Such friendly staff, the food is absolutely delicious best Chinese I’ve had from any where around here

The driver called me he was lost, they gave him the wrong postcode 40 minutes later arrived. Cold food all the ingredients of meat etc have shrunk dramatically you only get now farty bits of dry stuff like dog chews. Im really shocked as ive ordered from these for years. Dont know if new chef or what but its really bad i wont ever order from there again. Top tip if you want proper food and enjoy the quantities you pay for order elsewhere. I feel ive been totally ripped off big time shame as its my local gutted.

We ordered chicken curry chicken fried rice and two large spring rolls, prices were brilliant but not the food, never been before but was recommended, chicken curry didn’t taste like chicken in fact the chicken was like string chicken and not white, my spring roll was burnt inside and sloppy on the outside , would I return definitely not soooo disappointed

Tonight we ordered from Tangs, we are regular customers and usually enjoy the food. They said our meal would be 40 minutes to an hour for delivery, this was at 18.20 we said OK, we had our 5year old grandchild staying over, usually they arrive a lot earlier than they say, but after 1 hour and 30 minutes and my granddaughter complaining she was hungry we rang them back, they had forgotten our order, this is not the first time this has happened. We received our order 2 hours after the initial phone call. We have now told them we will not be ordering from them again, menu has gone in the bin. We understand it's Saturday and their busy but if they can't cope don't take the orders.

Staff are very friendly and nice and food very good. the staff work very hard every day so you should support them more

The food is decently price, especially the salt and pepper special box which was a good dinner to have with the family.

Very good with the spring rolls and fried rice with the curry sauce and the spare ribs and the crispy duck which pancake and they have very good customer service EAT THERE NOW!!!!!!!!!!

every week we are always delighted to order at tangs. we always get good food at a reasonable price would definitely recommend.

Wednesday 08/09/21 Ordered chicken curry, boiled rice, spare ribs, crackers and a king prawn dish. Opened the spare ribs, they were unidentifyable, soggy, inedible mess. Kind of puts you off the rest dosent it? Missed lunch due to traffic so really looking forward to a 2 course meal. Never touched the curry or rice just didnt want it then, ribs put back in foil, rang Tangs to complain. Wife ate hers so no comment there. I shall be returning the meal today, no refund required I shall just not go there again.

Tangs use to be great but 3 times it's made my family I'll. Last was last night, it had my pregnant daughter vomiting all nightWe won't be going back

After finishing work late I decided to have a Chinese takeaway. My usual takeaway was closed, so decided to try Tangs. I had sweet and sour vegetables, fried rice and chips. I was going to have half tonight and the other half tomorrow. The sweet and sour didn't look right so I rang them back and said I think you have sent me the wrong meal. He then told me my sauce wasn't thick and red like a normal sweet and sour sauce because the water from the vegetables had made it runny. I told him no other Chinese had ever made me a sauce like this. On top of this the chips were hard and dry and the rice stoggy. I asked him for a refund as I wasn't happy. He said he could not give me a refund as he had costs, I said I also have costs and I've just wasted £8 on food that will go in the bin. After a more heated discussion he said if I order food from another Chinese he will pay it. I said how can you pay another Chinese, but you can't pay me. He then couldn't answer my question. He offered to give me another meal, but by now I obviously wasn't going to accept it. Terrible customer service. I'll be sticking with my normal Chinese from now on and definitely won't be recommending Tangs

Food is always hot, tasty, freshly prepared and ready on time. It's now my local go to Chinese takeaway.

Thought would try somewhere new never again we had the chicken balls when came they were really big compared to anywhere else but when my partner bit onto them it was just loads of batter and a bit of chicken also the chicken was pink clearly they hadn't been cooked properly the the curry had no taste to it either and the onions in it where raw big disappointment

My wife and I have been using Tangs for ages now and we don’t even have to give them our address. The food is spot on and gets delivered relatively quickly.

This Chinese is the only one I'll use in Newcastle. He caters for wife's picky nature everytime we order. Food is always delivered within 25 mins and red hot! Can't beat the Cantonese spare ribs and kung pow. Only place I can find it as tasty is Manchester Piccadilly centre. Oh an 5 star hygiene rating. So god knows what that other guys talking about. Check the other ratings in the area and in Silverdale for yourself. Lovely Chinese and staff. My only gripe is there closed Mondays. Like where do I go then ! ;)

Tangs used to be one of the best Chinese takeaways in the area. The kitchen was spotless and the food great. Recently their standards have dropped, the kitchen is unclean and covered in grease, there are flies flying round and no fly trap visible! Yes it has a 5 star food hygiene rating, but when was this last inspected? The place is in need of a deep clean, paint and concentration on the food rather than trying to sell Chinese ornaments etc....

I have tried many Chinese takeaways in Newcastle Under Lyme over the years, but none have been as good as Tangs. The food is always delicious, the meat portions generous, the vegetables and noodles moist and fresh.I have never had to wait longer than 30 mins for my order, even during early evenings at the weekend when it is frantically busy - usually it is ready within 10 minutes. The staff are always very welcoming and polite and as I mentioned in the title, the top notch 5 hygiene rating is proudly displayed on the front door. Personally I won't use any other Chinese takeaway any more, because my experience here has always been flawless.

Compaired to other chinese takeaways you dont get much meat in the dishes you order. The rice is nice and tasty but i like to stick to basics at this takeaway as you can get better for your money elsewhere.

Estuve en la zona por una noche recientemente y decidimos probar los rebajos. La comida que tenía era muy bonita y estaba preparado muy rápido. La comida para dos era de buena calidad y que era más que mi compañero y yo podía comer por 9 libras cada uno. Sin duda comida para llevar Rebajos más a menudo si viviera en la zona.

Have ordered from here a few times. It's always delivered really quickly and the food is always warm. Not too expensive and really friendly staff! Always re-visit this place.

No era nada como buenos si tenía desde el arco, Lims (volver en el día) y Bing Xian Hartshill. Fue horrible. Utilizaron carne pero estaba viscosa trozos grandes duro. Oh mi Dios. Y acababan de picadas una lechuga en medio y no haber molestado para separar en dos mitades. El crujiente de algas era horrible. Era pasada y tan grasienta, solo sabía de petróleo. Las patatas fritas eran quemados y de rock duro. Absolutamente repugnante. La única cosa que estaba bien era la sal y los langostinos chili king pero nada tan bueno como en cualquier otro lugar. Detesto ser estafados. Quien estaba cocinando en el 29 de abril de 2017 a las 8:00 pm necesita ser despedido inmediatamente. Me indigno. Simplemente, no tengo ni idea de cómo la gente puede decir que este es el mejor de la zona. Es el peor que he probado. Por favor, no vayas aquí. Estoy tan harto. Eso me. Cocinar mi propia comida fresca en el futuro.

Very fast delivery, friendly staffs and professional chefs... This was the best ever I got quality food and the service... I definitely recommend that takeaway if you are looking for a good one...

Grasos. Duro. Basura. Una porquería. Purga de pollo y un montón de piel. Parecía que estaba sobras rectificada. Pato estaba cruda y era el 80% de grasas. Una porquería. Carne fue como un punteras huecas. Una porquería. Langostinos eran como comida broma de goma. Una porquería. Incluso las verduras y castañas de agua probado dinámicos. Una porquería. Salsas gruesas y pegajosas y "fabricado". Nada parecía, fieltro o probado fresco. La mayoría de lo tiró. Una porquería. Anuncian comida cantonesa, pero no pato cantonés. Probablemente porque debería ser crujientes no pasada de grasa. Una porquería. Sólo queríamos decir poco tenía que pad es una porquería a llenar requisito mínimo Word. Una porquería.

The food is always well cooked and hot when ever we have either a take out or a delivery, they always over estimate the delivery time eg 45 mins, and you can guarantee you will get a knock on the door within half hr. Will be back again in a month or so

Hot and Sour Soup - far to sweet and too thick.

Three takeaways to date from Tangs, and first-class food and service received on each occasion. Having been spoilt rotten in the past by having excellent Chinese takeaway food shops local to where I have lived, I have been heavy-hearted to say the least at the prospect of switching to a new, untested one. However, I needn't have feared: Tangs is up there with the best. Particularly scrumptious are the Crispy Aromatic Duck, Satay Beef on Skewers, Singapore Noodles, House Special Chow Mein and Chef's Special Four Season. All takeaways over £10 also include a very generous complementary bag of crunchy prawn crackers. No surprises then that there is always a long disorderly line of traffic parked outside on the road every Friday night....

Excellent takeaway, they are very quick with the orders, the food is of a good quality, whenever I order a meal I always have enough to make a second meal.

Brilliant, really good meal today, could do with smaller portions as we can never finish it all!Tasty,spicy and hot. Singapore vermicelli, dry fried crispy beef with chilli and chicken sweet and sour.

Am very fussy when it comes to food and will only order Chinese from here it's the best around staff always helpful and always arrives on time we always order chicken in black bean sauce it's amazing

We are never disappointed when ordering a take away. OK we are a bit boring and usually have the same thing, but after ordering something which wasn't on the menu for a few weeks they have put it on the menu for me. The starters are great as are the "Chinese" curry's as well as the green tai. There are always a few extras, prawn crackers, fortune cookies which are a bonus not something to be expected. We always have our food delivered and it has never arrived after the estimated time. Can't recommend Tangs highly enough. Enjoy.

Fabulous food never disappoints and delivered very quickly. Always arrives inside the time they say. I can't remember the last time we used any other chinese it is so good. Well worth a try. Highly recommended.

Tried Tang's for the first time as the chinese in Maybank had been closed for a few weeks. Glad we did as it was a real surprise. Quick and clean in there. Food fabulous. Use it all the time now.
