Takeaway, Preston Italian Antonios in Wyre

We're semi-regular visitors to this great takeaway. Nice people and great foodm, made properly. Stuffed mushrooms are always nice and they also do very acceptable pasta dishes alongside the pizzas you know and love. Spend over £30 (I think) and you get a free bottle of wine which is also a nice wine. Very recommended.

Waited 1hr 15minutes for my food rang for a check up so they said it’s been delivered it had not I told them I had a ring door bell ! He brought “fresh food” and gave me some free chips & chicken … the free food was piping hot fresh made my original order that had apparently been “left” in the car whilst he delivered to someone at the back of my house was freezing not only that …. A SLUG on the bag and the box shredded as though a cat had been into it ! So basically my food was left on someone else’s door step recollected and delivered to me how disgusting

I have used this takeaway over the years. Last night was so disappointing the seafood pizza and the garlic mushrooms were burnt and inedible. I don’t have the money to waste on inedible food. You knew you had served burnt food. Shame on you when people are struggling. I won’t use again

Once again we had a fantastic meal pizza garlic bread and there lovely mushrooms, the best in town , never go anywhere else and a free bottle of wine 🍷

Absolutely fantastic pizza and garlic bread. Pizza topping to the very edges of the pizza and guaranteed a mouthful of topping in every bite. We were certainly not disappointed, will definitely be going here again also a lovely bottle of wine thrown in when you spend £20, well worth a visit.

Stuck on the M55 for 4 hours. Called Antonio's and they delivered us 2 great pizzas and chicken wings. Arrived within 20 mins and the food was awesome. To top it off I asked them to pick us up some cigarettes as we had run out and they did as well. Very impressed with their level of service. Thanks Antonios

Used Antonio’s loads of times over the years won’t be ordering again the quality and quantity has gone downhill. Always order the special kebab and every time the quality isn’t good not prepared to waste anymore money on sub standard food so we will buy elsewhere.

First there has been some confusion over Antonio's. This is a little family run place in Ashton-on-Ribble that does down to Earth freshly made pizzas. Some have confused it with another place. It's on more than once on Tripadvisor so make sure you review the correct place. As far as I know they don't deliver. Can't miss the place as has a huge sign on the wall next to it. Anyway, great fresh food, great chatty service especially from the guy who reminds you of Super Mario - though his Italian/English takes time to understand. Great friendly guy. Love the Garlic Bread from here. The Garlic Bread with Cheese and garlic Bread with Tomato are wonderful - they don't spare the garlic here! Also love the Spicy Pork & Chilli pizza, real kick to this. Nice food. I just wish they would expand out a bit with more dishes. But really recommended if in the area.

This is one of our fav takeaway’s to order pizza from. We have tried others but you can’t eat it. Reasonably priced, authentic and fabulous food. I’ve knocked one star off only because they don’t deliver which isn’t a huge issue. Highly recommended if you love pizza.

Just had 4 very nice Pizza including a sea-food and a margarita. All excellent - although there was a 40 minute wait after ordering them in the shop. Would well re-commend. They are not on line or part of Just-Eat and people confuse them with an Antonios in Poulton Street, Kirkham that has a Preston telephone number and is online. This one is in Watery Lane, Preston and we will use again. Because our order was over £20 or so, we got an unexpected free bottle of wine. I presume that had we ordered by telephone, the timing would have worked out better.

It's a takeaway so all that matters is the food and there's nowhere better if you fancy a pizza. It's collection only but definitely worth the trip for.

I just rang to order a takeaway as I saw that this particular restaurant came up on "just eat.co.uk" (which I doubled checked after the conversation by the way and it definitely is on that website) before I could even finish what I was saying the girl that answered the phone bluntly told me that the restaurant was not on the site and when I tried to explain it definitely was and does the restaurant deliver anyway, she continued to cut me off mid sentence. Whether this restaurant delivers or not the girl who answered the phone was just plain rude, she should really work on her phone etiquette.

These are definitely the best pizzas in Preston. Friendly service, always a smile when you walk in. Good garlic bread and a wide variety of pizza. Not open on Wednesday's.

The two lads Franco and Luke make the most stunning pizza's possible and all made with fresh ingredients daily, This place is a must for a pizza, been coming here for 4 years now,never had a reason to complain,top fellas as well really go out of there way to please.

This is the best Italian takeaway by far. It's been there years, so that says a lot. Food always very nice. Nothing fancy but it's the food we go for not the decor.

Simply the best pizza in the north west of England. A pizza base that melts in your mouth and combinations of toppings that you want. Nothing to much for these friendly folk.

Estimated delivery 20:58I rang at 21:15 as it wasn't here and they advised it will be 15minutes making it 30minutes late. Asked to speak to the manager and they said he wasn't in and they don't know when he will be. Supervisor wasn't there either. No respect for customers and no apology. Food was cold when arrived. Won't refund my money because I paid cash. Would not recommend this take away as they are so rude.

Incredibly friendly take away with a great choice of pizza and pasta, the finest salami pizza I have ever had in a takeaway, so much so that it is what we are having for tea tonight! Rally good value and will continue to make this our number one take away in Preston. Only drawback is that they don't deliver.

This is the second time I have visited Antonio's Pizzeria and I cannot fault it, the owner and his son are very friendly and the food is brilliant. Don't waste you time on terrible takeaway pizza and instead go here for a classic Italian taste! This is the best place in Preston for Pizza and i'm sure when I visit next time and try the rest of the menu, I will also agree that will also be brilliant. Tell your friends and family about this place.

First time I have ever been here as I only use Tonis for takeaway pizza normally, but after being told about this place off most of my friends I decided to give it a go. And I'm glad I did as I have never had a pizza like it, the base was thin dry and dusty instead of wet and soggy, and the topping where immense, I got a special which had about 8 different toppings and a garlic bread which was thin and crispy, really really well made. Can't wait for my next visit.

I have been eating here for 10 years without fail. This is by far the best pizza in Preston, they are much better than most restaurants in the area. Thank you for the past few years please visit this takeaway and support Franco and his entire family

I used this take-away half a dozen times and was impressed with the quality of the food each time. Book ahead before collecting as waiting times in this extremely popular and busy take-away can be lengthy if you don't.

Amazing pizza with old fashioned Italian charm, can't fault it. Be aware they only take cash though, which can be a bit frustrating when you need an emergency pizza

Been using this takeaway for years, and they never fail to serve amazing food. Garlic bread is perfect, pizzas not to thick or thin, just right. Always fresh ingredients and always made fresh to order. The best chicken cacciatore I've ever eaten and I've tried it in so many restaurants, and none compare to this tiny takeaway ! I just wish they would do home delivery. The only takeaway I use when back in Preston.

We visit Antonio's on a weekly basis and I have to say the food is fantastic and there is always service with a smile. Genuine Italian food served by genuine Italian Antonio and his son. Thank you and well done - don't know of any better take away or restaurant.

Fresh made pizza base, home cooked tomato sauce. Far far better than the cardboard pre-made bases and usual tomato sauce you get in many places. Try the spag bol, you won't be disappointed. Any chicken used isn't processes its from a chicken cooked in the shop.

Found Antonios when I was surfing looking for italian deli's in the area. It's a small unpretentious exterior but the food more than makes up for it. First visit this week and we ordered pizza's and pasta with garlic bread, just divine. We'll be back.

This is the best pizza me and my boyfriend have had. The best thing about it is that it is traditionaly italian. Being italian myself it is brilliant to see them grab the dough and start making pizza right in front of you. I recommend 100%

You just cannot beat proper homemade Italian pizza made by an Italian. You get it here from Antonio's in Ashton, Preston. Very open kitchen. You can watch the guy (spitting image of Mario, a classic Italian icon) making your pizza from scratch - and you know it's going to be good.I've been visiting this place for years even though my favourite Preston pizza is elsewhere. They do fantastic garlic bread, with the tomato garlic bread a standout. They chuck loads of garlic in there. I love the spicy pork and chilli pizza as well. The picture I have put up here is a ham & pepperoni with little nits of kebab. Smelt wonderful and tasted great. The owner/cook and his family are very friendly. No worries about service here. Everything is quickly and expertly cooked. Prices very reasonable, certainly not at the rip off charges from Domino's. The only problem I have and the reason its not a 5 star review is some of the pizza choices can be a little bland (I've tried them all). I think they need to expand on the menu a bit like local competitors. And they don't deliver. Almost the only pizza house I know that doesn't, I suppose because they are just a little family business. Other than that the place is thoroughly recommended.

Proper pizza made with good ingredients (the chicken is my fav- it's all shredded), by the friendly Italian chap you can watch making it (if you want to stare). They put the super-greasy takeaway pizza you might get from other places to shame. As others have said, the only thing missing is a delivery service, but it's worth picking up for sure.We live pretty close by and for a while (just after we discovered it) we had it every week, and now have it every fortnight or so.Great pizza place, I would definitely recommend it.

I have lived in Preston for around three years. I have been going to this take away once a week since. Staff are great and friendly. The Pizza just can't be beaten in Preston they really are fantastic. I have tried almost every pizza on the menu and can't fault any. Please give it a go! Try the special!

Hands down the best pizzas around, with lovely staff. Authentic Italian pizza's that have become the benchmark for pizza's in our house.
