Me and my friend orded a kabab and a cheese burger and It was the worst

Top take away. Lots of meat. Either in mixed wrap or in chicken calzone. Reasonable priced. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back .

I dined in and got amazing hot fresh food the place was neat and the service was amazing, they were really welcoming , overall you guys should come here also good for families please order the doner it's to die for 🤤

Best ever my family and I came the juiciest kebab ever and amazing doner I had other reservations but they got canceled I was pretty Disappointed by the reviews this was amazing the lamb doner is a go-to all though amazing 👏 😋 😍 😉 👌

Ok so we only wanted some naan and Poppadoms to go with food we already had at home but really not good, naan was undercooked and doughy, Poppadoms were seriously oily. Overall the shop doesn’t give the vibe of being all that clean or cared for. :(

This occurred in December, however I posted to the wrong Azaad by accident. Received the wrong food and then when I went back the server was quite rude and it took a further 25 minutes to get the correct food. The new food was then extremely watery, didn’t taste right and had clearly been microwaved as it was volcanically hot. Would have been a 2 star if they hadn’t been so rude when asked to fix it. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Very bad I went in 26th of January 24 and I got pizza and chips and cheese for me and my pal and pizza was over cooked and chips on the chesse is very cold like no been cooked I went in told tham about it they said messege WhatsApp the owner I did and then I told tham what happens and then got blocked this is not very good for the business also I also put it on social media also to let people know and everyone saying it’s bad place DONT GO HERE GUYS Also waited really 30mins just in the shop also no take that long and the girl was very cheeky also at the front

Was in Dundee other day .. very hungry .. found azaads tandoori takeaway .. food smelled delicious in takeaway .. ordered a special burger and chips .. nice big portions and very yummy indeed

0 stars if I could. Order took over 2 hours to arrive. Phoned numerous times to be told “with you in 5 minutes”, “it’s just left the shop”, and “the driver has tried to call you cause he couldn’t find your house”…my call log says different. Food turned up eventually congealed and soggy.

Ordered chicken tikka and lamb madras . Both were so tough we couldn’t eat it . Both dishes ended up in bin . Very disappointed . Won’t be ordering from here again

Would give it 0 stars if I could.. I most certainly would not recommend ordering anything at all from here. Doner or so it's meant to be was just rancid. Pitta bread was inedible, was stale and brick hard I'm sure it had been sitting on the counter since pre COVID. Also didn't receive everything I had ordered but maybe that one was for the best.

Worst kebab I've ever had: dry meat, dry naan (which cost an extra £3!) and the woman serving kept putting her fingers in her mouth whilst serving. Oh, and she had to be reminded to give me my change. Threw most of it out. Would not recommend.

Enjoyed the food, piping hot and tasty. Their magic munchy box is a treat to try.

We ordered a takeaway for 4 people, 4wks ago....it was a disaster! After waiting over 2hrs for it to arrive, and eventually having to go outside in pouring rain to meet the delivery driver who couldn't find our house.... Some of the order was missing (portion pakora), some was wrong (Not garlic mayo as requested on wrap) and EVERYTHING was stone cold ! I immediately called the shop, the girl (Ruby) was apologetic, asked if I wanted a replacement order sent....I said 'no thanks ' as it was now 9pm and by time it arrived we would all be 'past it'.....at that point Ruby said the next time we ordered we would not be charged...huh! Well, tonight I called and asked for Ruby, reminded her of the issue and her suggested solution...only to be told she DID NOT say we wouldn't pay next time, but that she offered a 20% discount !!! No way....after a fraught call in which she refused to allow me to speak to manager, she eventually hung up on me!!! I repeatedly called back, she either didn't answer or hung up on me...... We paid £40+ for a cold takeaway.....and an extremely rude member of staff (Ruby), who was less than helpful!!! Customer service??? Don't think Azaad know the meaning of the words!! We DEFINITELY won't be back, and I would advise anyone to give it a wide berth ! I only gave 1 star because I had to....there was no ''0" option !

Food was fresh & delivery was spot on. They said 18.05 and it was delivered exactly on time !! As usual everything was so tasty & portions are a great size . So much so that it dies a second meal . Great value for money with the meal for two

Very poor experience. Food was delivered warm and missing my starters. Called to be told that they were to busy to re deliver. After a long discussion, staff said it would be over 1hour wait. 21/2 hours later I called to be told they would send it. Now after 11pm shop closed. £5 out of pocket and no refund or starters provided. The meal that did arrive was warm and the chicken was over cooked not tikka like asked for and was very poor . If I could have scored no stars I would have. Shocking service and will be persuing my refund tomorrow.

said the chips and cheese were £3 and apparently a CAN of fanta is £2.70?? so didn’t get the fanta because of the ridiculous price. leaves the place checks bank account been charged £5.42 for chips and cheese?? Called the place back got told chips were apparently £4 now despite the menu in the actull place daying £3 and apparently paying by card costs 50p but still got charged more than £4:50 anyway and the girl on the phone hung up on me after i made my points. wont be going back!

Phoned this shop for a pick-up asked them for a mixed khobedi kebab to be told we don't do that. So came off the phone to look at the menu for something else. Called them back and asked for just a donner kebab to say we don't have any so hung up. Called them back asked for nann and chip cheese and curry sauce to be told again don't have that so got someone else to call them as I was at braking point now and they asked for chips cheese and curry sauce and separate nann. No problem at last some food so left it 15 mins goes to the shop and seen what only is described as donner cooking away on the machine but didn't say anything as I just wanted my food and to go so gets the price, pays gets my change looks at it and thinks that's not right so adds it up of the menu in the shop says to the woman you have charged me to much to then be told the price has went up. That's fair enough but if it says a price that's the price to pay not some made up price. Then says about the no kebab situation to be told she never said that. Haha I know what I heard heard her say. So just tried to eat what what they gave it was basically lentils and chips so after all that it went in the bin never again.

awful experience will not be ordering again. Food took two hours to come. Pretty sure driver took it to the wrong house but when we phoned we just got told to phone back in 15 minutes. If eventually showed up roasting so was obvious that I was correct. Although they did remake the quality of food was poor. All the garlic came off the naan and instead of a ham and mushroom pizza i asked for, I got a ham and chicken. Woman on the phone was extremely rude and it would’ve been helpful if they had just explained that it got taken to the wrong house rather than just saying it’s around the corner.

Absolutely shocking, family over for tea ,kids love the munchie boxes so ordered at 5 pm to be delivered at 6pm I have type 1 diabetes so took my insulin in plenty of time, no sign of food at 6pm, so at 6:20 hubby phoned to be told it had just left ( lies, lies lies)) phoned again at 6:40 to be told that they hadn’t received our order though they had accepted our payment and they didn’t deliver to our area ( strange we’ve had a delivery from them before ) family had to leave to get food and by this time my sugars were getting really low so had to grab a sandwich and sweets to avoid hypo. Oooh just had a message that our food was delivered at 5: 55 pfft ( don’t even want to give them one star

Got magic munchie from this shop and by god it was disgusting the munchie box had a few bit of black dry chicken some soggie onion ring rest was basically chips no cheese naan in it the donner meat if that's what you can even call it was all wet and freezing cold and and the pizza was that wet the toppings slid Wright off the base and was look worm I really don't no why places like this get to trade if they think its acceptable to hand over food like that to customers long comes the day when places like this get shut down I'm not just saying this I would not even fed my dog what they gave

few issues with this place in the past, but decided to give it another go. More full me. Text saying order ready to collect, went to collect told it would be another 10min. Waited ten minutes when back in another 20min. 2 doner kebabs, one mixed kebab, but noticed all the same going in bag. Told them there should be a mixed in with itand she assured me it was in. So I unwrapped them in front of her, then to be told oh! Sorry run of lamb and chicken.given a small tray of Donald as replacement for a price difference of £4. Shocking service. Not be back. and chicken

Got kebab delivered one was cold and meat dried up the other was warm. Called said they would send another out but I had to go to shop as waited 40mins still no delivery got home only 2mins from shop kebab meat was mixed fresh and dried out meat and half was warm and cold..wouldn't get another kebab from here 🙃

Food tasted poor Arrived late and cold

Ordered last night , Meal for 2 , chips were so dry , had no life left in them , vegetable pakoras were still wet in middle and cold ,paratha not a paratha was like a naan. ..it should be made with wholemeal flour , chicken dry in pathia, my friend enjoyed her vegetable bhuna though... overall disappointing

Used to be a good place, but has gone down hill fast. Ordered over 2 hours ago, still not arrived. Called twice chasing, each time they claimed will be out door in 5 mins. Staff clearly can't be bothered.

Initially waited hours for our delivery. When my partner phoned to ask how long it would be the lady insisted she had phoned him numerous times which she hadn't to say they had no chicken tikka and so for some reason changed it anyway but didn't deliver it. It has just arrived without naan bread and on trying to phone them they are totally ignoring our calls. Very poor service. Will definitely be going back to our usual place which is amazing. Should know better than to try somewhere other than our trusted curry house. Highly recommend there instead.

Always delicious foods whether it's pizza or kebabs and even curry's this place is off the scale very regular customer and will keep coming back the delivery drivers are great always smiling and I always give a tip as these guys are classed as key workers and £1 tip from everyone would make their night be much better keep the good work up guys

Placed order to pick up at 7, Turned up at 7 to pick up to be told told it would be 10 mins, I said that's fine, Then told it would be another 20 mins, I couldn't wait but agreed for it to be delivered, what they tried ro charge me for, delivery would be 20 mins, again I agreed, waited near an hour for it to be delivered, during this time I called and asked for refunds but was given poor excuses and made out I was being unreasonable, when food arrived both pizze bases were burnt, chips were cold, was all binned, really really poor service and food, not even worth asking for a refund

Service was shocking waited over an hour and 45 minutes for our food, when phoned restaurant they told us 2 different thing on why our food was late, this is shocking Service and will not recommed to anyone!

Called in to place and pay for order. Not sure why the young female assistant told me to come back in 10-15 minutes which I did and she obviously forgot to put my chicken kebab on. I then had to wait for it to cook . I was not the only one another customer phoned their order in and when they called to collect having been told when to come experienced there same problem. Don’t take orders when you are too busy to fulfil them because you are doing just eat orders which is what happened I saw the cool bags getting filled when I got there. Either that or employ more staff in the carry out. Will I be back ……..sorry I think not.

Just passable sadly. Good prices and chicken was ok but a lot of the food was greasy. The naan was definitely not freshly made and the poppadoms were soggy. I mean that's basic stuff. Must do better really!

Do not waste your time with this place. The service is terrible. Ordered at pizza at 18:10 to be delivered for 21:00. At 21:10 the pizza had still not arrived. Called them up to find out what was going on and was told the delivery driver was out and that the pizza was sitting in the shop and would be delivered when the driver came back. Girl on the phone sounded like she couldn't care less. Told them to forget it and cancelled my order. If you can't fulfill a delivery with 2hours to prepare. You shouldn't be in business. Save yourself any hassle. Order someplace else.

Disgusting service from start to finish if I could give zero stars I would. Ordered food at 18:30 still hadn’t arrived by 9pm. The person answering the calls apologises and offers 20% off next order.....as if I’d be stupid enough to place another order! Taking orders you can’t fulfil is just greed!

Just ordered a meal for 2 via the app...says if ordering on line you get 20% off.....no disc code to apply so phoned shop & they said no bother just mention when u collect Food was delish & plenty off it...would defo order again...10/10

Absolutely abysmal service. Can’t leave a review on JustEat because my order got cancelled after waiting 2 hours and 45 minutes, only for my food not to arrive. Food was delayed by 35 minutes which then extended beyond 1 hour and didn’t get any response as they don’t answer the phone, it’s constantly “busy” and they don’t even respond to JustEat either. Stay well clear

Appalling delivery service!! Waited over 2 and a half hours after being told it would be an hour! Phoned after an hour and 50 mins and was told it was leaving in 20 minutes. Tried to phone again after a further 40 mins but received constant ‘busy’ tone. WENT TO STORE to be told it had left, then waited another 10 mins. Was a regular customer but am sick of this, it’s the third time this has happened. Will not be ordering from here anymore, plenty of other places to choose from.

Been a loyal customer for years...and have noticed the overall quality has gone way down. No way will I ever order from here again because of the really bad attitude of the woman taking my order. I understand you are 15 minutes from closing but that's no reason to be snappy ..curt and rude to me on the phone....I could get that free in my own house.

based on recommendation of my friends i had cheese burger & donner wrap for first time from the azaad dundee i had it from meny shops but it was the best burger i even tasted. one a little problem was the drink. it was a little warm.

Although the food from here is excellent, the same Cannot be said for their delivery service We ordered last night at quarter to 7 and it eventually arrived 2 AND A HALF HOURS LATER.......deplorable

Very disappointing delivery service, I’ve been waiting 2 hours and still not here! I phoned an hour ago and was told it was just leaving, then waited 25 mins and then again I was told it was just leaving as I was on the phone, another 35 mins had passed and phoned up against to be told the exact same thing.. hat it was just leaving!! Not even so much of a good will gesture was offered! Lucky the food is good

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Awful, awful food. Pizza had a ridiculous amount of cheese..... with little other toppings ordered. The donner wrap was just plain awful. Additionally... I thought I was ordering from Azzad invergowrie. It is the same website etc. The order took ridiculously long, phoned up & was informed it was a diff takeaway. It was the same owners until a Few months ago. This should really be made clear on website.

Not usually one to complain but food actually quite nice but make sure you check your order before the delivery guy leaves, just had my third order in a row with items missing and by the time it's rectified food is freezing. That includes collection from the shop constantly wrong, staff need to pay attention to the customer more.

food was good but portions size was terrible, for a regular kebab it’s was like and extra small felt like I could have ate another one

My first experience of Azaad was really good, food was nice and fresh. Every other time the food has been ether cold, stale or order has been wrong and I’ve had to wait until it’s been redelived. The prices are slightly higher that other takeaways which don’t represent the quality.

Really enjoyed this meal. Good portion size, food was still hot on delivery, quality of chicken was excellent and overall a great flavour. Nicely cooked rice and loved the naan bread. Will order again.

Very average food, forgot my sons pakora and by the time they brought it back he was sleeping. We had to phone twice and was promised free cake for the troubles but didn't receive any extra.

Order at 10 past 6 to collect at half past 6 went in. Waiting u til 10 to 7 before I was giving my order. Got home. No man bread. Called up as we were disappointed that we didn't get a nan. Advised driver would be 15 mins with it. 40 mins later turns up with nan.

Best food in Dundee but what a let down on Saturday evening, over an hour and a half late, no one answering phone. Ordered from somewhere else and had to refuse order when it finally arrived, cost best part of £22 not amused.

Over 3 hour wait for a kebab and a bhuna. Took phone off the hook, ended up having to drive up there to see what was going on. Not so much as an apology. Unacceptable, you've lost a regular. Won't be back.
