Tarleton village chippy in West Lancashire

Shocking. Normally go to Mr Chips, but decided to try Tarleton Takeaway on a reccomendation. Chips, tasteless and undercooked - portions, tiny. Curry sauce, bland and watered down. 1/4 burger like cardboard and so small. I understand that times are tough for small businesses, but that's more reason to ensure you're providing value for money. Safe to say that Mr Chips will keep our business, going forward.

I've just been for sausage, chips and curry. The curry is luke warm and that thick it is just a blob of curry on top of the sausage and chips. What a waste of money.

The friendliest staff and nothing is ever too much trouble ! Food is delicious and never takes very long. Always hot and tasty.

Stood queuing for 20 minutes. Nobody took my order and ended up giving up and walking out. Used to be a really good chippy but service seems to have gone downhill and none of the girls seemed to have a plan - were too worried about cooking burgers and pizzas than dealing with the queue. Shame but wont be back

Yummy food, good price, nice staff the only problem I would have is keeping the door open and it blows a gale and is cod whilst waiting but u understood it would he hot for workers.

Always good food, everything from fish n chips to pizzas and donner kebabs. They also have a few GF options

Great food every time 😁👍 We usually eat from here once a week, Friday treat 👍 We phone our order through, Staff know who we are from our order! We get given a time to collect, and there you are, it's either just being put together or is ready for you as you walk through the door - can't get better than that 👍 the only thing you need to remember is that payment is cash only.

Chips were the worst chips I've ever had. Totally undercooked no golden colour they were pure white and tasted awful. Will not be going again. There's lunch ruined

This chippy outstrips any chippy both in Southport and Tarleton. Why it has not won award, I just don't know, Maybe they have but don't like showing off. Nearly every Friday at 1130, we are outside waiting for them to open. Small chips and gravy, fantastic, Potato Scollops, outstanding, and their fish is out of this world. 👌 Have not tried anything else yet, but they are always busy. Would definitely recommend them. Ps staff are super friendly too. Thank you.
