Food was amazing ,fast friendly service

Called in on a wim, was warmly greeted. My friend and I just picked a selection of starters. They were served quickly and were delicious. 😋 We will be back, great price too. Recommended to all.

Great food and service on our trip to Hull.

The delivery was exactly on time. The food was hot and good quality - my only issue was that I paid extra for egg fried rice but only got plain rice.

The food was great, but the kitchen staff were talking very loudly and rudely about customers in Thai. This wasn't acceptable, and they should be more careful!

Food is always great, prices are reasonable and service is quick. If you like Thai food, this is a great spot. Especially the Pork Belly!

Me and my partner went for tea this evening! We’ve ordered Mixed Starter, Som Tam Thai, King prawn Pad Thai, Sea bass fillet with herbs and two Thai milk tea. Good Portions. Most of the dishes were authentic it taste the same as it in Thailand! We really enjoyed it. Will definitely coming back again sooner!

Penang curry was decent, a bit spicier than expected. I usually love Tom Kha but it wasn't great from here, heavy on the coconut milk and no chilli oil or zesty flavour, it had big bits of lemongrass that were unpleasant to chew. I also got Yum vegetables and I thought the portion was pretty small for the price. Over all it wasn't bad but I think the balance of flavours was a bit off, not as good as my usual Thai place.

Definitely my new favourite thai place to come, the food was so good with very rich flavours, the massaman curry is 10/10 with be visiting again very soon!

Visited Tanyalak with friends in February. What a great little restaurant. Food was amazing, reasonably priced and great service. Would definitely return. Would advise to book a table as it’s only small but gets quite busy!

Food is expensive and ingredients are less. I ordered chicken fried rice it was salty and taste bad. Tomyam soup large is waste of money less prawn. Tomyam taste good. Pork skewers is all fats in it. If your price is expensive make sure your ingredients are good. People are willing to pay but not for bad quality. Will not go again. Staff was shouting at a customer for not knowing his/her order. Be nice.

Tasty food but not much meat so overpriced for me. Sorry but really tasty beef Thai but let down so wouldn’t order again. Plenty of beef in my partners dish but sadly only 4 pieces of beef in mine. Chicken satay starter was yummy

What a little gem! It's a small restaurant with only a few staff, but that does not matter. The food was excellent, especially the Chicken Massamn Curry. We had the set menu for 2. It was only £45 (including a soft drink each), absolutely fantastic value for money, we left stuffed! It's a 0.5miles walk from St Stephens shopping centre & so worth it. Much better than the high street brands! Highly recommend.

Always order from here, usually really nice and always crave more after the last. But this time it wasn’t that great at all, if I’m honest. Part of the order was wrong and wasn’t even nice and the chips were also a disappointment compared to usual. Hoping it’s just a one off.

We had lunch today. Starting with king prawn from the grill. Yummie! 2 bowls with some lime to wash our fingers. Then my husband had pad thai chicken, one of our favorite dishes. I got massa man, curry, sweet and creamy, with veggies in it. I chose beef. To complete it we had a drink, juice but there are much more drinks to choose from incl. Cocktails, which reminded me of the beautiful country, Thailand. Highly recomended!

we ordered Pad Thai noodles which were ok. The green curry was so hot, we could barely eat it and had to leave most of it. The deep fried tofu was ok..but not crispy and for 4 small pieces at a whopping £5.50, far too expensive

If I could give this place more stars I would do. The food was amazing, it was fresh, tasty and full of flavour. The staff are all friendly in their own way, some not ao chatty, but very pleasant. The place is relaxed with a very laid back feel and this is definitely good value for money. It's been a while since I've been to a restaurant in Hull and wanted to go back so quick.

so I ordered a curry wich came with rice. also a side order of chips. something asking the way went wrong and no rice was delivered. they brought out the rice. Great food great delivery 5 star

Can not rate this place enough ~ it was extremely busy. Luckily for me and my partner a member of staff manage to squeeze us in. We was so chuffed the food is amazing, open kitchen so you can see everything. All the staff are really nice and polite especially a male guy server. Excellent value for money, lovely place with a good bar. We will most certainly be back, the food is so fresh and how it should be. Thank you. 8/12/23

If I could give more stars I would. I accidentally ordered for collection instead of pickup. I didn’t realise until they phoned me and said I had food waiting. For a small fee they delivered after they shut up shop. Food delicious as always. Thank you

Had dinner here , and was lovely. Food was delicious and good value, a variation of drinks too on offer. Staff were friendly and good service. The restaurant is quite small and authentic which we really liked. Recommend !

Overlooked this place as Asian food is not my favourite. Reluctantly agreed to try as I was outvoted by friends. Wow!! I'm converted. The best food I have had for a long while. Dishes bursting with fresh natural flavours and while plentiful I was left wanting more. Deliver was quicker than stated time. My new favourite takeaway. Who'd have thunk it?

£5 for 4 tiny, cold, tasteless spring rolls!! Duck curry tasted unpleasantly metallic and both curries were over 80% sauce. And on top of everything a £2 sneaky service charge. Don't bother.

Please change the delivery person because the order was traveling on my street for too long looking for the address with the house number and the order went to the neighbor before the neighbor realized that it was not his but mine and the neighbor delivered it because you have such stupid drivers, it's a tragedy, the food was cold, I don't recommend it to anyone such experience and adventure

Absolutely lovely. All freshly cooked, taste was perfect, very flavourful. Service fantastic, will definitely be returning. We got the tofu Thai green curry with a side of veg and a chicken Thai red curry with a side of salt and pepper fries. All of it was spot on.

It's not the best Thai food in Hull but it's far from the worst. The satay chicken skewers were dry. The curry was nice.

Very authentic Thai, nice and spicy som tam!

Very quick delivery. Food was hot and very tasty. The green curry was a bit thinner than I've had before, and the noodles in the Phad kee mao were over-cooked, but the dishes were still very tasty, with a medium spice/heat level.

One of the best Thai restaurants I know of. Consistently great food either as a take away or in the restaurant.

Not for the first time has the rice been under cooked and dry.. this was no exception. The food was tasty enough, but lacking the quality ingredients they used to use. Some chicken, enough but not a lot. Some veg, as previous. Bland sauce with zero spice considering it's listed as a spicy dish.. just a 'meh' rating.. and not cheap enough for that kind of review. We supported you from opening, and all through COVID, but sadly have watched the quality slowly decline. Time to undo the cost cutting and get back up to where you should be.

Been ordering from Tanyalak for some time now and if they continue to make the curry the way they do now il be ordering for some time to come!! Red Thai or green Thai that curry is absolutely banging. Highly recommend. Top stuff Tanyalak. 👏

1st time here came with a friend. Had the meal for 2 as it had variety and I didn't know what to have priced @ £45 bargain. Starters spring rolls, sesame toast, Thai fish cakes, chicken skewers and dips. Main was chicken curry, battered chicken /veg in oyster sauce and beef noodles with rice too. Couldn't manage it all but would go again. Gets busy too as its a small popular place.

Very tasty, reasonably priced Thai food. We paid roughly £25 per person with starters to share and some alcoholic drinks. Good selection of veggie options though they could use marking on the menu. Would visit again.

Superb food! Had a Thai green papaya salad, asked for it to be spicy and wow, it certainly was! It was delicious, zingy, totally fresh and I suspect very authentic. Understated little place but a real gem! Will defo return if we are back in Hull again!
