Great for hot drinks and a sit down with colleagues or friends. Friendly service. I’m not a fan of the pastries there but the location, seating, and quality of the drinks makes up for that.

This small, but eclectic cafe serves great coffee. They are all double-shots, but a single shot is ok to order. I didn't eat, but the pastries looked very tempting. Perfect for my morning brew!

The service in this small café is swift and friendly. The coffee is flavoursome, as are the cakes and sandwiches on offer.

Before its change to Department For Coffee And Social Affairs, this was a great coffee spot. Now it is not worth the premium. The stamp card system has changed - with no notice for those using the old stamp card - and all loyalty points are now void. The surly staff who serve Blue Steel better than most seen to think it's an inconvenience for you to receive the stamp you have earned. Their breakfast sandwich - a previous highlight - is akin to a slather of egg paste on two crispbreads The only saving grace here is the coffee - it is consistently excellent. If only they could revise their service levels and food quality.

It's an alright place for coffee but it seems more of a place to been seen in rather then for the quality of the coffee in all honesty. On the other hand the hipsters with laptops are fun to watch.. Price is a little on the steep side.

This is a great little coffee shop with a. Warm atmosphere. Great selection of drinks and cakes and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Really reasonably priced and much better quality than the chain cafés that are around. I can’t recommend this place enough!

When I visit a place the first thing I see is the way the stuff talks to me. If they are smiley if they are friendly. Second thing is the quality of the product. Third thing is the place. Tap coffee is good on everything but not perfect! I will give 5 stars but they have to try more and be perfect!! :) cheers

I've started going to the Rathbone Place shop when I'm in the area. Without doubt, this is the best cup of coffee to be had in London and you can order the beans and ground coffee online too.

You can't fault the coffee here. Be aware that in spite of the buzz about TAP, its relatively few tables can mean a wait to be seated and there are no toilet facilities. Great cakes and friendly staff though.
