Been after a decent local chippy for a while now, think I've found it with this place. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the shop inside is clean with a big seating area. Had kebab chips and drink to eat in, the chips are amazing, well cooked all decent big chips and not over battered, the meat was tasty and fresh. 10/10 no issue's at all the wife had fish and chips and said it was beautiful, so we will definitely be back again.

Best chippy in West Midlands, can not knock the quality of the food and service here. Everything so fresh and tasty, i give it 10/10 I recommend to everyone to come and at least give it a try ! The price is fair but that don’t matter when the food is so good, I’ve been here a few times and I just can’t say turn my head to a banging fish and chips.

We popped planing to just get a take away but ended up staying in for pie and chips which honestly lovely food was delicious and came with a drink sauce and a couple slices of bread.

Ordered from Bobbo’s for the first time. Customer service was excellent. Ordered the Large cod and Large Haddock. Was cooked fresh when I asked for it. Chips are proper orange chips (with crispy bits) Batter was crispy on both pieces of fish. Price was reasonable. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again Woz

What a lovely gem. The husband wife running the shop were really hospitable the food was great fresh fish battered made to order. They are one of the few places to do battered chips which was lovely. Finish it off with a nice cup of latte. 3 small fish and chips, curry sauce, couple coffees £23.. will definitely visit again when I'm in black heath

This is the only chip shop I will use, Perfection every time. Foods always fresh fish is so fluffy with loverly batter & great chips.

I am not normally one to write a review but felt obliged to write one after my first and definitely not last visit to Bobbo's yesterday evening. I had a awesome Fish and Chips. The fish was awesome, large in size and tasted really fresh with the batter being nice and crispy. The chips were equally great nice chunky chips. I also had a pot of curry sauce which was was a generous size. Bobbo himself was very friendly and you could clearly tell he has a passion for what he does. I would strongly recommend Bobbos if you haven't tried it already.

10/10 cooked fresh and to perfection would recommend cheap and delightful would 100% go again great to go with family and friends plenty of seating area

Bobbo is friendly, and the foods are fresh and traditionally tasty and serving in perfect. Shop facilities are clean and shiny. Fish and chips are crunchy. It's one of the best restaurants in the UK with a professional chef-staff and fair price. Strongley recommended. YUMMY!

We had a mixed kebab, small haddock, battered sausage, scampi and chips. All were absolutely fantastic. Plenty in the portions and all tasted superb. Would highly recommend!!

Absolutely amazing place to eat , staff went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. First time at trying battered chips, and quarter pounder was just as good as the chips. Visited as it wasn't too far out of the way of our journey and the reviews were very good. Wasn't disappointed. Very friendly service, beautiful crispy fish and battered chips. Delicious.

After having continuous bad meals from my previous chip shop, I decided to try Bobbo’s and my god I wish I tried it sooner. The staff are really friendly, the food tastes amazing and fresh each time and you can’t complain about the price. The kebab is always soft and not burnt unlike your other chip shops. 100% recommend

Went to bobbys today for 2 plates of chips and 2 drinks. Cost best part of £10. The chips were not to good loads of hard bits and black bits. But as for the vinegar disgraceful. Waterd down to the point it was just brown water. No smell or taste of vinegar what so ever. Very disappointed

Absolutely the BEST Fish and Chips! Great, friendly service. I am not usually fond of chips but I love the chips from Bobbo's and the fish is so tasty and fresh, beautiful batter! The menu is varied, lots of alternatives to fish and chips, I might try something different one day, if I ever get tired of the fish and chips 🤣

First time eating here. My partner had fish chips mushy peas. I had jacket potato with cheese beans and salad. Couldn't fault anything. Really tasty and prices reasonable. Will pop in again when we r next in blackheath. Keep up the good work.

Had Bobbos for the first time this evening. Food absolutely delicious and still piping hot when we got home. More importantly it got a thumbs up from our very fussy 9 year old. Staff also super friendly will definitely go back.

Dined in yesterday. Staff allowed us to eat in despite them recently cleaning the eat in area. Staff were really friendly and attentive to ensure they got our order correctly. Food was served to our table and was fresh and tasty. Overall, really great experience. Will be returning.

The best part about away days is the chippy on the way home, I've tried many from Newcastle to Bournemouth but have not felt the need to give one a review. That was until Wolves away this weekend with the trip back south taking us through Dudley to Bobbo's. I can honestly say that after spending 10 years in the chippy industry and many years sampling I have never had chips that taste as good as Bobbo's. I've been raving about them since I got back and can't wait for next season's fixtures as Wolves will be first on the list! Shop was spotless, staff super friendly, exceptional value for money (I'm used to London prices). I would recommend a detour if you are in the area, it's worth the trip.
