The beef GP black bean sauce and special fried rice was very good. The price was decent for the portion size and it was flavourful and just perfect. I will definitely be going again!

Overwhelmed by choice! So I went for the set meal for one - quick service, ordered online, very good portions, very tasty and a very reasonable price (it could easily have fed two!). I will be going back.

Our go to Chinese takeaway! We have been going here for years and never had a bad meal - whole family loves it too. Also, the food always arrives on time. The food is fantastic I wouldn’t go anywhere else

The best Chinese in Nottingham. Food was amazing 10/10 for service. I had crispy shredded chilli chicken egg fried rice and chips.

Unfortunately, we found the vegetable noodles a bit bland, and the chicken Cantonese very very salty

Would allways use hootak but as they were closed thought would give peking house a try. The order was messed up and very difficult to try and sort out. The food was also very poor quality and dry. Will not be returning.

Beats his wife on a constant basis. Causes a lot of trouble in the mapperly community. Rotten food. Disgusting behaviour from the owner. He should be sectioned again and not let out.

Shouldn't be any stars Ordered at 5pm for 6 to 6:15 slot via the website Rang them 3 times two of them times saying 20 mins by then I asked to cancel and you've lost a customer Then to show up 16 mins later with the meal all for 15 quid by then we've Ordered elsewhere If you ever order from here just look elsewhere

It was really chewy and felt dodgy to eat some of the chicken wasn't cooked properly and i was truly disgusted by this matter because it doesn’t match a edible standard chicken balls chewy and also extremely doughy which was sickening to eat .

Appalling service, order confirmation at 6.05 still waiting over an 1 1/2 hours tried calling several times eventually got through and they told me they had to cancel my order and refund me due no staff and shop shutting. Why ffs take my order to begin with. You have lost a regular £30 weekly customer

Truly don't get the 1* reviews. We've been getting food from here for over 15 years and it never fails to please. Last night we ate crispy Sechuan beef and it was sensational..beautifully crispy melt in the mouth beef in a tangy gingery sauce. We also got mussels with ginger and spring onion; my wife grumbled about my choice yet was still raving about it this morning...highly flavoursome plump mussels in a superb gravy. All on a Saturday when they are very rushed and the food arrived on time. What's not to like?

It's our favourite place to order food from. I absolutely don't understand how people give bad review to peeking house, I am sure it's the other restaurants around giving the bad reviews . We have been ordering food from Peking house for 3 years. My son loves the beef with onions,it's absolutely delicious,barbecued spared ribs are great too, chicken noodle soup is my favourite. They are always on time delivering food and I absolutely love ording from Peking house.

Just got my order! Rice overcooked! Chicken overcooked! I ask for a chicken curry with no onions, I got a chicken curry full of onions! Curry sauce was hot with no flavour and to boot it was late! Never again it was rubbish 😢

Ordered at 7 for 7.30 collection. Turned up at 7.31to collect and was told 5 to 10 minutes but received my order a 7.50. 20 minutes late

Wouldn't even give 1 star but had too, no choice. Online order, money taken, order cancelled by restaurant. Rang through to see what the problem was, terrible communication, just said we would have to wait for a refund. Have used delivery service many times, will never use again. Shocking service, recommend to stay clear and order somewhere else!

I Just had a lovely healthy meal from here and it was so fresh and very tasty I got a chicken omelette and chicken with mixed vegetables and it was amazing

How does 3 hour delivery time sound to you? No it’s not a typo!!! Ordered at 6:15 received at 9:15!! Phoned up twice each time just blatantly lied to about how long it would take. Tried a third time, no answer, so I went up there in person. Ignored by staff but spoke to a delivery driver who did seem flustered and very busy, clearly understaffed. He informed me that it was out with the other driver. Clearly making about 18 deliveries per trip. The food was cold and missing an item that we ordered, we got some bean sprouts in what looked like pond water in its place. If minus stars was a thing that’s what they’d get! If you’re looking to spend your hard earned cash on a takeaway family treat, and don’t mind waiting 3 hours for it, not get what you ordered and have a microwave to warm it when it eventually arrives then this is the place for you. How this place is still in business I will never know. Never again!

Always used to use this place. First time for about 4 months, gone downhill fast. Walked in and ordered, waited almost 60 minutes. listened to them batting away many complaints during that time. Many people had come to collect orders and had to wait a long time before the order was ready (one couple had been waiting for over an hour for something they had pre ordered). Finally got our order, walked home and found that our chicken dish (the most expensive part) was missing. Really couldn't be bothered to return to Peking House to wait again, so went vegetarian for the night and chalked it down to experience. Would have given them the benefit of the doubt if it hadn't been for all the other complaints they were getting whilst we were in there. Incompetant at best.

Very poor service week in week out, constantly lied about how long food will take to be delivered. Often well over 1hr40mins to be delivered. Would not recommend them. Plenty more reliable take aways available.

Absolutely awful from start to finish. Ordered food at 7.24pm. Quoted an hour for delivery. Not arrived by 8.45pm so i rung to be told the driver left 2 mins ago. Not arrived by 9pm so rung them back to be told they would ring the driver and ring me back, no joy so phoned them back at 9.15pm to be told i rung u but you didn't answer!!!! Not rung me back at all. LIARS!!!!! Driver finally arrived with our food and couldn't apologise enough i felt sorry for him. He said there useless dont order from them again. Do not use this Chinese there awful 😡😡😡😡😡

Wouldn't normally rate these 5 star but my order tonight was a vast improvement very very fresh food not sat on hot plate for ages and delivered very very very fast huge improvement

wow , considering this is not our local takeaway , though would try.Ordered the BBQ spare ribs which was in a very watered down BBQ sauce and the ribs very fatty . I also found the egg fried rice to contain no egg at all. On a positive note the Hot and Sour soup was really good and the rest of family enjoyed thier meals. Would I use again , mmmmm perhaps not

Worse Chinese I've ever had. Curry sauce was like water. chicken balls and chewy. Whole takeaway thrown away. Absolute waste of money.

If I could give it no stars I would!! Dreadful, dreadful food. We ordered on New Years Eve and it arrived half an hour before the time we selected but thought 'well at least we have our food' however the quality was awful! The prawn toast was soggy with oil and rubbery, the spare ribs were dry and the beef in satay sauce was shocking!! What can only be described as beef in a paste , it was thick and stuck to the beef. I tried to call to complain but they do their usual trick and rather than talk to customers they leave their phone off the hook whilst they are busy so you can't get through. DO NOT order from here!!

Shocking service , took over 2 hours to get food. Called on several occasions to be told it was going to be 20 minutes then called and was told the driver had 6 deliveries to make and was unsure of when it would arrive. Food was cold and inedible once it finally arrived.

BAD! THE WOMAN NOT LISTEN TO COMPLAINT had sauce missing, simple - no - she would not replace it. Talked over me on phone- spouted a lot of Chinese which obviously I did not understand!!àm!!!??? NOT a good place to deal with, they don't like it if they are wrong!!! Also would like to add, the pork balls were well , well over cooked!!!

Chips were greasy to the point where the bag was falling apart; not very appetizing. Also ordered roast duck in plum sauce; the sauce had pineapple in it so I'm not convinced it was plum. Meat was very fatty and not worth the price I paid. Service was good though.

Cold again! Even though I arrived in the takeaway before they had cooked it!!

About once a month we order a take-out from here and we've never had any problems. You can't pay by card in the shop but they do have a website you can order from and today we picked up our food for 4 15 minutes after ordering! My in-laws are also regular consumers and between the two families we have a fair amount of dietary requirements which they happily advise when you call them. Even down to things like no MSG. In all the years we've been ordering from them, we've only ever had one issue with something (I think they gave us the wrong dish by accident) and after we called up and told them they delivered the missing dish a short while later. Also, don't worry about ordering prawn crackers, we've always had them thrown in for free.

Food is consistently nice and the staff are very polite... I would recommend. We have both collected and had it delivered with no issues.

Our regular Chinese takeaway, tried others but peking house always wins. Since lockdown we've had delivery which has always been on time and piping hot. Our fave is Lemon Chicken, Chicken in honey & spicy sauce with special fried rice (dry) never disappoints. Nom, nom.

Just had a delivery from peking house 15 mints ago. The delivey guy was not that nice bit scruffy and not that nice ,food very poor ,most importantly chicken curry not hot ,sauce congealed ,chilli crispy chicken very poor crispy yes on the verge of breaking teeth!!!!,chowmein ok . Have ordered from them for years but food definately has declined !

30 pound for the food. 4 pound for delivery. Came later and was warm. Had to be rewarmed, chow mein was horrid and hardly any chicken in it, rice looked pale and tiny portions for 3.30. spare ribs looked awful so family would not eat them. 2 stars for chicken balls and prawn crackers. I will not be returning again. Delivery guy was lovely btw.

First time used. Easy ordering, very fast delivery and the food was fantastic.

We understand that during this period of lockdown there will be delays with food. But a 3 1/2 hour delay, no answer to phone calls and then rude responses when we finally get through just isn’t acceptable. When the food did eventually arrive it was dry, cold and hard to spot! I couldn’t believe how little cucumber and spring onion we received for the duck pancakes. The pancakes were all stuck together so we couldn’t use them. The chow mien had dry pork in it and several different types of pork by the looks of it. Everything seemed to lack flavour too! Such a shame!

Excellent takeaway offering great range of dishes. Lovely set menu's which are great value. Have ordered 3 takeaways now and everyone has been lovely.

We are new to the area. So tried our our local takeaway. We ordered a 1/4 duck. It was dry and not enough spring onion & Cucumber. Wrong rice was given to us. It was all lacking in flavour. We didn’t complain, we just will not return.

Always a regular customer, i've tried other chinese takeaways and they do not compare. The thai green chicken curry and chicken in a honey spice sauce is beautiful! customer service is excellent and very fast delivery

The first time we used this takeaway the food was delicious, unfortunately it gets worse each time we order. Hadn’t ordered for a while so thought things would be better, sadly not. Tonight’s meal was delivered cold, the egg fried rice in fact had little to no egg and was sticky and bland. We ordered chicken and mushroom but it was like playing a game of spot the chicken and when you finally found some it was slightly odd in taste. All in all I think I will be finding another takeaway. I don’t usually write bad reviews but my meal was really not good and I wasted my money.

It was our first time trying out Peking House and we absolutely loved it! The food was delicious, it came exactly on time. The driver was extremely friendly, our new favourite Chinese and we will definitely be returning!

This used to one of the best takeaways we found in this area but it has really gone downhill in the last few weeks, no flavour, greasy food, nowhere near the quality it used to be.

Food taste delicious staff is really helpful and polite and delivery is quick.
