First class quality food and service, found our new Indian takeaway!

Delicious food, ordered the butter chicken, paneer dansak and a tikka naan, all for less than £30. Each main dish comes with either rice or a naan. Good price, great value for money. Highly recommend both main dishes, the tikka naan was absolutely packed! Would definitely go again.

Really nice curry. Came fast and was hot and fresh. Beautiful veg madras and the onion bhaji were awesome! Will deffo return.

Delicious! Thought we would give a new local place a try and are we glad we did, such great value for money, taste was amazing and overall amazing meal. Definitely will be ordering again soon

Really nice food. Had a karahi ghost delivered to the house first time and i just had a lamb vindaloo this evening and hits the spot, especially during the cold weather. Happy this indian takeaway is close by and the owner is top class as well. Highly recommend

Bland dishes with little flavour and spice. Very disappointing meal. We ate chicken biryani, tandoori chicken butter sauce, Bengali fish masala.

I had my first take away last night as my son had recommended the place and wow was I impressed. The food was amazing. All well wrapped and still piping hot when I got it home. I told my hubby how good it was and he really wanted to try it for himself as I never rave about takeaway food. So that’s two takeaways on two consecutive nights. I have eaten an awful lot of curry in my life but this is my absolute favourite.

I have been ordering takeaways from here for about the past 18 months. The food is fantastic, and the Bhajis are the best I have ever tasted. Ordering is easy using the website, and delivery is usually on time. It is slightly more expensive than other establishments, but well worth it. Highly recommended!

The first time we tried this place last night and the food was unreal! One of the best curries I’ve had in ages. This is now our new curry house! 100% recommend.

I must say this is by far the best Indian takeaway that I have had for many years, the food was restaurant quality and prepared to perfection. The staff even reassured my daughter that they could cater for her nut allergy and took the time to explain all the ingredients within the meals, this was done in a very caring and professional manner which was very reassuring. I will not be going anywhere else for our food and look forward to trying other authentic meals that are on the extensive menu.

Been getting tamarind tree for about 6 months now if not longer and not had one bad experience. From starters to mains its been absolutely spot on. Tried different dishes and all have been perfect. Quality and size fantastic. Highly recommend

Great take away..lovely delivery..no complaints with the food either

This is literally the best South Asian takeaway I've ever had. Never had anything from here which is bad, ordered many times now. When I say I want it spicy that's exactly what I get unlike other places that just ignore that request. Guy who takes orders is lovely. Completely deserving of 5 stars very happy it's near me usually have to travel to Harehills/Bradford for this kind of quality Asian food.

Ordered from here 3 times now and the food has been superb everytime! Huge amount of good chicken in the curries, enough for the following day's lunch. We love the chicken saag, korma, tikka pathia, biryani :o) So far I cannot fault this place and we order from a few miles away in Morley.

Tamarind Tree never fails to deliver top quality food. Absolutely delicious every time! Whenever we order, it is delivered promptly and always with a smile. From the courteous and polite delivery driver to the quality of food this is definitely a five star takeaway.

First time ordering from here, a meal was left out but the guy was straight here with it and we all sat down to eat together. Food was superb, good quality ingredients, we will definitely be back.

Was recommended this place and so glad to have tried it! Had takeaway 3 times in 4 days from here; each time was fantastic with great food. Amazing customer service as with our third order we were given free sides with our meal. The shop is welcoming and amazingly designed with friendly hosts!

Had 2 takeaways here really nice spices. Ordered by phone then paid as we arrived. Always had to wait up to 20 mins. Not sure if they only cook your order when payment is made. Which is fine if this was on the website. Will try to pay on line next time, see if we wait then. We like to collect as we are 15 Mins drive away. But if driver has multiple drops then food might be compromised.

Very friendly staff, food was absolutely fantastic. Only thing that was unclear, was upon ordering on line, you're under the impression you get 3 chapatis and the choice between rice or narn. Otherwise we'll recommen 100%!

A taste of Southern Asia. Delicious good sized starters and tasty mains as described. Authentic food at its best and all mains come with pilau rice, chapatis or naan. Old school and we love it! Quick service and priced right. Excited for our next visit.

Decided to try our first takeaway from the Tamarind Tree after reading the reviews. Great service and fantastic food and sizable portions. I may have just found my favourite takeaway. Well done Tamarind Tree keep up the great work.

Issues now resolved. If you would like to go off menu and request something different-this Chief has the capacity. I asked for a Phall dish to complement my order and it was executed very well-great progressive heat, texture and consistency thank you. The main dish was a fusion of balancing favours that worked. I wish you a prosperous 2021 and look forward to ordering again!

Wow just finished the Naga chicken and what an amazing dish full of flavour. Absolutely gorgeous can't wait to order again.

Only their third night of opening .... But went tonight, - what a pleasant surprise. From the first ‘Hello’ from young SHAZAN. Half an our later, when I collected our order, I saw SADIQ, - Nice polite chap ... ‘genuine’ Now the food, ‘Mr Funny’ (me) a long-time curry connoisseur, Was DELIGHTED with it. Everything we ordered was ‘spot on’ in fact better than many ‘eat in’ Indian restaurants ! What a great addition to the village. I’m sure MOST customers will agree. 👍 👍 But one thing I have learned, after 50 years in business - no matter how hard you try, you cannot please all of the people, all of the time ! But if you make the best efforts, Then the majority WILL be happy, and keep returning. Well done guys, Thank You. 👏👏

Just opened so gave it a try. Can't complain with anything, beautiful curries arrived within 45 mins (as quoted) piping hot and delicious. Didnt taste generic like many others, definitely a unique style, lovely! Will definitely be back.

comida bastante agradable pero mala de personal. Tenía un Sakora con verduras congeladas en trozos de eugh! dudo que el pollo estaba fresco tampoco sé que usted puede conseguir por cocidos congelados trozos de pollo que luego añadir a una salsa. Creo que es lo que sucedió aquí de £16. Evitar!

Mi marido y yo fuimos el día de San Valentín, y para nuestra sorpresa, el restaurante estaba vacío y nos dijo el camarero no tenían reservas, así que para ser honestos no habíamos ido no esperaba nada bueno después de eso. Un poco más tarde un grupo grande llegó a llevar era ordenados y otra pareja así que el ambiente no recoger un poco. El restaurante es muy bonito por dentro, el camarero era amable pero no ir más allá de enchance nuestra experiencia.

We went to the Tamarind restaurant for a takeaway meal, using a voucher. The food was good and the service very friendly and prompt. Although we didn't eat in, the restaurant looked cozy and wel lappointed and probably would be a very pleasant night out.

Fuimos a un miércoles por la noche con nuestro Groupon vale - teníamos una opción más limitado como consecuencia- entrantes eran muy mediocre pero los platos principales fueron casi incomible- la calidad de la comida no era bueno- los refrescos pedimos eran planas. Lo único que lo salvaba era el ambiente y la música que disfrutamos mucho, me alegro de haber tenido un descuento Groupon de lo contrario me hubiera sido bastante molestos.

We went when this first changed owners - te menu is now cheaper but a lot more extensive. The choice is great. Food tasted delicious when it came and not just the bog standard options either. I'd def recommend eating here!

Fuimos a este restaurante en una oferta de Groupon que tiene una buena relación calidad-precio. La comida era excelente y teníamos una franquicia hacia la entrada, plato principal y postre. El personal era muy eficiente y el único inconveniente es que no tienen la opción de postre - era un plato de helado pero estaba muy bien. Podíamos haber pagado más de la franquicia. Las bebidas eran bastante caros.

La verdad es que un miembro del personal era enfermo pero sólo una persona tomar pedidos, el personal del bar, sirven comidas y recoger las mesas no era suficiente incluso en una zona muy tranquila martes noche. A pesar de tener una reserva que tuvimos que esperar varios minutos para una mesa de aprobarse, a pesar de que el lugar estaba casi vacío, no nos preguntó si queríamos bebidas o poppadoms y después 20 minutos nos preguntaron si estábamos dispuestos a la orden. El camarero parecía sorprendido cuando nos dijo que nos gustaría pedir bebidas! Fue un tiempo después volvió a tomar nuestro pedido de comida. Los aperitivos estaban muy bien presentada pero no particularmente bueno y nuestros platos principales fueron decepcionantes. un pollo Tikka masalla amarillo?! Rogan de pollo con más tomates de pollo?! Peshwari Nan con muy poco cocoteros, no pasas sultaninas o pasta sabor?! (aunque estaba muy caliente y muy bien preparado.) El helado era encantador al igual que la decoración. no volveremos.

Vine aquí con una oferta groupon pero después de ver el menú es un precio muy razonable. Yo tenía el kebab de tamarindo para empezar, que estaba delicioso, tan sabrosa. y puedo recomendar el sag y karahi Tikka. El servicio era excelente y la comida era muy buena. También ofrecen un servicio y unos pocos estudiantes barato ofrece a mediados de semana. Estamos bastante mimados en Sheffield con buenos restaurantes indios y llevar pero es uno de los mejores.
