From the moment you step inside Bobbo’s Fish Restaurant you are met with nothing but a smile and a warm welcome. The owner himself is very bubbly which my husband and family found out from the moment we saw him. He has a great variety of dishes to choose from and I think it is only fair to say you are spoilt for choice, which works great not just for the adults but for the kids too. You don’t feel rushed, just well cared for and if you are stuck with what to choose, then Bobbo is only too happy to assist, to make life that little bit easier. Once we made our selection it was freshly cooked be it chips, fish or onion rings to accompany. The food is definitely worth the wait. Every bite was heaven scent, not only was it infused with high quality but tasted delicious too. A real diamond in the heart of the Black Country!. The restaurant itself is beautifully laid out, with nautical decors of fantastic paintings, boats and seagulls which adds a vibrant nautical atmosphere to it. A definite plus side is that it is airy, extremely clean and very spacious to sit in while having something to eat. That alone is a rarity for any fish and chips restaurant in most areas. If your looking for a quality fish and chip restaurant; where you feel welcome and nothing is too much and you want a tasty meal and to sit and watch the world go by, then Bobbo’s is the place to be!.

Great food and great customer service! Big portions for great prices. Fully recommend. You can take out and dine in which is great. Large menu to choose from also!

This is the only chip shop I will use, Perfection every time. Foods always fresh fish is so fluffy with loverly batter & great chips.

I am not normally one to write a review but felt obliged to write one after my first and definitely not last visit to Bobbo's yesterday evening. I had a awesome Fish and Chips. The fish was awesome, large in size and tasted really fresh with the batter being nice and crispy. The chips were equally great nice chunky chips. I also had a pot of curry sauce which was was a generous size. Bobbo himself was very friendly and you could clearly tell he has a passion for what he does. I would strongly recommend Bobbos if you haven't tried it already.

10/10 cooked fresh and to perfection would recommend cheap and delightful would 100% go again great to go with family and friends plenty of seating area

Bobbo is friendly, and the foods are fresh and traditionally tasty and serving in perfect. Shop facilities are clean and shiny. Fish and chips are crunchy. It's one of the best restaurants in the UK with a professional chef-staff and fair price. Strongley recommended. YUMMY!

Absolutely amazing place to eat , staff went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. First time at trying battered chips, and quarter pounder was just as good as the chips. Matt even got his fresh cod roe. Everything was clean, even the toilets were spotless. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a very friendly chippy. Bobbo fish bar. Matt & Mel 👍

We had a mixed kebab, small haddock, battered sausage, scampi and chips. All were absolutely fantastic. Plenty in the portions and all tasted superb. Would highly recommend!!

Would recommend Bobbos 100% I’ve tried every chip shop in the vicinity and this place by far is the best. Lovely battered chips and the fish was perfect with crispy batter. Nice one my lovely keep up the black country tradition 👍👍

After having continuous bad meals from my previous chip shop, I decided to try Bobbo’s and my god I wish I tried it sooner. The staff are really friendly, the food tastes amazing and fresh each time and you can’t complain about the price. The kebab is always soft and not burnt unlike your other chip shops. 100% recommend

We had three of the meal deals tonight. The food was fresh, piping hot & delicious. The owner was super attentive and eager to satisfy. Love the seating area - it’s great to eat the food fresh from the fryer.

Went to bobbys today for 2 plates of chips and 2 drinks. Cost best part of £10. The chips were not to good loads of hard bits and black bits. But as for the vinegar disgraceful. Waterd down to the point it was just brown water. No smell or taste of vinegar what so ever. Very disappointed

Absolutely the BEST Fish and Chips! Great, friendly service. I am not usually fond of chips but I love the chips from Bobbo's and the fish is so tasty and fresh, beautiful batter! The menu is varied, lots of alternatives to fish and chips, I might try something different one day, if I ever get tired of the fish and chips 🤣

First time eating here. My partner had fish chips mushy peas. I had jacket potato with cheese beans and salad. Couldn't fault anything. Really tasty and prices reasonable. Will pop in again when we r next in blackheath. Keep up the good work.

Had Bobbos for the first time this evening. Food absolutely delicious and still piping hot when we got home. More importantly it got a thumbs up from our very fussy 9 year old. Staff also super friendly will definitely go back.

Dined in yesterday. Staff allowed us to eat in despite them recently cleaning the eat in area. Staff were really friendly and attentive to ensure they got our order correctly. Food was served to our table and was fresh and tasty. Overall, really great experience. Will be returning.

The best part about away days is the chippy on the way home, I've tried many from Newcastle to Bournemouth but have not felt the need to give one a review. That was until Wolves away this weekend with the trip back south taking us through Dudley to Bobbo's. I can honestly say that after spending 10 years in the chippy industry and many years sampling I have never had chips that taste as good as Bobbo's. I've been raving about them since I got back and can't wait for next season's fixtures as Wolves will be first on the list! Shop was spotless, staff super friendly, exceptional value for money (I'm used to London prices). I would recommend a detour if you are in the area, it's worth the trip.

Got thrown off the train last night at Rowley Regis Station (not my fault). Somehow ended up in Blackheath and very hungry. Popped into Bobbo's! Brilliant Pie and Chips and staff really friendly. Would go again when in the area.
