Been here twice now as a table of 15 both times have been amazing. Food, service and atmosphere have been exceptional. Mixed grill starters and chilli paneer were cooked to perfection.

Tried Tapri last night. Food was exquisite and a great selection of beers. The service and atmosphere were excellent. A real gem of a find and will definitely visit again.

Excellent food served here, every time, never a bad meal. The curries, all food actually, are so full of flavours. Lovely warm welcome every time too. We travel from Stourbridge, passing many other Indian restaurants on the way, by choice, obviously.

Great meal tonight.Ordered the Spicy Tapri Lamb Curry for two.Great choice,was expecting a bit of a wait because Lamb takes a bit of cooking.It was served in a large pot with a naan bread covering the two Lamb shanks and a thick spicy sauce.Cooked to perfection so a big thank you to the chef and the lovely staff.

Myself and my husband visited Tapri for the first time on Saturday. We went early, around 2pm as we had plans later that day. The place was empty at this time which I loved! We had a lovely man serving us fantastic cocktails at the bar and the food we had was so tasty and filling. We had a mixed grill & onion baji to share as a starter, then a chicken tikka masala each with rice and nann to share. We also had poppadoms to start and was no less than stuffed when we left. I deducted a star for atmosphere as there were no other guests and the surroundings outside looked a little sad. We 100% recommend and will return again soon.

Came for our daughters 30th birthday there was around 36 of us food was delicious no 1 could fault it staff were lovely defo come again

We ordered the saag paneer which was fantastic! Curries are delicious here. We also ordered the boneless mixed grill, lamb seekh kebabs were delicious and really tasty. Fish pakoras were a little oily for our liking. Chicken tikka was pretty good. We’ll be back!

If you’re a foodie like me, you’ll love this place! The menu has a fantastic selection of dishes, and we loved everything we tried. Hands down, some of the best food I’ve had recently! They use the freshest ingredients and make sure each dish is done the right way. The lamb shank was especially delicious, meat so tender it just fell off the bone - a must try! The service at TApri is top-notch! The staff are friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. Kudos to the entire team!

Great food and service from all staff especially the manager Laxsman. Had the lamb shank definitely the best lamb dish I’ve eaten in a while. Awesome chilli cheese naan. Kids loved all the food Will definitely return. Great atmosphere Football on and great drinks prices.

Went here for the first time after reading reviews on google, can say I wasn't disappointed the food was very nice atmosphere is good its clean and smart. The food was very nice had a mixed grill butter chicken chilli chicken and few sides all food was very flavourful and portion are good. The pricing is on the higher end but competitive to other similar mixed grill spot. Lots of parking. Will definitely recommend.

We booked a table for after the football because heard good things. We got there we were welcomed and shown to our table. Then we ordered our food and drinks. They brought our poppadums out for starter (which was a bit soggy).We were only given three plates when we asked for fourth was accused of miscounting. Whilst trying to eat them they brought out plates for our main and started squeezing them on to an already packed table. Then 2 minutes later started bringing out our mains while we were still eating our starter. I'll add, still no room on the table. Wish I'd have told her to go away and wait now but I didn't wanna ruin the night. The only thing that saved the night is that we all enjoyed our mains, the lamb in the madras was amazing. Missus and kids really enjoyed theirs too. Don't think we'll go there again because being rushed just ruins the night. Especially when no one was waiting for our table as we stayed there another 2 hours. Probably order takeaway or delivery one day tho as food was great.

Visited Tapri on a Thursday evening, really good to see the venue busy with lots of food being ordered. The venue was really modern, nice decor with lots of TV’s for the sport. We were sat in the conservatory area on the side, great space with a TV and plenty of room for the 6 of us. Drinks - usual top tier mixy lagers. Staropramen and cobra the staples on tap. We ordered the poppadoms to start us off, unusually the poppadoms are cooked in peanut oil so with an allergy sufferer in the party they had to skip these - good job we checked with the member of staff before ordering. For the mains, 2 large mixys, 2 garlic chilli prawn, 2 lollipop, 2 chilli chips and 2 naan. The mixy - missing the battered prawns but came with 3 lamb chops on each. Tikka really good, Lots of fish pakora. Only downside there was malai tikka which was slightly dry. Seekh and wings all very tasty. Lollipops - the best. Loads of meat on the bone dripping in thick nuclear red chilli sauce. Bit of a kick too which was great. Defo recommend. Garlic prawns - well worth the addition, lots of taste and loads on the plate. Fish pakora, nice crispy batter and lots of them as you can see on the pic. Chilli chips - really good. Getting difficult to separate some of these chilli chips now as most venues have them on lock. Dripping in sauce, crispy and Chunky - top notch. Naan breads keema and chilli cheese - on the smaller side but tasty not too thick not too thin, just right! Service - top notch, we were asked how the food was, ensured no peanuts would be cooked with etc. really attentive and friendly. Would recommend Tapri. There’s so many mixy places now standing out is getting more difficult. For the the venue service and the food I recommend Tapri gornalwood for a visit. 7.5/10

I’ve ordered on deliveroo from here twice now and I’m very impressed with the food and packaging. As an Indian I can say the food is more like home food with quality ingredients and no rubbish put in like most other places in the area. To my delight they don’t put green chilli in the dishes I like and on the phone they catered for my taste and get the heat right for me bothe times. My new regular on deliveroo and I’m sure I will go there to eat aswell sometimes. Finally found the right authentic Punjabi restaurant.

Second time coming, first time was good this time was a joke. Took 90 minutes to get the food and the food wasnt good at all. Ordered the regular mixed grill and 75% of the plate was chicken wings. The seekh kebab was soft like mince when you put your fork to it and it broke apart. Apparently the service was bad because you were holding a function upstairs and left paying customers waiting for a rubbish plate of food because the function was more important to you. Wont be coming again and this is a party of 5 with the same complaints.

Went with family for a 65th birthday and had a fantastic experience! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating and there was a lovely atmosphere. Visiting from Leicester, I can hands down say it was the best food I’ve ever had at an Indian restaurant in England. I could not fault any of the many dishes we ordered, as they were all perfectly made. Will absolutely be going back!

Had a 2 starters and 2 great lamb dishes 😋 both tender lamb always a good sign. Staff friendly and pleasant. Food was piping hot. Will visit again soon.( I am the Ganesh pendant man)
