TARTAN GUYS DUNDEE in Dundee City

Have been a regular at 5 guys after my dad recommending it. Food has always been top notch, the Chicken Punjabi masala is up there with the best I've had, a nice thick sauce and not runny like other takeaways in the area. The Peshwari nan bread is also really really good. Have also tried the chicken parmo which I'm not sure any other takeaway in Dundee does, and it was a tasty change, great value and large portions. Would definitely recommend.

Wouldn’t get from here again. Missing part of the order then no one picks up the phone. Never did get refund or the missing items despite the driver telling me what I confirmed was in the bag.

This place is so bad for food the wrap was basically made from cheap chicken strips that u would get from the frozen section in farm foods took 2 bites and instantly felt sick don’t get from this place save your money and your health

Wrong order delivered and no answer when I phoned them to complain

The meat was dry, chips bit dry and portions wasn't great. The delivery driver even tried walking away with my £4 odd change as never went to even try and give it me just gave me the food and walked away after giving him the money

Ordered the meal for 2 veg pakora lovely poppadoms soft but ok wife ordered veg dupiaza only veg is small bits o carrotts n peas phoned t complain said theres corriander in aswell obviously bag o frozen veg wont b back

2 kebabs sauce and salad separate £16 it cost me wouldn't even fed 2 children absolutely fuming I've paid for that and it was horrible

Kebabs are great and the chilli sauce is amazing !

Won't be back here..food is good when they actually get your order right but twice in the last few weeks the curries have been wrong and some items missing even after you get them to repeat your order back to you on phone..then you have the inconvenience of having to return . Too much hassle, will be going elsewhere in future

This place has massively went downhill since the name change. Ordered from here twice in the past month. First time, ended up with wrong curries and no chips and had to go back to collect the correct curries. Food was actually good when we eventually got the correct order so gave it another chance. However, the man on the phone was actually clueless when it came to taking the order. Asked him to read the order back on the phone and he got it wrong, had to correct him, and still somehow ended up with 2 different curries when I had ordered 2 of the same curries! What hope do you have when you can't even get the basics right! Won't be back.

Ordered fir collection then half the order missing when we got home called and told they will give us a discount on next order. Opened the kebab and it was absolutely disgusting really dry and pizza under cooked called to complain and was told that she couldn’t understand what I’m saying and I’m Scottish. Will never be back or recommend

Ordered chicken kebab pieces of very dried chicken hardly any salad just a handful of lettuce and one very small pot of sauce . Will not be back

Absolutely horrible . Stay away . Got a chicken Tikka massala which I did not order . Omg never chicken Tikka. Horrible . The chicken itself was meant to be Tikka, it wasn't it was soggy chicken . Absolutely horrendous service they burn your food beyond Recognition on top of of that the food tastes weird I seriously distrust the hygiene of this place after a few incidents of ordering from here uggghh disgusting never again.

1st time was ok but nothing special

Phoned for a collection and was told to come in 1 hour. 35 minutes in, get a call saying the food was ready 10 minutes ago. I understand mistakes happen but we got no apology for it. Not even a simple "I'm sorry about that". Did offer 30% off next order but in all honesty, that gesture will not be taken up as the food was below average and the kids meals are tiny. Box of chips missing. Really poor over all.

Bought a kebab from here when it first opened and it was so good, so fresh. Bought one tonight....it was hard, tiny scraps of meat like it was leftover from days ago, no sauce, very little salad. Disgusting!!!! I won't go back.

First time trying pizza was delicious and delivery was only like 20 mins, would deffo order again 👍

So so poor. Donner was dry and hard, chilli sauce was average and place looks untidy and unclean. Gone downhill so quickly.

Very tasty food, I had the lamb Tikka in a wrap and some pakoras. The cabbage was really nice too. Was that a hint of apple in it I tasted? Dad had a kebab and couldn't finish it. Not for lack of trying or desire - just a very generous portion :) Would definitely go there again.

Pretty lousy meal for 2! Tried as 15%off online..wish hadn't bothered. Majority went to bin. Burnt seek kebab..chewy pakoras..even chewier lamb bhuna..chicken dish was sickly. Poorly made..nothing authentic about the cooking..sloppy and tasteless..keema naan was dire. Definitely wouldn't go back. Enough to put anyone who enjoys Indian food off for good👎

staff are top class, very friendly, food is very good, if you're looking for a takeaway id highly recommend this place

Burnt pizza was a bad sign, I mean how on earth do you burn a pizza FFS ! Chicken Chaat... what was that ? ... I’ve had many Chicken Chaats up and down the country as well as overseas, but none looked or tasted like that poor excuse we just binned. Whoever prepared our food has clearly NO PRIDE in their cooking or knowledge of the cuisine they’re supposed to be making. We’ll definitely not be using this place again under its present management and staffing arrangement.

What an absolute shambles they are. I placed a large order and when they finally delivered it was wrong. So we called them back and then they proceeded to still deliver the wrong items. The food was burnt and inedible and then they wouldn't pick up the phone again. I called the following day to get my money back and s I'm waiting for a call back. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY BE AT MY DOOR.

I think the naan bread was from asda, the chicken pakoras were definitely pre heated, been going for years won't be back

A delivery driver walked in off the street an started handling food. Didn't bother washing his hands. I'll not be back.
