the best chow mein. flavoursome and generous portions. food tastes fresh and staff are accommodating and polite.

We ordered a takeaway from here. They forgot my sweet and sour sauce and instead gave us 2 curry sauces. The chicken was pink! And the food was stone cold. Won’t be ordering from there again.

Food was awful, lack of taste, dry & cold, took an hour an half for delivery, waste of money, won’t be ordering from here again

Tastes amazing! Order a lot from tammys lovely takeaway especially the munchie box one of the best Chinese shops there is staff is lovely too would definitely recommend

Best Chinese Takeaway in Bestwood area. Always experience great service & great food, nothing too much trouble. Plenty of free parking for pick up orders

Went into the shop, placed an order, had the order read back to me to confirm. Got home with my order to find the wrong meals provided. Contacted them they refused fault, refused to replace. Did refund however no apologies.

Ordered a munch box and chicken in Cantonese sauce. Asked to change spring rolls in the munch box for more chicken balls as I don’t like spring rolls. They said this was fine however did not put more chicken balls in. This munch box serves 2 people and there were 4 chicken balls in total. 2 each, there should of at least been 6 if I asked for more. Furthermore the chicken in Cantonese sauce tasted very burned and Smokey. I rang up saying I didn’t like it as it was burned and if I could swap for something else. From the get go they were very rude and said no as I had tasted the food! Obviously I will taste the food as I ordered to eat this! They would not swap. Said they won’t be doing anything about it and didn’t care if we came back. Felt as if they do not care about their customers. Not even an apology, or attempt to resolve the situation. Seriously not the best Chinese.

What the hell is going off with this place the food was cold and hard.. pretty sure it was frozen then chow main was clumpy the rice was like rice pudding... no flavour and didn’t smell right it smelt like gone off veg none of us ate it... will defo not be goin there again EVER!!

Excellent service and tasty hot food normally collect but because of the snow had a delivery and it came within the time

Tonight was the final straw, ordered a simple meal at 7.30, told it would be an hour, rang up at 9.00 to find out where the meal had got to - not even started to cook it, they said it would be a further 20-30 minutes, we've had long delays before, but I get the impression that they just don't care about the customer any more. We will be taking our business elsewhere from now on.

I used to order from here a few years ago when I lived closer and the food was excellent. Monday 26th I ordered a delivery and was told about an hour. I rang back after an hour and it still wasn't ready.Afer almost an hour and a half it arrived. Wonton soup. An excuse for a Wonton in a broth that could only be described as coloured water. No seasoning. Salt and pepper King Prawns that were like rubber and soggy batter that used to be amazing. Obviously they had been cooked and hung around for ages. Then my curry had an overwhelming taste of aniseed/five spice and bland. Chinese curry is my favourite and this was anything but. Then I had a bad stomach most of the night a first from a Chinese. Sadly I will not be ordering again.

After ordering here a few times noticed food is not edible, and staff are rude or not able to understand what you are saying. I won’t order again

We went to Tammys for the 1st time today after reading many reviews for other take aways. The food was really nice i love the Chicken Chow mein would deco go again highly recommend

Good tasting food, (no dodgy tummies!) next morning which is always a bonus! Delivery time was poor! Told an hr, arrived 1hr 40. Would order there again but perhaps next time collect!

Ordered a simple chicken balls, rice and chips ( the quickest food really) was told 20min waiting time yet I still had to wait 25more minutes so 45minutes all in for it to be ready. Really shocked as usually they're quite reliable.

We are regular customers of Tammys and highly recommend the place. Lovely, freshly cook food and a very fair price. Often get our order delivered by Andy. He is most help full and a great guy. Very good service.

Ok the place needs proper ventilation in its open plan kitchen and isn't the cleanest joint in town but our local Chinese does provide consistently good and fresh food at a reasonable price. Given its location to our residence we buy a takeaway there once a month on average and have yet to have a bad meal. So what if it's a bit rough round the edges!

A good choice for Chinese food, I can recommend the Lemon Chicken, sauce sharp and tasty, generous amount of Chicken. My wife likes the Chicken Chow Mien, generous and tasty.
