Tans Garden Grill in Torbay

Just come back from spending Twixmas here. Yes a little dated, but for the price we pay we expected that. The staff are really friendly and made us welcome, even our teenager. He has asked to go back for Twixmas next year. Food we had was nice. Can't fault the staff who cook or served us. We thought the staff and management who put the kid's golden ticket presents put thought into what age group they were for. Enjoyed our stay and we got our steps in, due to the lift breaking down. No fault to the management.

We visited here for breakfast when staying with family. The selection was just perfect and good quality. Lovely selection of Tea's and nice Coffee. A bonus is a commercial toaster that works for once without having to put the bread through twice. There was one lady member of staff when we visited and she was extremely efficient and well organised. Very pleasant, will return.

Great hotel, good customer service but I feel sometimes lack of communication

We recently celebrated our friend’s 30th at Parklane, and it was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredible – so attentive and always making sure our drinks were topped up without us even having to ask. They truly went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The atmosphere was amazing – lively yet relaxed – making it the perfect spot for a celebration. Hands down, the best bottomless brunch I’ve been to in ages! We’ll definitely be back again soon. Highly recommend!

Was nice, hard to finds a member of staff to get a drink though. Oh and the door to the pool kept closing and locking which didn't feel safe with children in the pool. Tried to contact them a few months later to book the pool and couldn't get hold of anyone. Booked elsewhere.
