were warmed in woven and served. The bread was dry and cold, poor in taste. Asked for fresh bread, they showed an excuse that it's sunday and the bakery is off.

Pre-theatre dinner, excellent service. They are well rehearsed in catering for theatre goers. Offering high quality food, hot, tasty, fresh ingredients and excellent customer service. Never once had a bad experience here. Been multiple times.

We had lunch, I picked their most expensive charcoal cooked meal and it was very disappointing. Also the restaurant was so cold.

Sitting waiting for all of the starters to be served - we are a party of 6 and onl2 have arrived. Had to ask for our drinks order to be taken. Then gad to ask for our food order to be taken. Not good experience so far

I can say that it is a place where delicious products from Turkish cuisine are served. It is also a very authentic place in terms of live music. Their staff are also very friendly and helpful people. I can say it's a place worth trying.

I came last night and I loved this place. The food quality was soo good.I ordered Hums,falfel, and Kofte with rice and it was so delicious. After the food I ordered baklava and kunefe. In my opinion it’s the best dessert I ever eat. Overall its must visit place in london.

The food is amazing! We have enjoyed an office lunch for 10 people and the service was 5*. Portions were very generous as well so no one left the table hungry😊. I would highly recommend Tas Restaurant to any Turkish food lover.
