Tamu Cafe in Sandwell

Have been here a couple of times and I have to say it’s a lovely place. Good menu with lots of options to suit most dietary requirements. I had the salmon and scrambled eggs which was delicious and beautifully presented. A generous portion too! Service is also great with friendly helpful staff. Tamu is a wonderful addition to the high street in Bearwood.

Wow. We have just had lunch at Tamu after a recommendation from a friend. I had the halloumi/avocado stack with spicy beans and my other half had a potato dish with salmon. Presentation was excellent. Food came quick and service was friendly. Great vibe in there. We also had some home made cake, coffee and smoothies which were just as good. We were blown away by the quality and flavours. Such a treat! This is leaps better than BTP and definitely on a par with Perch although the variety is much greater at Tamu. Coming back to try more items. Love, love, love this little cafe. Can’t believe this little gem has escaped us for 5 years!

We love tamu. Go here quite regularly for breakfast. Staff are lovely, food is amazing and the vibe within the cafe is really relaxing. Maybe a bit more £ than your greasy spoon cafe, but you get what you pay for and this is 10/10.

The portions were quite generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. However, I do have to mention that the prices were a bit on the higher side. But considering the quality and taste of the food, it's worth the occasional splurge. The only downside is that parking can be a bit of an issue. But don't let that stop you from enjoying a tasty meal at this fantastic cafe! 🍽️😄🌸

I've been coming here for years. Usually it is with a friend for breakfast but I've started bring the family now the children are old enough to appreciate the food. It's always wonderful. The staff are welcoming, the drinks are superb (best chai latte I've ever had), and the food is the best I've ever tasted. I usually opt for the sweetcorn fritters and am never disappointed. It caters to vegetarians really well and offers some great children's options such as pancakes and French toast.

A hidden gem! I've had the pancakes and French toast on two separate occasions and they've both been top tier. One passer-by even stopped in the street to admire out pancakes when they came out. Bearwood needs more little spots like this one. Make a point to visit if you're in the area!

We stopped for a quick lunch as we were in the area from out of town, and thought it looked nice. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, particularly to our baby which is always nice. Our drinks and food were served promptly, and our babies food came out even faster which was very much appreciated. Food was absolutely delicious, and was beautifully presented. Really highly recommend.

Wow! The best brunch bar in town. Fabulous choices and fresh and delish food . Zee and Aaron are fabulous. Get yourself there for their Avo stack, sweetcorn fritters and Tamu beans.

Fabulous independent cafe. Busy little place but certainly worth the wait, we didn’t mind sitting outside waiting for about 10 mins and watch the world go by. Efficient staff and excellent food and drinks. Quirky healthy menu which we liked and would recommend and return.

The food in Tamu Cafe is to die for. We had French Toast, Salmon Avocado, Sweetcorn Fritters and Spicy Beans. We revisited recently however it was closed so always check their opening and closing hours. The staff were amazing

Absolutely stunning service. Nice small cafe with a chilled vibe, great food and incredible staff. There is no long waits for the food and the food is perfect.i have to have to give compliments to the chef as well as the friendly staff. Can't recommend this place enough. Thanks Tamu

I have frequented here for a coffee/ chai latte and have some of the top tier Brunch menu on a Saturday but we chose to come on the tapas night they do occasionally on a Friday. The food was top tier. We opted for; Padron peppers, Cheesey Croquettes, Garlic Prawns, Tatas Bravas and some olives was absolutely delicious and wish I'd ordered the sea bass as well. Will definitely attend the next monthly Tapas eve. Another great thing about this place is they work with the Craft Inn next door which is a craft beer bar that has a great spirit selection so I could enjoy a lovely ale whilst eating my food.

Absolutely delicious breakfast, plenty of choice- ingredients were fresh and full of flavour. Friendly service and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

Amazing, amazing, amazing!!! So tasty, full of flavour and tastes as good as it looks. I first saw pictures of food from Tamu Cafe and it was on the top of my list for try and finally what a great start of 2022 - good wholesome food - if your a foodie, you've got to try!
